It is a good place close to Masjid e Nababi
Close to the haram
The overall experience here is very average. The decor and quality of amenities are basic, which is expected for the price. Checked in at around 4:30pm, a little after check-in is allowed, took about 10 minutes to verfiy details, get the keys and finish the process. The rooms did not have any soap, toilet paper or anything in the bathrooms, had to request a complete resupply of toiletries. No where near 4 star or 5 star quality, just a basic 3 star to sleep and use the bathroom, nothing special.
I would like to thank the hotel staff, especially the receptionist ( Ms. Manal), for helping me facilitate the check-in process more than 5 hours before the hotel check-in times.
It a good hotel they allowed us early check in
Excellent service. Staff provide good service and respectfull
Location and cleanness
Need many enhancement. And cleansing
Got my wallet stolen
Had my wallet stolen
The team is very nice and hotel is very clean. Check in was in less than 2 minutes. The room size for four beds is great. Washroom is huge and has all facilities. The only problem is the elevator, you need to wait very long, but the people has also role in that as the are clicking both up and down!
overall clean - but over priced
We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. Our room was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The only thing that was not perfect was the shower area. It was very small and taking a shower led to flooding of the whole bathroom and made it very slippery. Other than that, everything was pretty decent.
It was ok
Absolutely Disgusting – Should Be Shut Down! This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The place is filthy, disgusting, and completely unlivable. There were bedbugs in the bed, and bugs flying all over the bathroom. The bathroom itself was in horrible condition—worse than a 0-star motel, with grime and filth everywhere. To make things even worse, the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. They refused to send housekeeping to clean the room, and the entire place smelled like vomit. It was clear that they do not care about their guests’ comfort or hygiene. What makes this even more shameful is that they are using the name of Waqf Outhman Bin Affan—one of the greatest Khulafa in history. Shame on them for misusing such a noble name for such a disgraceful place. The owner of this hotel will be judged on the Day of Judgment for deceiving people by falsely claiming this is a good place to stay. My wife and three children got sick here with pink eye, and I deeply regret staying at this hotel. I wish I had stayed at the worst place in Madinah instead of here. I usually don’t write reviews and consider myself a very patient person, but this place was so horrible that I felt forced to warn others. This place should be shut down or completely remodeled from the inside out. Do yourself a favor and stay far away!
Amazing
It was terrible, no heat , no hot water in shower, complaint and change the room but same issue in another room
Checking process was easy and front desk staff were helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. It’s about 4-5 minutes walk to masjid an-nabawi. I would recommend this hotel.
On arrival at the property an arrogant receptionist told us we had been transferred a sister hotel accross the road which was terrible in all aspect from rooms, beds, bathrooms service etc In the process of trying to get a refund as they ruined our trip
Really good location, you don’t hear the Athena tho, clean, and the breakfast open buffet is soo good, walkable to Al-Haram, about 3-5 minutes and 7-8 minutes with elderly. Rooms were spacious and facing Uhud Mountain, sometimes the lift get a little bit busy otherwise all gooood
Overall it was a great experience staying there because of the services and cleanliness of the hotel.
Good for the price.
Amazing hotel with a good location. It is 5-7 minutes of a straight line walk from gate 327 (Movenpick location). The hotel’s breakfast was nice, I won’t compare it to a name brand hotel but it has close to 20+ items and a live omelette station.
Our stay at the Osman Bin Affan Hotel was far from pleasant. From the moment we entered until we left, it was a nightmare. The reception staff only spoke Arabic, making communication very challenging for non-Arabic-speaking guests. Took us 30 mins to convey the basic message of what kind of room we were after. The housekeeping staff, especially Sajib Mia, were extremely rude and unhelpful. Room service was abysmal, with requests either ignored or poorly handled. To make matters worse, they do not clean the rooms daily, which is a basic expectation in any hotel. If you’re in a busy season and have no other options, this hotel might suffice purely as a place to sleep. However, don’t expect any kind of service or hospitality. I would recommend looking elsewhere if possible.
Good & clean
The building need upgrade. I booked a double bed room online through Expedia.com and got confirmation but when I arrived at the property, I was told at the reception that there is no double bed room available. Instead they put me in a 4 bed room which I took because I didn't have any other choice. They were issuing room keys at front desk without making sure if the room is already occupied or not. I witnessed one such instance while waiting for check in. The cleaning crew unnecessarily will ask your number. I don't know why. The only advantage this place has is it's location which is at a walking distance to Prophets Masjid.
Close to Haram. After shower water gathers near the washroom door so it’s a safety hazard. Some of the hotel staff members are rude. The hotel only deserve 6 rating.
We checked in on Oct. 23, 2024 and after the first day of moving in we started hearing the annoying noise of the alarm going off in the room beside us. We called the hotel reception multiple times and reported this throughout our stay in order to figure out a solution but no action had been taken into immediate effect. We also requested if they can move us to a different 4 beds room but we were told that there is NO 4 beds room available.
10mins walk to masjid. Good room size and facilities. Room service could be better
Property itself was ok however the toilets were very very bad. Masjid was 5 minutes walk which was very convenient. Overall not bad for the price.
It was a very good choice . Very close to Haram about 5-6 minutes walk. Nearest gate I remember was 327-328 .Hotels were near by and no issues and WI-FI was good.
The good thing about the property is the income goes to waqf Othman bin affan's orphanage fund
Overall, really nice hotel with good sized rooms that are kept clean and tidy.
It is furthest Hotel in the downtown Medina Area. It's an older hotel and needs major upgrade. However, I will stay here every time Allah allows me to visit Inshallah. I am in love with the owner and if it was up to me I would donate every penny to His Waqf. May Allah be pleased with him. Ameen!
Great value and very clean, less than a 10 min walk to the haram.
Hotel served the purpose of our stay, disappointed that we only two towels when they clean the room even after mentioning there are 4 individuals in the room. Room wasn't regularly cleaned and shower waste didn't drain very well. 10mins walk to the Haram and wasnt able to here the athan from the hotel.
Very good to close to Al haram al nabowy
Everything was nice
Nice in general
Location not that close for that price
Awesome location and new hotel and very reasonable prices, excellent food and very close to the haram
I had a truly distressing experience at this hotel, where I was locked inside my room for over five hours due to a faulty bolt. The situation began early in the morning when I tried to leave my room around Fajr time, only to find that the door wouldn't open. I immediately called reception, and they sent someone to help, but the attempt to open the door with a card was unsuccessful. Despite my repeated calls and suggestions, the hotel staff were unable to provide any real solution. The staff member who was sent to help simply disappeared, and when I called again, the response was the same—another person was sent to try the same ineffective method. I even suggested that they let me out through the connecting room, but they refused, saying they didn't want to disturb the other guests. After several frustrating hours of being ignored and having my calls go unanswered, I was left with no choice but to call the police. It took them 15 minutes to arrive, and even then, it took an additional 30 minutes for the hotel staff, with the police's assistance, to finally get me out of the room—through the connecting room, as I had originally suggested. This experience was not only inconvenient but also frightening, and it has left me with no desire to ever stay at this hotel again. I strongly advise against staying here if you value your safety and peace of mind. Both the hotel and Hotels.com refused to give me a refund or any compensation!
this hotel is far with young kids and elderly people overall hotel room and services is ok not wow
Needs to renewal the doors and the lighting
We loved our stay in Waqf Othman bin Affan Hotel and would highly recommend. Walk to haram was 6-8 mins only. House keeping team were really friendly, polite and helpful. Everyone provided service with a smile. There were lots of lifts and all in service. The restaurant breakfast was 10/10 so so many options. The restaurant staff was really nice and polite too. The view from our room was beautiful specially the sunset and sunrise. The room was very nice and clean and interior was lovely. Air-conditioning was perfect and worked really well. We loved our stay in this hotel and can't wait to visit again with our girls soon inshaAllah.
It was a good deal for the price. It was not too far from Haram.
Everything about this hotel is amazing from check in to late check out requested Room service and wifi all spot on
