White Sand Inn

We loved so much our stay. From the beginning until the end, the staff helped and assisted us. They came at the harbour to pick us up, they organised the excursions for us, they made breakfast, which was very good. The room is well equipped, clean and the bed is very comfortable. The beach is at 2 min. The terrace is very agreeable. It really felt like home, it was our best stay in the Maldives ! Thanks

Nasz pobyt w GH był wspaniałym doświadczeniem. Personel okazał się niezwykle pomocny i zaangażowany – wsparli nas we wszystkim, od organizacji transportu po zakup biletów powrotnych do Male. Czuliśmy się naprawdę zaopiekowani na każdym etapie wyjazdu. Sam pensjonat zrobił na nas bardzo dobre wrażenie. Pokój był wygodny i przestronny, świeża, pachnąca pościel, klimatyzacja działała bez zarzutu, a duża łazienka była dodatkowym atutem. Prawdziwą perełką jest jednak lokalizacja – zaledwie kilka kroków od przepięknej Bikini Beach. Ogromnym plusem jest również wspólny, klimatyczny taras z widokiem na otaczającą zieleń, idealny do relaksu po dniu pełnym wrażeń. Z całego serca polecamy to miejsce i z przyjemnością wrócilibyśmy ponownie ❤️

Amazing place to stay on Maamigili. Very close to the bikini beach/guest beach. Rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. The island is very calm and has a nice relaxing vibe. But the personal is of White Sand Inn is why you want to come here. Holy cow, they step it up when it comes to service. They really try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. First of all we got picked up from the ferry, nice! And from that point onwards they tried to facilitated in every manor possible. Amazing. Big shout out to Farid and the main man, Rakib. Thanks for making our stay a 5 star experience.

Отель очень близко к бикини пляжу(2 минуты). Пляж не плохой ( есть с чем сравнивать). Полностью оборудованный( душевые, туалет и т.д.) Отличный хозяин Umar Zahir. Лично встретил в порту. Всегда на связи. Оперативно решает любые вопросы в пользу клиента. Персонал тоже старается. Мы брали полный пансион - всегда были сыты. Отличный вариант за свои деньги !

The only thing i can say is that the sink in the bathroom is really small and not really comfortable. But it’s a really minor thing.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. We were provided complimentary pick up and drop from the ferry jetty.

Nice manager and Service give awesome experience and great breakfast. The room is clean and comfortable and the AC .shower is convenient. And well done. The activity we ordered has super surprised. Every time the landlord picks us up to go to the speedboat that’s very kind .Six days is so short for a nice invitation. So I think I will back in the future.

The accommodation was very clean and located just a few minutes from Bikini Beach. The surroundings were very calm. Rakib, the person who took care of us at the accommodation, and the owner were both very helpful and friendly. They helped arrange various interesting trips for us, as well as transfers to Maamigili and our next destination.

Mosquitoes - don't forget to bring mosquito repellent — although you can also buy it in local shops. Also, Bikini Beach could benefit from a bit of renewal.

The guesthouse arranged our pick-up and drop-off to the transfer boat, which was very convenient. They can also assist with booking transfers to and from Malé, which is a helpful service. We especially enjoyed the outdoor terrace - it was a lovely space where we spent long evenings playing cards and peaceful mornings working. Having access to a water station and complimentary coffee throughout the day was a great touch. The staff were friendly and responsive throughout our stay. The guesthouse is located away from the main centre but right next to Bikini Beach, which was perfect for us as we preferred a quieter, more secluded setting. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches and overall hospitality!

A couple of suggestions for improvement: it would be great to have a larger duvet that properly fits the double bed - we had a single-sized one, which felt a bit small. The mattress was also quite firm, so a more comfortable option would be appreciated. Adding some extra drawer space for clothes would help with organisation. Since we had access to the outdoor terrace, the office table in the room wasn’t essential. Lastly, while breakfast was pleasant with eggs, fruit, and bread, it could be improved with additional options such as sausages or a traditional Maldivian dish.

Umar runs a wonderful guesthouse in White Sands Inn. The rooms are clean, the AC cold, the showers hot, and an easy 1 minute walk to the beach. Rakib, the caretaker, is very helpful, cooking breakfast at times convenient for you, helping organise trips, cleaning your room, and generally making you feel both safe and welcomed. Our family did the whale shark trip twice as we didn't get to see them on the first day, but did on the second day, along with dolphins too. We also went to picnic island and got to see several more grey reef sharks and a cow tail sting ray. Umar was also very helpful in setting up speed boat transfers to and from Male/Maamigili. He was available on whatsapp before and during our stay with very timely responses. Make sure you reseach Maamigili first as it is a local island, focused on other industries with a basic tourist infrasture. Personally, our family really liked it and enjoyed the slow pace. We got to talk with many of the locals over the 5 days. Overall, if you are looking for an affordable and convenient way to fulfill your dreams of swimming with the biggest fish in the ocean, you can do it here at White Sands Inn.

Realy comfort bed, nice terace with view on the palms, two bicycles on which you can go to the city because accomodation is near bikiny beach but far from the center. Owner take is to the small island with boat for three hours just for free with others guest. It was so nice day. In the night break our air condition and the manager of accomodation go reapair it. All island Maamigili is just small Male, no good vibe in this city but is good location to trip to see whale shark. The beach is small but nice. Accomodation is good for the money, but after 5 days they no cleaning our room and no change towels. Breakfast is always same, continental. Every days 2 eggs, toast with butter and jam.

We stayed at White Sand Inn for 3 nights. And would stayed there again for sure. Great price performance, frendly and welcoming team. They arranged the transfer to and back, they arranged whale shark trip(found whale sharks in no time + Mantas), after whaleshark seeing went snorkling on different reefs(included in price). (Through out all the trip they arranged all the transitions to different exit points) They have option to get bikes (out prefered way of exploring thing(for free)). The owner arranged picnic island trip, again for free(maybe exlusive ocasion, but still, it happened:)) Great breakfast. Clean rooms. They offer to wash and dry your cloathing, again free, which shows the hospitality that we receved. The bikini beach is 2min away. Scuba center(Shamar guest house) is next door. Our dive guide also stayed at white sand. (Shamar and white sand are owned by two brothers). All in all great experience, I would recommened it to anyone who is planning to go to Maamigili. 10/10.

I had an amazing 4-nights stay in White Sand Inn. A small, but very cute bikini beach is just 3 min away. The guesthouse itself is very clean, with comfortable bedding. The breakfast is simple, but very tasty, with fresh fruits, toasts and eggs. But the best thing is the guesthouse's owner and his staff. Both are very caring, with always big attention to clients. Despite being very busy with multiple businesses,  the owner helped me to organize the transfer, snorkeling tours, showed me the island, and on my last day even organized a fish BBQ for the whole guesthouse. I didn't have to worry about anything and could only enjoy my stay on the island! I would definitely return here!

The sink in the bathroom was leaking water, but it wasn't a big problem

It’s small and nice buildings .in the room have air conditioning and fan the room is clean Hasan is great reception he can answer your any questions and he’s nice he keep the property really clean and the owner of the hotel is a good man he managed our tips for manta and whale shark he’s trying his best but he still need experience anyway he made up by one dinner it’s nice for me he more like my big brother he’s very helpful even he’s chasing every penny so free dinner for guests it’s a big step 😂(the costumers in here is so cool they can play guitar and sing)

Amazing personal experience with the sweet guys who work there. Also they are good entertainers. Never had a boring night. The owner is also a very helpful man and they all looked out for me and took good care of me, since I am a young solo female traveler. I felt very safe at White Sand Inn. I definitely recommend everyone to stay at this place when they visit Maldives.

I had an excellent stay at White Sand Inn with my family for one night. The experience was truly memorable, and my family thoroughly enjoyed their time. The hotel owner generously provided us with two complimentary vehicle trips, which was a delightful surprise. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. I liked both the hotel itself and its location. There was a beautiful beach nearby where you could swim and watch the sunrise. I took a hotel with breakfast included. It was prepared every morning) The manager also arranged for a transfer by speedboat to the island itself. It was very convenient: 2 hours on the road and I ended up on the island at the hotel!)

Very new guest house. If you like diving or snoerkling excursion the location is perfect beacuse you can reach the diving center by walk in 1 min! I had breckfast every day at White Sand Inn, it was continental. Close by there is Shamar Guest House & dive with local or international food for lunch or dinner! They pick you up at the ferry station and they do organize the transfer by speedboat from-to Male. I definitely recommend it!
