Fantastic place to relax, full off activities for kids ( and adults ) and the most lovely staff. Breakfast is nice and fresh. And what I love the most is that everything is clean, and the vibe from the staff just make you happy👏🏻😍

The staff was very accommodating and helped out with anything I needed. Specifically, Shakawhat and Shakil. Martin was also very cool.

I mean, if we are splitting hairs, there was no hot water, but I don’t know if that was even advertised. Also, they built the bathroom without P-trap so the smell does come out of the drain.

Excellent stay! Great location, the tourist beach is just a few steps away, good rated restaurants near by, a health centre and a shop within the same area. Warm and friendly staff always willing to help. Fast wifi, free Netflix, free 15min massage and waterproof beach bag was quite a nice touch. Quick and efficient service, overall clean and well maintained property.

This may not be an issue for many but the rooms are not soundproof and some guests are a bit rowdy and I cannot really blame the hotel for that. :( The restaurant could add more items to the menu for breakfast or maybe offer a breakfast buffet option.

Water in the bathroom is a bit smelly, dont know if thats the island or the hotels fault.

I stayed at Funplace for 3 weeks—first with friends in the Family Suite and then on my own in a private room with a balcony. Both rooms were excellent and exceeded my expectations. The level of customer service was comparable to a five-star hotel. Rooms were cleaned daily, water and instant coffee were replenished whenever needed, and the staff were always happy to help. They would even provide golf cart transportation to and from the surf, help carry boards, and place them on the rack after sessions. Are these things necessary? No. But the staff genuinely and happily go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The restaurant serves delicious food with fast service, and the spa is fantastic. I treated myself to several massages during my stay, and guests receive a discount at the spa, which was a great bonus. The rooms are spacious, have plenty of storage, reliable Wi-Fi for remote work, and include a refrigerator for snacks and leftovers. Honestly, I have zero complaints and would highly recommend staying here. As a female surfer, I spent nearly two weeks at Funplace on my own and felt completely comfortable. The entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. I also appreciated not staying at one of the typical surf hotels, which meant I wasn't surfing with 10–20 of the same guests every session. The location is ideal—about a 7-minute walk to Jails, which served as a nice warm-up and cool-down before and after my 5-hour surf sessions, and only a 1-minute walk to the harbor for boat trips. The surf boats are large, modern speedboats, which was especially appreciated when storms rolled through. Overall, Funplace strikes the perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to surfers, couples, families, digital nomads, and solo travelers alike.

The view and since the place is near beach side it was so good. Staffs are very friendly

All Staff members are exceptional, starting from the pickup till the hotel , also shakhawat was very helpful for the issue I had regarding the speedboat that I missed.

The Air conditional was not cooling that much.

Die Lage war perfekt, Frühstück könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein. Wir fragten anstelle einer Mahlzeit nur einen Saft zu konsumieren, da waren Sie nicht flexibel. Schade

Jäi vähän kokematta kun en hoksannut heti kysyä mitä hotellihuoneen hintaan sisältyy (oma moka) mutta kun hotellin johtajan tapasimme oli jo myöhäistä vesiaktiviteeteille jotka olisi kuulunut hintaan Huoneen "parveke" oli ritilälattialla oleva seisoma alusta josta näit roskakasan

Sehr nettes Personal.

Man sollte nicht zu Ramadan auf die Malediven fliegen, denn Essen/Trinken in der Öffentlichkeit am Tag ist für Touristen mit Geldstrafe belegt. Das Zimmer war leider auch nicht so wie auf dem Bild, es fehlte der Schrank (und das Sonnenlicht).

Ci hanno fatto pagare due volte le tasse dopo averle pagate a Booking, abbiamo segnalato il problema e non ci hanno restuito nulla, anche dopo loro ammissione dell’accaduto. Assistenza Booking pessima, perciò potete contare solo su di voi. State molto attenti a non farvi fregare soldi

dei 2 jungs an der Rezeption sind wirklich ein glücksgriff sie sind zuvorkommend und extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das hotel ist auch gut ich könnte nichts bemängeln. Die Ausflüge die man im hotel buchen kann waren auch gut.

Il luogo è pulito, semplice e nello stesso tempo di buon gusto. Non parliamo di una struttura lusso ma comunque di un albergo il cui punto di forza è la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale. Shakhawat è stato a nostra disposizione ed è una persona che prende a cuore il proprio lavoro con professionalità. Il letto è fantastico, comodissimo. La prima colazione a noi andava benissimo; per ogni persona era incluso caffè o te, acqua ed un piatto cucinato a scelta. Alla struttura è convenzionato un centro massaggi che consiglio e di fronte l'Hotel è presente la Bikini Beach con un bar e dei lettini ed ombrellone a disposizione degli ospiti. Cosa volere di più ? Il tutto con un rapporto qualità/prezzo molto buono

Difficile dire cosa migliorare perchè siamo stati trattati veramente bene, accolti ed anche un po' coccolati. Ci sono venuti a prendere al porto quando siamo arrivati ed anche accompagnati alle 6:30 di mattina quando siamo partiti fornendoci anche la colazione da asporto. L'unica cosa che inizialmene non è andata bene (ma perchè booking non lo aveva menzionato) è stato il pagamento di due tasse che poi booking stessa mi ha successivamente rimborsato una volta aperta la segnalazione

La prenotazione prevedeva due camere deluxe, ma non c'era una finestra accessibile in quanto una volta aperta dava, un su una chiostrina interna con ponteggio. Non c'era un armadio. A metà vacanza abbiamo richiesto cambio camera ( a pagamento) e abbiamo scelto una familiare ultimo piano con due camere da letto due bagni e jacuzzi con terrazzo A colazione negli ultimi tre giorni non avevano più blackcoffe incluso e non offrivano alternative sebbene avessero caffè espresso (ma solo a pagamento). Le escursioni proposte avevano un costo iniziale molto elevato. Servizio spiaggia da migliorare

This was our first time in the Maldives, and we chose to stay on a local island. Our group of six stayed for four days and three nights. Every morning, the island owner arranged for us to go to the resort and other islands for activities such as dolphin watching, snorkeling, and turtle watching. The Maldives is truly beautiful; the water is crystal clear, and the beaches are incredibly fine. Everything was arranged perfectly, punctual, and efficient. The boatmen were very friendly, and everyone was incredibly hospitable, making it an unforgettable holiday. The price was much cheaper than staying in a private overwater villa at the resort. We will definitely come back to this island because we really don't want to leave.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel has a nice, relaxing atmosphere close to the beach.

Coffee was not included in the breakfast, there were some flies in the restaurant area, and there were not enough sun beds on the beach for all guests.

Sakhawat and the other guys were amazing. They could probably make almost every hotel great. They seemed like really nice people. Their restaurant is also the place we liked the most on the island

The information for catching the ferry could have been better (such as location) but you should just keep asking to make it more clear

Shakhawat, il ragazzo che ci ha accolte è un vero tesoro. È stato fin da subito gentile e disponibile ad assecondare tutte le nostre richieste. Colazione abbondante inclusa nel soggiorno e la struttura è nuova e molto pulita. Letto comodo, pressione della doccia ottima e bikini beach di fronte, dispone di lettini gratuiti e offre un sacco di attività dal semplice noleggio di occhiali e tubi per lo snorkeling a giornate intere in barca per fare snorkeling o immersioni.

Funbeach Hotel in Himmafushi is a fantastic place for a relaxing getaway. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located just steps from the beach. ​The staff are the true highlight, always friendly and ready to help. The service was nice, and the massage is actually Thai massage! Which is good. Also their food probably is the best food on the island!

Me and my wife stayed at the Fun Place for the second time in a few weeks. We loved it so much the first time we came back. The staff is so friendly, the rooms are clean, they have a restaurant next door that has great food and overall it’s just a great place to stay on Himmafushi!

Wir waren zwei Wochen in diesem schönen Hotel und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Leckeres Restaurant. Super freundliches Personal und ein Traumstrand direkt vor der Haustüre. Einfach so wie man sich seinen Traumurlaub vorstellt😊.

The hotel Funplace is in front of Bikini Beach and we could see the ocean from the Whirlpool! The room was big enough for us 4 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Huge balcony. There was always water and coffe (Nescafé) im room. The air conditioner was very good. The beds are very good as well. Internet was not top, unfortunately didn’t work at the whole time. The only negative point was that the door didn’t lock at all! So I left my important things in the Safe and took the key with me every time! But the hotel and the island are so safe that it didn’t bother us much about leaving the door unlocked.

Our honeymoon at this hotel was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed, thanks to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Every member of the team was always eager to assist and made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to the chef – his cheerful attitude was contagious, and his food was absolutely divine! Every meal we had, from breakfast to dinner, was simply perfect.

Wifi and soundproofing could be better.

Perfect stay at Funplace, people in reception made everything for us to have a perfect stay! They helped us to fix my broken shoe and gave a cream to relieve my friend who got hurt. Only the last day they didnt come to clean the room (there is absolutely no problem with that), and we found a dead cocroach in the bathroom in the morning just before to go. Super fun excursions (sandbank and dolohins at sunset), everybody was super nice, from the cooker in the restaurant (the food is amazing) to the girls of the massage salon!! I will come back and i highly recommend!

I recently stayed at Fun Place Beach Hotel during my surf trip, and the experience was truly enjoyable. The service and staff were attentive to every detail, ensuring that all my needs were met seamlessly, especially when it came to boat coordination for surfing. The spa services, though simple, were relaxing and a perfect way to unwind after a day on the waves. The breakfast was a nice highlight of my stay, with a good selection of food and, again, the impeccable service of the hotel staff. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed beach stay.

The best property on the local island. Clean, the staff was the best, especially Kausar, Livia and another guy tall and slim (don’t remember the name, but he was truly welcoming). Breakfast was always good, beds clean, the property had a good air conditioner. Buggy until the surf spots was a super privilege

With the respect to the price of activities that you could find in a island, funplace have double price.

I would definitely like to let everyone know about this place. I had 2 weeks booked with them and 3 days before i was to leave my mother fell ill. I called expedia and the property to see if i could change my dates to a later date. Never an answer at the property. Expedia was never able to reach the property. I finally got a welcome message from funplace and it was then that i told them multiple times we had tried contacting them with no answer. They then told me to make any changes i would have to go through Expedia. 72 hours later expedia says they arent able to resolve the issue due to not being able to contact the property. Long story short...dont stay with Funplace! They are not honorable
