Sehr herzlicher Empfang, die Mitarbeiter waren alle super freundlich. Kostenlose Schnorchelausrüstung und kostenloses Wasser in Glasflaschen. Leckeres Frühstück. Bequeme Betten. Großzügige Wäscheleinen. Persönlicher Bringservice zum Pier inklusive sehr herzlicher Verabschiedung. Wir konnten am Abreisetag länger im Zimmer bleiben. Großer Aufenthaltsraum. Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, sah aber gut aus. Sehr entspannte, unkomplizierte Atmosphäre. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Od začátku až po závěr vše naprosto perfektní. Hned po příjezdu vřelé přivítání. Pokoj čistý, postele pohodlné. Snídaně tak jak na Maledivách bývají, nečekejte to co v resortu, ale vždy chutné a na přání udělají co jde. Bazén jsme nevyužili, chodili jsme každý den k oceánu, po domluvě jsme tam měli 4 lehátka. Moc děkujeme, že nám Shariq udělal nádherná fota a videa z dronu a vzal nás na potápění se žraloky a delfíny, nejkrásnější zážitek. Ubytování mohu jen doporučit a myslím, že vše je opravdu perfektní díky tomu, že se Shariq a jeho kolegové umí postarat a jsou ke všem vstřícní a milí. Ještě jednou díky za krásnou dovolenou 🤩.

Good location, nice staff and comfortable rooms

Mooi complex met een leuk zwembad in een prachtige tuin met veel groen. Eigenaar Shariq was heel erg behulpzaam en wilde alles voor je doen. Ontbijt was ook prima.

Gardens and pool area were very well maintained. Room was spacious with effective air conditioning. The manager, Shariq and the receptionist, Moon were very helpful with everything. Shariq arranged an alternate onward travel option which saved us time between islands. Shariq was overall very hospitable.

Bathroom was a little small. Balcony was tiny, literally standing room only for two people - the air conditioning unit was mounted on the wall and dripping water pooling on the balcony wall. Small double bed with small duvet - not enough to cover two people! However our room also had a small single so, although not ideal, we had a bed each. We had to move the fridge in order to plug it in to power before we could use it. Breakfast was poor with no Maldivian option, however the fresh bananas were good.

En el mismo hotel te ofrecen actividades, te acompaña Shariq y personal del hotel siempre procurando por tu bienestar y felicidad. Habitación amplia y comida muy buena. Hotel tranquilo, de 15 habitaciones y con piscina. La isla és muy tranquila, nada masificada y con playa bikini beach muy bonita. Os hecharemos de menos a todos!

Мені сподобалось перебування у Madi Grand. Шарік чудовий менеджер готелю, робить все для комфортного перебування. Він влаштував мені екскурсію до китової акули, хоч шанси були мінімальні. У номері була гаряча вода у душі, кондиціонер, рушники для пляжу і тп. Загально все було добре.

Сніданки були не різноманітними, майже щодень одне і те саме. В номері не прибирали за весь час перебування.

Ligging op het eiland, comfortabele kamers, vriendelijk personeel. Mooi zwembad. Je kan van alles lenen voor o.a. snorkelen. Veel tips ook. Helaas door het weer geen tour kunnen doen. Maar wel zeer netjes met communicatie en geen verdere kosten

Ontbijtbuffet is wat simpel. Mag wat uitgebreider. Bepaalde gasten spelen muziek of geluid op de telefoon hard af in hun kamers op vroege tijdstippen. Dit kan nogal storend zijn. Misschien iets aan de dure kant per nacht.

L'hotel ha decisamente superato le nostre aspettative in tutto! Le stanze accoglienti, letti grandi e comodi, piscina pulitissima e curata. Abbiamo trovato anche una vasca con i pesci, e soprattutto una micina dolce e coccolosa tutto il tempo! Il personale e stato un incanto. Cordiali, sorridenti, sempre disponibilissimi e gentili. Porteremo tutti nel cuore per lungo tempo. Oltre ai servizi 'classici' dell'hotel abbiamo passato anche due ore divertenti a fare karaoke nel salottino dedicato, e sono stati cosi squisiti da portarci anche le sdraio alla bikini beach. Un soggiorno meraviglioso, grazie infinite!

Everyone was friendly and the pool was really nice and it was a good price with a reasonably good size room.

They need to get more umbrellas and chairs for the guests. We had to get up early to make sure we got a lounge in the shade at the beach. And the breakfast was fine but it wasn't warm by the time we had breakfast. Also our garden balcony was very small with one chair but there are a fair amount of mosquitoes so time outside there was limited anyways. Sometimes the shower water smells you just have to let them know and they will add chlorine to fix it.

I enjoyed my stay at Madi Grand. Upon arrival in Fulidhoo by speedboat, Shariq was already waiting for me. The check-in was relaxed and welcoming, with a drink on arrival. The room was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. Shariq is amazing and did everything he could to make our stay perfect. I had dinner here on several evenings, and the food was consistently delicious. I can highly recommend staying at Madi Grand when visiting Fulidhoo.

People, definitely people. Sharick and his team are wonderful and caring, they are the highlight of our stay here.

Nothing - everything was delightful.

We spent 7 nights at the Madi Grand in Fulidhoo and were extremely happy with our choice. The facility is clean, and the food is good and reasonably varied. There is also a swimming pool, and masks and fins are available for guests. The Madi Grand felt special thanks to the attention and care of Shariq and his team. Moon welcomed us during the check-in process and accompanied us throughout the entire week with her constant smile, always available and incredibly helpful. Shariq also organized all our excursions, joining us with great care and never being intrusive, allowing us to enjoy truly wonderful experiences. A special thank you to Jakir for keeping our room clean, and to the entire staff for their kindness and support. Fulidhoo is a wonderful island, we highly recommend this place and would gladly return.

Very friendlier staff and host, good location and beautiful island.

The resort itself was wonderful – beautiful property, excellent service, and all the staff were genuinely friendly, helpful, and professional from the moment the real hotel transfer team picked us up. But upon arrival at Malé airport I was picked up by the person sent by the hotel at the currency exchange counter who is helping with the transfer and strongly pushed me to exchange USD into Maldivian Money at a terrible rate, saying it was the only currency accepted on the island. In reality, the resort (like most in the Maldives) happily accepts and even prefers US dollars, and the Rufiyaa I received was almost useless. So, I have taken a lot of Rufiyaa home. But I think that This person was not part of the official hotel team. Otherwise, everything is good!

Excellent service from the staff, Sharik was all the time very helpful and always making sure that everything was all right during our stay. They brought sun lounger for us to the bikini beach when we asked for it. We went at two snorkeling tours with Sharik that exceeded our expectation, at the first tour we swimmed with nurse sharks, turtles and giant mantas, we also saw from the boat over hundred of dolphins playing around. The boat was comfortable and in very good condition. We were only 6 guests at the tours so it was never crowed.

The breakfast was regular and in level with other places we stayed in the Maldives. It has nothing to do with the hotel but our impression of Fulidhoo is. 1.- There is no natural shade from palm trees or other trees on the bikini beach like in some other islands, there are some sun umbrellas at a first come first serve basis. 2.- I am a good swimmer but it is not easy to go snorkeling along the house reef from the beach, you better take a snorkeling tour. 3.- Very often there is a acrid smell over the island coming from either the power plant or the burning of garbage (it might even be toxic).

Excellent location, cosy hotel with the pool, free snorkeling equipment available. Staff were excellent, made us feel like at home, super attentive and friendly. Shariq was especially kind, always available for any questions or requests - thank you so much for your hospitality! Hope to come back again and cannot recommend this place enough!

Staff and rooms, Everyone was very kind

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Madi Grand on Fulidhoo. The staff were friendly and accommodating from the moment they welcomed us from the speedboat until they waved us off on the speedboat at the end of our stay. The food at breakfast was lovely and plentiful and they have a good dinner menu if you want to have dinner at the guesthouse. Our room was comfortable and clean with aircon, coffee and tea-making facilities, fresh chilled drinking water, bath and beach towels and toiletries. Shariq, the guesthouse manager, was very attentive to all his guests ensuring that their stay was enjoyable, organising trips many of which he led personally and advising on activities.

The staff were absolutely brilliant! The onsite restaurant was good, nice choice of food. Reasonable prices too. Great little swimming pool in a lush garden.

The room wasn't cleaned, bin emptied or the beds made in the 4 days I stayed there.

Heerlijk hotel die ons heeft verrast. Niet alleen het hotel was heel schoon, fijne grote kamer en het personeel was top! Dank je wel Shariq, Chadani, Jakir en Sachine! Zij helpen je met al je vragen en merken al snel op waar je interesse ligt waardoor ze je goede tips kunnen geven voor bijvoorbeeld het snorkelen en om het eiland te ontdekken.

Zo genotern van ons verblijf in Madi Grand. Bij aankomst op Fulidhoo met de speedboot stonden ze al op ons te wachten. Relaxte checkin met een drankje. Kamer was ruim en alles was aanwezig. Otbijt was standaard maar je kon speciale wensen melden en hieraan werdt gehoor gegeven. Via Madi Grand ook een tour geregeld en dit was ook allemaal top geregeld. Shariq is een topper en wilde ons in alles een perfect verblif geven. We hebben ook een aantal avonden hier gegeten en dit was allemaal even lekker. Het zwembad is een hele fijne extra. Kan iedereen aanraden om hier te verblijven op Fulidhoo.

El personal. Shariq , el encargado es un tío majísimo, super competitivo y trabajador. Gracias a él, el hotel funciona. Siempre tiene solución para lo que le pidas. Un crack.

El hotel no es barato para ser en una isla local, hicimos el esfuerzo y reservamos este hotel porque tenía piscina, pues bien, la piscina estuvo sucia los 5 días que estuvimos y no pudimos usarla. no es justo que pagues un precio por un servicio y luego no puedas disfrutar de él. Eso deben de avisarlo de antemano.

de locatie van het hotel is erg fijn (we konden de moskee niet horen in de vroege ochtend) het eigen zwembad was erg fijn voor de kinderen om te spelen na een dag snorkelen en fijne bedjes om te relaxen. loopafstand van alles (bikini beach, jetty, supermarkt voor ijsjes) grote kamers en fijne douche met ook warm water en super bedden. we hebben de haaien excursie geboekt en deze was fantastisch met super mooie foto's en goede uitleg over de dieren. het hotel heeft flessen water om te drinken en dat is fijn voor het milieu. de vers gevangen vis op de bbq was super. ze regelen ook vervoer van en naar het eiland zowel boot als ferry

het eten was heerlijk alleen een beetje weinig fruit en groente. nou is dat lastig op een eiland maar we miste het wel. in het hotel moet je je slippers/ schoenen uit doen. dit is voor het restaurant en receptie prima en hygienisch maar op de trap die vaak nat was (door zwemmers) te glad.

We hebben een super verblijf gehad bij Madi, mooie fijne ruime schone kamers en zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Shariq is een multitasker, continue alert of iedereen comfortabel is.. wat een harde werker! Hij regelde ook excursies voor ons en liet de prachtige onderwaterwereld van de Malediven zien met respect voor de natuur. Net zoals dat hij het belangrijk vindt dat wij het goed hebben, staat voorop dat alle dieren het ook goed moeten hebben en is nog het meest te waarderen: natuurbehoud. Samen met zijn team heeft hij voor onze kinderen een droom in vervulling laten gaan (zeeschildpadden van dichtbij zien). Ook wij zelf hebben enorm genoten van Fulidhoo en daar was Madi een belangrijk onderdeel van.

Eigenlijk niks.. hooguit dat het water uit de douche soms een raar geurtje had maar dat heeft te maken met het filteringssysteem op het eiland verwacht ik

Lovely hotel on the central of the island. The rooms are neat and clean. Shariq and moon was very much helpful they arranged everything for us. All the staff was good except 1 staff she was very much busy on phone she don't listen to guest properly she sit backside of buffet and use phone everytime and she don't have manners also infront of guest she eat and drink coffee when the buffet was empty she don't bring we have to ask all things all staff was good and helpful 1 staff was very much bad 😞

Our stay was absolutely wonderful – amazing staff, perfect location, and everything was very clean. A special highlight was Shariq, who personally takes care of the guests and is always available to help with anything you need. He also organizes fantastic tours to the nearby coral garden, as well as shark and turtle dives 🐢🦈🤿. On top of that, he captures incredible photos underwater or with his drone and impresses with his detailed knowledge about marine life. 🐠🐳🪼. We would definitely recommend! 🙏

The room not bad, there is a Tv but it's only if You have Yourself (account) Netflix, not Channels to inform You at all. WiFi works well and bed confortable.

The Administrador called Selvam, He didn't hear that my reservation I did ""on the 28th OF JULY 2024"". That day the GREEN TAX in Maldives were 3 Dollars (according to my Booking.com reservation) per night and per person but! In 2025 the Government changed to 6 Dollars. I have received the information the day that I arrived HOWEVER THE HOTEL HAD MY EMAIL TO INFORM ME WITH ENOUGH TIME!. NO SINGLE APOLOGIES FROM MISTER SELVAM!. HE ONLY SAID: ALL MUST TO PAY IT!, OF COURSE I DID! MISTER SELVAM. Also I booked a Triple Deluxe room for one person because I couldn't book a Single or Double room on the 28th of July 2024. When Mister SHARIQ brought me to my room, what I got was a Double. I contacted Mister Selvam again and His answer: I didn't charge for 3 people... However Booking.com saw something strange on my reservation!. About the Team at the Hotel.... there is a Indian Guy called SHARIQ (I think, He was responsible for the trips and Hotel). He gave Me His WhatsApp to contact Him at any time (according to Him). I just contacted Him 3 times because I wanted to make a trip during my 7 nights!. No single day He contacted Me!, the trips what I wanted, He wanted to sell Me another one instead what on His list were!. The third day on the Island, I started to have ear pain (right), the water in the shower smelled to rotten eggs! all days! (I am pretty sure that I got in the Hotel that infection because I never put my head inside the sea). Thursday the 4th of May, my pains were worse (I couldn't eat and sleep), on Saturday the 5th of May, I went to the Reception and the Girl called Moon (from Nepal) sent me with another Guy to a Hospital. The Hospital was closed!, I returned to the Hotel and that Girl told me to wait until Sunday (She doesn't have Herself NO IDEA If it will be open or not!.

I had the most wonderful stay at the guest house, and I truly can’t recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The place is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and full of charm — a real home away from home. What truly made the experience exceptional was the team, especially Shariq and his staff. Their kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism stood out throughout my stay. Every detail was taken care of with care and thoughtfulness, making me feel valued and relaxed from start to finish. The rooms are very clean, the accommodation was very ok compared to other accommodations on the island, the lady at the reception was very kind and attentive to our needs and Shariq as well.

a minus is the food which was a bit scarce and the fact that other locals from the island had access to the outdoor pool, I recommend the accommodation if you don't want to eat here!

We stayed at Madi Grand during our trip to the Maldives and couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice. Beautiful hotel, kind staff (special thanks to friendly Shariq), close to the beach. They even bring you sun-chairs and umbrellas to the beach if you ask them. I can recommend this hotel to everybody!

Very best thing about this property is the staff. All the staff were polite, friendly and clearly work hard to make sure everyone has a comfortable stay. Shariq’s snorkelling trips are excellent and he captured the best photos of the trip. He is across everything and makes sure everyone gets to do everything they want to. Location is also great as everywhere is close to everywhere on such a small island and the pool and gardens are a nice bonus. I also have to mention the food. Dinner can be ordered in advance for a set time and is perfectly cooked and very tasty. Definitely try the hot butter prawns!

The location of our room was right by the stairs so we felt we had to keep the curtains closed the whole time for privacy. The breakfast was also the same every day, although when I mentioned I would like to try the Maldivian breakfast, the following day it was made especially for me which was lovely. Also the food at dinner is fabulous, but the restaurant area could maybe do with a bit more atmosphere in the evening, maybe a little bit of music and cosier lighting.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Madi Grand Maldives, where I encountered blatant racism from a front desk employee named Shariq. When my Chinese partner and I were checking in, alongside another Chinese couple and two Chinese female travelers, Shariq immediately pulled out a notice written only in Chinese, outlining hotel regulations and fines. This made us question whether such rules applied only to Chinese guests or to all visitors. During check-in, he was rude and dismissive, emphasizing unusual rules like no eating in the room and no slippers in the building. What’s worse, after checking out, we spoke with the other Chinese couple who stayed an extra night. They shared a shocking incident: Shariq assumed they didn’t understand English and gave away their pre-booked speedboat seats to an Italian couple, falsely claiming the boat was full. He then openly expressed anti-Chinese sentiments, telling the Italians that he dislikes Chinese guests, believes they cause trouble, and is annoyed by the number of Chinese visitors at the hotel. This confirms that Shariq is undeniably racist. A hospitality professional should treat all guests equally, regardless of nationality. Such discrimination has no place in the service industry, especially in an international destination like the Maldives. Madi Grand Maldives should take immediate action and terminate his employment. I have a full recording of the conversation where the Chinese couple confronted Shariq about his racism. I am willing to provide this as evidence if necessary. To fellow travelers, especially Chinese guests, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel unless management takes action to address this serious issue. Our stay at Madi Grand Hotel on Fulidhoo Island was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of our trip was definitely Mr. Shariq, who went above and beyond to make our time on the island truly special. From organizing exciting trips to offering helpful advice and assistance, he made sure we had everything we needed. His kindness and attention to detail were greatly appreciated, and thanks to him, we now have wonderful memories of our time on Fulidhoo. The breakfasts could have been better, as there was limited variety and some items were missing, such as dairy products and vegetables. However, the overall experience, especially with Mr. Shariq’s help, made up for it in every way. If you're looking for a warm and welcoming atmosphere with plenty of incredible excursions, Madi Grand is the place to be!

Trevligt guesthouse och Sharik tog hand om oss ypperligt från att vi kom till att vi åkte. Ok standard men lite slitet. Ok frukost men inget speciellt, supergoda shapati. Sharik löste även en god barbeque dinner på stranden åt oss genom att köra ner bord och stolar. Supermysigt. Hotellet ligger ”mitt på ön” men det är bara ca 100 m till stranden. Bra utsikt från toppen på madi så du kan se runt ön. Fulhidoo är verkligen en paradisö!

We loved our stay at Madi Grand in Fulidhoo local island! We strongly recommend this guest house, especially for those who are looking for wonderful snorkeling experience. We went for 2 private snorkeling excursions for a reasonable price in comparison with resort island. We saw dolphins, sharks, stingrays, turtles and many types of fish. Shariq was our main hotel contact and our snorkeling guide. He was very accommodating. We had basic swimming skills and we always felt secure with him, even with the strong waves. He also took wonderful videos and shared with us many stories and tips! Thanks a lot Shariq for everything! The staff of the hotel was very nice and helpful, restaurant was also cheap and tasty. The guest house has all the basic confort. For room cleaning, you have to ask the staff since it is not systematic. Also note that there are no elevator.

Det var ett fantastiskt hotell. Bodde där 5 nätter. Mycket rent och välskött hotell. Sariq som var ansvarig personal på hotellet var fantastisk, han hade personlig kontakt via whatsapp och var alltid tillgänglig för frågor. Tjejen i receptionen var alltid trevlig och tillgänglig. Frukosten var något under förväntan då det oftast var kallt/slut. Men det gick att prata med Sariq eller övrig personal så kom de ut med mer utan problem. En fantastiskt upplevelse helt enkelt. AC på rummet fungerade utan problem.

Great place to stay, the staff are nice, good breakfast, they were able to do us an early breakfast before our dives. Shariq was able to sort out our delayed baggage from male which was a life saver!

I love how Madi Grand staff greeted us, especially Shariq, from check in at the jetty to our hotel and back to jetty when we checkout. Everything was smooth even though we encountered a rough weather during our journey from Maafushi to Fulidhoo Island. Shariq guided us what to do via whatsapp. He also showed us around the beautiful island. Thank you Madi Grand Team. Hope to see you again in the future. InshaAllah.

Nothing was bad except for the weather in the first few days, which us humans cant control. So no worries.

The building is new and has a nice pool. The excursions offered to the sharks and turtles were great. Shariq and the team were helpful to find us transportation when the public ferry was cancelled. Very nice people.

Very nice guesthouse in Fulidhoo. Shariq and his staff were very helpful on all aspects of our stay. The food was the best we had in Vaavu Atoll. Nice rooms and a very nice pool for families. Snorkeling gear available to use and booking to side trips were also available.

I liked very much about the friendly personnel and the nice and comfortable accommondation. Special thanks to Shariq about amazing shark/turtle trip and very warm presence. The island is such a paradise and all people are like big family there. It's really worth to travel some extra with speedboat to get there. Big thanks to all there at Fulidhoo, miss you already.

If you are on the tropical jungle island you probably can't avoid some unvanted visitors in your room, personally I mer small spider but it was kind to me and there was also a friendly lizzard that was so small and cute and they will well bring you lucky, right? So actually really nothing to complain about.

We felt like home meeting these amazing people, Shariq and his team. He organised a wonderful trip to sharks and shipwreck for us. He also pick us from the port and drop off us there. The room was clean, the area outside has a nice garden and it is close to the bikini beach, which is so Amazing beach! Shariq’s and his team professionalism, passion and hard work made our stay memorable!

The bathroom should be renovated, it’s ok but wet the most of the times. The breakfast could be better, but also ok 👌

Had a really wonderful stay at Madi Grand for 2 nights. The room was nice and clean, the staff were very kind! The hotel manager especially was so nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend staying here and it's a safe place for solo travellers.

Warm welcome by Shariq at the jetty and took us to the accommodation with our luggage. He told us everything you want to know about the island (e.g. when to visit the stingrays and nurse sharks). If you had any questions, he was more than happy to help you. We even booked a unique excursion with him where we saw multiple leopard sharks. He made this stay in the hotel very pleasant.

Fulidhoo island is great for a less crowded beach experience in the Maldives and is the Stingray Observation Point. Shariq and his staff organize everything for an unforgettable visit, from smooth airport transfers to exciting shark viewing. The rooms are clean, and the hotel is close to vibrant Bikini Beach.

I hope we can enjoy a cozy double bed instead of two single beds pushed together! If that’s not possible, I think using a double-sized fitted sheet would help keep them nice and snug together.

I really liked the hotel (room, pool), everything was great, food was delicious, staff was there for 24/7 to provide you everything you needed. We had the best experience on the island, Shariq was really helpfull and has guided and showed us around the island so we could get the top spots for everything we needed.

The staffs at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed delicious breakfast in the morning and love the convenient location close to major attraction.

The service from Shariq was excellent. He was taking so good care of us whole week. He booked our trips, got us snorkeling, keeped a company and everything we ever wanted. Best service we have ever got. Also the cleaner boys where excellent and kept our room always clean.

Madi Grand Guesthouse was an amazing stay. Shariq and the staff there were so accommodating, hospitable and generous throughout my stay and helped with carrying my luggage, helped with arranging transfer to Male and helped with anything else I requested. The location is perfect and I will definitely come back to this place in the future. Thank you Madi Grand!

A little more planning around the meal planning and timing

Excellent hotel. Clean rooms. Every day room service. Friendly staff. Delicious meals in the restaurant which was included in our booking. This hotel has a good location, a few steps away from the beach. On this beach a lot of fish and other underwear wildlife. Excellent snorkeling. Fridge and air conditioner in the room. We spend our holiday joyful. Thanks for the staff. They were very helpful. Hats to them.

The guesthouse is beautiful, clean and well organised. The staff are very well trained, friendly and caring. It really is an impressive set up where everyone wants you to have the very best. The guesthouse incharge was particularly impressive, he gave us lots of advice and helped us with special requests, nothing was too much trouble for him.

Location is great, very modern

Under construction, we expected that. The rooms weren’t cleaned during our stay.
