This is an very nice modern hotel for most people. Lovely rooms pool and people .
We are both mobility impaired. The staff and management do not have a good grasp of that problem. Tubs with handrails are not accessible. The furniture chairs and tables are extremely heavy and moving them is almost impossible. the sofa and upholstered chair are designed for gymnasts or mountain climbers (short people with strong legs.) we could not sit on the sofa and he to stand up . light controls were neither labelled or obvious. A hotel this new and this good should do better I want to repeat that the people at every level were totally accommodating, cheerful and professional.
Excellent hotel, room was very clean and spacious, breakfast was really good, the pool was amazing, staff was very friendly and helpful, seven milles beach was a few minutes walking from the hotel, we highly recommend this hotel, and can not wait to come back.
All good.
We came to celebrate my wife's 55th birthday and I contacted the concierge prior to arrival to arrange for a cake and champagne to be in our room and they were able to make it happen! They also included a nice hand written note for us which was a nice touch!
The only downside is the beach setup and that the day beds practically block the entire front of the beach. We've been coming to Cayman for about 8 yrs now and have stayed at the Weston and Seafire and both beach setups there are perfect for viewing the beach without any obstructions. Perhaps the day beds could be moved to another area to themselves to allow an unblocked view from regular beach chairs.

This hotel is exceptional for families. The location on Several Mile Beach is perfect. The room sizes are more than adequate and meet family needs. The pool is gorgeous and the water temperature is perfect. The hotel features several restaurants for various tastes, which is great when meeting the needs of several people. The beds are comfortable, and housekeeping is extremely delightful to work with and make sure you have the best stay possible. The TV channel selection is also better than most other resorts for those days when you want to stay inside or just catch up on movies or your favorite series. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to book again soon.
The resort is pricey, although you will receive excellent customer service. Please note service/resort fees and gratuity are included in just about every transaction. I would also recommend the hotel adding a 2-bedroom option (sleeps 6 comfortably) with two full baths to accommodate more families, especially those with older children/young adults.
very Friendly Staff Large room , clean modern
Tax, service charges and resort fee very expensive
Very good service-the staff were attentive and friendly without being pushy. The food was good and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. And the ocean is the dream place
The only downsize was a beach lounge are not being cleaned daily. It could be such a beautiful and pleasant place if cleanliness were maintained more consistently
Exceptional staff, immaculate facilities and great location. The hotel is a 5-minute walk to the beach - and the Bonny Moon Beach Club offers great service (best pina colada I've ever had/towels, comfortable chairs and kind servers). Love that the Kimpton Seafire (IHG sister hotel) is also a 5-7 minute walk from Indigo- fantastic restaurants and bars. Pom Pom rooftop had an incredible view and sunset! Highly recommend!
Pool is lovely, but wish it was bigger - a second pool would be great (given the higher percentage of kids that are on site).
Everything was special
The location and the staff were all friendly.
Some of the basic food were expensive but understand it all aligns with the cost of tourism.
Located perfectly on Seven Mile beach with all the amenities you could need on a tropical vacation
Clean and new
Everything was excellent. The only issue that I had was the young lady in the check in stated that she was going to add $100 credit to my account due to the 10 min wait for my room to be ready. The credit was never added to my total bill.
Amazing staff, interior design, cleanliness and overall feeling was inviting and comfortable.

Clean, modern, comfortable hotel! Walking distance to a private beach and great outdoor restaurant for the evenings.
The cost was steep and while I was given a room with a great balcony, it overlooks a parking lot.
The property was incredibly clean with easy access to the pool and gym facilities.
Nothing.

Loved the property, beautiful ocean views!
Everything truly was fantastic. Service was amazing everywhere - front desk, valet, pool, all of the restaurants. The food was great. It’s a great location on 7MB. I couldn’t suggest it more!
If I had to come up with anything it would be small things like maybe the pool bar and restaurant bar opening a little earlier than 11 and 12. (We are on vacation and could crave a mimosa by the pool in the morning 😂)
This hotel was nice. Not on the beach, but just a short walk over. I wouldn't stay here again. Rooms were okay. They were clean and the service was good. The food was very good at the restaurants. The pool was nice. Poolside bar drinks were amazing. But I would stay on the beach elsewhere (I wouldn't recommend the Seafire which is next store - we stayed here for 4 nights and there are better hotels and beach location). Come for dinner at Pom Pom rooftop. Great food and cool vibes and views! Not the best beach. Bonny Moon manages the beachfront, you are not getting a front row unless you rent a lounger. This is ridiculous seeing as no one is renting a lounger for $320 for the day. So your view of the beach is blocked by these huge loungers.
I booked this hotel for me and my 2 grown up daughters because of a review I read. The review was a rave and they didn’t lie. We give this hotel 10 stars, not five, because besides the beautiful beach, the large pool and great restaurants, every single person who worked at this hotel was outstanding. So friendly, so helpful, so sunny!!! I walk with a cane and the hotel has a golf cart service that would take us to the beach and back everyday. I looked forward to talking to Sandy every day. The staff that waited outside and would get you a cab to go to one of the fabulous restaurants near by, were ALL so welcoming, fun and helpful. There were 3 of us so our room after 3 showers was a bit of a mess. The next day, the room looked just like it did when we first arrived. Perfection. The staff also recommended some restaurants off site for variety. I recommend sitting with the waiter Giuseppe at Tilly’s restaurant, and ordering the luscious barbecue ribs at Peppers. Best I’ve ever had. So- go and enjoy!!!!
Located on the quiet end of Seven Mile Beach this newer resort offers the best in pool and. Beach access. The manager Big Mac has been there since the opened a few years ago He done a great hill job of over the top hospitality training . Most of the staff at all levels remember your makes by the second day. The property itself is great for couple or family’s traveling with children We stay here twice a year We have traveled to Grand Cayman for 30 years we have stayed everywhere on the island Hotel Indigo is our place now
Excellent facilities and service. A bit of a walk to the beach but overall we loved our stay. The hotel’s partnership with the Bonnie Moon Beach Club is a real plus.
One of my favorite on the island!! Extremely clean and modern with the cutest decor! The employees are amazing. Bonny Moon which is right in front of the hotel on the beach comes with complimentary chairs and umbrellas if you are staying at Indigo. Definitely check out Kassette. One of the best gift shops I’ve seen on a resort.
This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The pool area is dated and doesn’t have enough seating. They have cool bed loungers that you don’t have to pay extra for, however, the mattresses are so worn that it’s just like sitting on the bare wood. The kids meals are reasonably priced and good and the kiddy pool and hot tub are fun. The beach is a quarter mile walk from the hotel. Then you get to the beach and the chairs are set right on top of each other. So close that you can reach out and touch the stranger sitting next to you. The actual beach front in front of the chairs is small. The beach itself is unkept and full of sticks and other debris. The rooms are nice but even with the premium ocean view you are staring at a parking lot in front of the ocean. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere.
This hotel was perfection!! Chanze, Rebecca, and Ms. Sandy truly made our experience wonderful with their hospitality and warmness. They made sure everything was perfect at every turn. They are all truly special and will be one of the reasons we return. The king ocean view was perfect for our stay and the Pom Pom and Cafe Alula were cherries on top. There was a lovely barista and cashier and Cafe Alula that already knew our coffee orders day two. Habir our housekeeper made sure our room was tip top and at home. The valet service was great and the complimentary valet with our rental car was clutch. Truly enjoyed every last bit of our stay and wish it were longer! We’ll be back!!
We absolutely fell in love with this hotel. Everything was so well thought out and designed to make your vacation feel relaxing and elegant. We were greeted upon arival with a very refreshing welcome drink and cold wash cloth. It was a small touch, but after a long day of traveling, it made a big impression and started our holiday off right. Check in was seamless. The front desk was professional, friendly and welcoming. We had an early flight- arrived well before check in, so our room was not ready. We had already planned on leaving our bags and exploring the area. They very kindly invited us to use the pool and facilities until our room was ready. We did change into our swimsuits and took a quick and refreshing dip in the pool. We wandered around, had a great lunch at Bonny Moon (separate review) and returned to the hotel. Our bags had already been delivered to the room, and there were two reusable water bottles waiting for us. They have filling stations throughout the hotel where you can get still or fizzy water- really appreciated that. We were on the tenth floor and all I can say is wow! The room was spacious had beautiful decor, and again felt elegant and relaxing- we instantly felt comfortable. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable and we slept well. It does seem that the AC is on a motion sensor- when we did get up to use the bathroom at night, the room felt a little stuffy- I was not crazy about that, but, it was not a big deal overall. The balcony was a nice size, and had two comfortable chairs and a small table. I enjoyed having my morning coffee out there, and we both enjoyed having a cup of tea while we unwound at the end of the day. The bathroom was also a good size. The toilet is in a separate space with a pocket door- which is always a nice feature when sharing a bathroom. The walk in shower was large and had great water pressure. They provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The hotel and grounds were beautiful and immaculate.(It is a new hotel, so there has not been much wear and tear). Everything at the hotel was kept sparkling clean. The landscaping was lush and again meticulously cared for. The pool area was beautiful. We usually chose to sit in the "back row" of the pool area. It was just a little quieter and we had more privacy. There were always plenty of loungers available. The staff was always very friendly and happy to help. They have a staffed booth with towels, water and sunscreen available. The attendants were all personable and pleasant. They also have a little library so if you need a book, or have a book you have finished one you can drop it off. Another nice touch. The loungers have a flag attached that you can use to signal if you would like to order food or drinks. We used that several times- and all of the staff were so friendly! The service was very efficient, and the drinks were absolutely delicious! The hotel is across the street from Seven Mile Beach. We enjoyed the walk, and really did not think it was a negative. Honestly, we have stayed at hotels that were beach front, and we had longer walks to the beach from our rooms. We did see families using the golf carts to go to and from the beach- they had several of them and there did not seem to be any wait to use them. We enjoyed the walk, so we never used the shuttle. Seven Mile Beach is beyond words, and the Bonny Moon was a wonderful beach club, and it was a huge plus for us that access was included with our stay. One thing to mention is the Bonny Moon is a separate business, so you can not charge food and drink to your room there. Not a negative- just mentioning for planning. The beach club was very well organized and they just needed your name and room number to get you set up with towels and a lounger. They have water and complimentary reef safe sunscreen available if needed. We booked two excursions using the on site concierge. She was professional and very helpful reviewing the available options. We were charged the same price as if we booked directly with the tour operators- so if you are unsure what to book- they are a great resource. We did not rent a car, so we used shuttles for the tours and taxis for other wandering. The bell staff were all top notch. Taxis were available almost immediately. And for the tours, we just let them know what tour we were going on, and they watched for the shuttle. We waited outside, but some folks chose to wait in the lobby and they made sure they knew when the shuttle had arrived. Check out was just as seamless, and a taxi was already waiting as we exited the lobby. If we are ever fortunate enough to be able to travel to Grand Cayman, we would stay at the Hotel Indigo without a doubt. Thank you to all of the Hotel Indigo staff that made our stay feel special!
Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman was amazing. Every staff member was courteous, friendly, and accommodating. They made me feel welcomed with thoughtful gifts, helpful emails before arrival, and regular check-ins by text. The warm saltwater pool was relaxing, and the beach was just a short walk away. When we arrived, staff set up our chairs and umbrella and provided complimentary water. The breakfast buffet was also great, with a variety of selections that changed daily. Overall, the service, hospitality, and attention to detail made this a wonderful stay. Highly recommend. Kyana
Had the pleasure of staying here for a work event. I was originally disheartened it wasn’t beach front but you really don’t notice, views from our room were beautiful. The pools were nice and the quick walk to the beach was right down a small path. The staff were all accommodating and the rooftop bar had great staff and cocktails.
Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman is a beautiful and welcoming place to stay, offering a relaxed island atmosphere with plenty of thoughtful touches throughout the property. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making the entire experience feel easy and well taken care of from check in to check out. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained landscaping that adds to the overall calm and tropical feel. The pool area is a real highlight, wonderful for relaxing during the day and enjoying the warm weather in comfort. It’s also conveniently located just a short walk or quick golf cart ride from the beach, which makes it easy to enjoy both pool and ocean time without any hassle. The only small suggestion would be to offer free coffee service in the morning, which would make the start of the day even more enjoyable. Don’t forget to pack bug spray as the hotel didn’t have it available. Overall, it’s a fantastic stay with great amenities, excellent service, and a perfect location for a Grand Cayman getaway.
I went to Hotel Indigo this past week and the staff was wonderful, very attentative, friendly and helpful. The food at the Catalina Restuarant on site was very good but it was pricey. The room was big and very comfortable. The air conditioning was good and it kept the room very cool. I also want to give a shout out to the bartenders at the pool, Luis, Michael and Clayon. They were wonderful and helpful because I couldn't sit in the loungers so they brought me a regular chair every time i went to the pool. The grounds were well kept and the pool was very clean. I would recommend this resort.
Such a great hotel. My wife and I had an incredible trip here with our 2 and a half year old. Very accommodating. We will be back!
Staff was excellent. Great service. Hotel is stunning. Super clean and new. Loved our room. Everything logistically was perfect!
Unfortunately, the only issue for us was the pool area, which was unfortunately unusable due to the large number of mosquitoes. We were getting bitten nonstop immediately after sitting down, which was especially concerning as I am pregnant. Because of this, we were unable to enjoy or use the pool during our stay.
Well-designed, great pool, short walk (or golf cart ride) to the beach. Food was only okay and pretty expensive. We brought our two kids and had plenty of space in the standard room. Fantastic staff. 5 minute walk to the Kimpton. The hotel has a very nice section of beach with plenty of loungers. The water is calm and crystal clear.
Great time. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Pools are relaxing. Short walk to beach. Clayton and Angelina were extra special.
Modern hotel with great amenities and friendly staff. Good restaurants and a rooftop bar.
I cannot say enough great things about this hotel and staff. They treat us like family. We've been there multiple times and they know us by name and they also know our kids' names. They always go out of their way to say hi and play with our kids. The accommodations are top notch. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. I've never been to a hotel that is so clean at any time of the year...busy season and off season. The pool is perfect for kids and adults. Every restaurant at the hotel is delicious and oh my goodness the coffee cafe! The best coffee on the island. I'd love to give a shout out to some of the staff...Front desk -Chanze (she is absolutely fabulous and we'd be lost without her) and Chelsa is the sweetest. Paul, Danu, Miguel, Lwandi and the gentleman from Sri Lanka that I can't remember his name...they are so kind and treat us like royalty when we arrive and leave the hotel. The grounds guys, Vick and Newton, again, fabulous and go out of their way to make sure we're comfortable.....I know I'm missing some folks, but truly all are amazing and I look forward to seeing them as much as I look forward to visiting the Island. You will not be disappointed by staying here.
Hands down , five stars! This was our fourth visit to Grand Cayman and we typically stay at the Kimpton Sea fire resort, which is right next-door. Being that it was spring break the rates were super high so we decided to try out the indigo and we are so happy that we did. The Hotel is well appointed and definitely has a luxurious feel, all of the staff at the door who help with the luggage and transportation are all exceptional. Front Desk staff was amazing. They gave the cutest plush turtles to our kids upon arrival. It was our son‘s eighth birthday and the hotel set up a lovely amenity for my son and every time we had a meal every server we came across was so attentive and knew that it wasour son‘s birthday and made it extra special for him. The staff at the restaurant are absolutely amazing people, special shout out to Romy and one of the managers there, unfortunately I forgot his name, but he is from the Philippines and he was so attentive and remembered us every day and was just so pleasant to come across each day when we went for a meal. But everybody in the restaurant was just absolutely amazing and the food was phenomenal. We actually went over to sea Fire for dinner one night and was a little disappointed. We would’ve rather had dinner back at Catalina in the hotel. And considering it was spring break, the Hotel did a very good job in accommodating such a large capacity. We had such a great time we actually just booked our next trip to return in July.
This is a beautiful property. Great location, the rooms are so very clean, spacious and well appointed. The entire staff are amazingly attentive and friendly. Top three ever, and we an older couple who have always traveled a lot.
Hotel Indigo was an amazing experience. The customer service was the best. The facilities, pool and restaurants were phenomenal. We have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The hotel staff were the best we have experienced in our travels.
I have nothing but good things to say about everything that was within their control, but the view definitely is a small detractor. We knew what we were getting going into the trip, but therefore I can’t give it 5 stars when the hotel is built behind a public beach parking lot. Admittedly, the hotel does a great job obscuring this when you are on resort, and you can’t see it most of the time from the pool, but it’s pretty obvious from your room. Just from that standpoint alone, I would suggest booking the Kimpton next door if you can. While the beach access and loungers are good, I also believe the Kimpton’s are slightly better. View aside, everything else is wonderful. The staff and service are wonderful, housekeeping is some of the best and nicest people I have run across, the property is beautifully planted, and the pool is wonderful. Our room was modern, very spacious, clean, and in excellent condition. Showers were great and bed was comfortable.
5 for sure this hotel was so accommodating and in top of there guest I loved every experience ce from breakfast to dinner Catalina great .
The staff was incredibly friendly and hardworking. Our experience was exceptional.
It wasn’t directly on the beach, just a short walk.
Nice ambient and a very nice building.
I would expect for the price we paid more inclusive services!
Le personnel est vraiment exceptionnel. Ils étaient de bonne humeur, aidants et prêts à m'aider à trouver des solutions. J'ai beaucoup apprécié aussi la propriété de l'hôtel.
I think it’s messed up that we couldn’t get a chair at the pool because we don’t have a room even though we dropped over $600 at the restaurant. Food was decent but not amazing. Ambiance is excellent.
Very clean , great service very nice staff
It is not beach front , you have to walk , short walk 3 min or golf cart from hotel.
I don’t even know where to start with my review. Somehow TripAdvisor ranks this as a 3-star hotel, but it is most definitely 5 stars. My wife, our 7-year-old son, and I visited the resort for my birthday/Christmas break. When we arrived, we were upgraded from a neighborhood view to a harbor view, which had a beautiful view of the water. To our surprise, there was a sign, beers, and a piece of cake waiting for us in the room, which made us feel extremely welcome. The room itself was super clean and had a modern feel. The pull-out trundle bed was perfect for a kid. Our mattress and pillows were so comfortable I had to take a picture of the tag. The pool was large and never felt overcrowded, even during the busiest time of the year. When we decided to go to the beach and come back to the pool later, we never had to wait more than 5–10 minutes for chairs to open up. The pool attendants were beyond friendly and remembered my name every time I came down. They genuinely made the experience feel personalized. There’s also ping-pong and Connect Four in a secluded area. The beach is only a quick 5-minute walk, and chairs were included as part of the resort fee at the Bonny Moon Beach Club. The water is crystal clear, with good snorkeling just a short walk up the beach past the Kimpton. We got pastries and coffee from the café every morning. The pastries were delicious, and the iced mocha was the best I’ve ever had (and we love coffee). We didn’t eat dinner at the resort, but we had lunch at the pool a few days. Unlike other resorts where the on-site food is subpar, we thought it was fantastic. The flatbread burrata was 10/10. The drinks were great too. The resort is conveniently located near several walkable restaurants, and Bonny Moon offers great lunch at your beach chairs and dinner as well. I can’t say enough about the people who work at the resort. Everyone we encountered was genuinely kind. We’ve been to a number of resorts, and we agreed that this one is at the top of the list because of the people who work so hard to make guests’ vacations memorable. One of the best examples was on the day of checkout, when my son couldn’t find a stuffed animal he had brought. When we went to the front desk to see if it had been turned in to lost and found, Big Mac, the assistant manager, went to a back room and returned with a stuffed stingray to give my son in case the stuffed owl wasn’t found. It turned his frown upside down and gave us yet another reason to leave thinking so highly of the resort. We can’t wait to return!
Hotel bueno
Relación calidad - precio
The most polite and helpful staff we have ever encountered on any vacation. They made everything exceptional and we had a wonderful dining, pool, beach, and any other activity including bikes for a day experience. I cannot recommend enough. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our visit so special.
This was our second time in Cayman islands and it was fantastic, the indigo hotel was great. The service was second to none. If you like good food , beautiful beaches and good vibe then you'll enjoy Cayman islands. Thank you Hotel Indigo
We come to Cayman every year and have stayed mostly at the Ritz and more recent the Kimpton. We wanted to try this hotel and were pleasantly surprised! The food is outstanding! Rasa (chefs table experience) deserves a Michelin star and the rest of the restaurants are on par with any 5 star hotel with many different restaurants to pick from. The hotel is new and the pool is beautiful. Very quiet hotel and the service is phenomenal. They are so kind and it is a luxurious experience. The rooms are new and cute but don’t expect a ritz type room which we were ok with. The beach is a short walk that is no longer than a big resort walk. The beach club is owned by bonny moon which is actually pretty cool since you have a restaurant quality menu to choose drinks and food from while you are on the beach. For half the price of the “5 star” hotels, this is a hidden gem. We were really happy with our stay and are really picky New Yorkers 😀. The ocean view room has a great view and worth the splurge, we also got a free upgrade with was greatly appreciated
It was a beautiful property!
Nothing
I can’t even describe how amazing this hotel is! From the very start we were given welcome drinks, I requested a room on a higher floor and they gave us the top floor, the room itself was beautiful, luxurious and comfortable, and the view was unbelievable! One of the only hotels that offer a local rate, and we will definitely be coming back for our next celebration. We went for our anniversary and they gave us not one but two cakes! The staff are very attentive and really made the experience unique. Pom Pom was fantastic as always. Couldn’t be more grateful to the staff for elevating this experience for us. Even though it was a staycation, we felt transported. The pool and hot tub are amazing, and they even provide sunscreen and aloe Vera. 100% will be staying again.
This place is really disappointing. Our first room, with one bed, facing the noisy highway, was outright dismal. We moved to a room facing the pool which was…fine. The beach is beautiful but the loud music they play *cannot* be escaped anywhere (even in your own room with no open windows or doors) so don’t expect to read a beach book or listen to the sound of the ocean. Don’t expect to sleep in or enjoy your balcony either, unless you like leaf blowers for 90+ minutes every morning. Staff are aggressive, omnipresent, and will not honor a “do not disturb” door hanger. If you want to drink a lot of alcohol, this hotel might be for you.
We stayed at Hotel Indigo on Grand Cayman as a family with kids. From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with a heartwarming smile and a delightful welcome drink. Special Thanks to Wrisha, Vikas and Klara for taking special care of us during our stay. The property was pristine and the food outstanding. This is by far one of the best hotels on Grand Cayman, highly recommend to stay here on your next visit! We can’t wait yo be back.
Absolutely the best service, service is better than any possible hotel in mainland U.S. and those Mexico (Cancun, Los Cabos, Mexico City) luxury hotel. Room is on the slightly smaller side and food is expensive, but this is probably the best IHG service (better than most city Intercontinentals) you could ever experience.
From the moment my wife and I arrived at this fantastic hotel we were treated as 'special' from Mia and the other ladies in reception to Reyah who had prepared everything in advance! She was a superstar. We booked a 2 night stay in an oceanfront suite, which was out of this world. It had everything you could want, and we have stayed in many 5* hotels around the World. As this was our 35th Anniversary and my wife's birthday they had also prepared the room with a welcome gift. The hotel has a light and airy, relaxed atmosphere in all areas. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us, but it did not stop us enjoying every moment of our stay. Everywhere was super clean and I could not fault one member of staff and their helpfulness and genuine interest, including Presanna in Valet. We ate in the Catalina Restaurant on one evening and the food was superb as were all the staff includng Khala and the Supervisor (think it was Rodney)? We will definitely be back to this little gem. Don't be put off by the 3* rating, you won't regret it. We originally booked the Ritz Carlton, then the Marriott as we couldn't decide, but are so glad we finally decided upon the Indigo.
I spent a week here to unwind before the holiday season and it was excellent. The staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful- from the front desk to housekeeping to the amazing team at Catalina. Room was clean and sleek. Loved the Bonny Moon beach club. As a solo traveler, I definitely felt comfortable in the neighborhood. Truly a gem, I look forward to returning!
My stay at Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman was absolutely incredible. From check in to check out, every single person I encountered was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind!! I would rate my experience 1000000 out of 10. I thoroughly enjoyed spending my Thanksgiving at this property. The pool staff, Vick and Ken, were amazing and made every day by the pool unforgettable. Chanze recommended great local spots such as Mango Tree and Heritage Kitchen. Chris was very helpful in explaining how to use the local bus. Angie had the most beautiful spirit, and Big Mac brought such positive energy that made everyone smile. I wish I could personally name every staff member because each interaction was exceptional. I will definitely be back. Thank you for creating a stay I will never forget!!!
Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The hotel was lovely, all staff so nice and the beach club was the best on the beach. Would recommend 100%. Beautiful pool area and beach setup.
Everything
Nothing
My teen daughter and I just spent 4 wonderful nights at the Indigo and loved it!! This was a perfect time to go- there were no crowds and the staff learned our names and we had our choice of pool and beach seating without having to rush down in the morning. The weather was perfect too. It was overall just an amazing trip for us and the Indigo was stunning. I only wish we had splurged on an ocean view room- the neighborhood view was really just a main road (noisy) so we did not use the balcony at all. The hotel also provides free snorkeling masks to borrow and pool noodle which we took with us for snorkeling further north on the Seven Mile Beach.
This hotel is understaffed and overpriced. Also, I do not expect to have a hollow mattress in a hotel in this price class.
We booked as a group for a number of birthday celebrations and i have to say the whole experience was amazing. Everyone we dealt with in planning and booking excursions before we came and also once we were here in resort was just off the charts wonderful. The hotel is new, incredible rooms, wonderful pools (including one for kids) and a very fun beach club (Bonny Moon) which is only 2 mins walk from hotel or they will take you down and back in a golf cart. When I needed some flexibility on dates due to the US Government shutdown they also obliged. There text concierge also replies within 2 mins without fail. I wish all hotels were like this. Shout out to Wrisha, MJ, Rebecca, Chanze and many others who made the experience go so well!!
We stayed at the Hotel Indigo for four days, three nights for a quick 25th anniversary trip, and it did not disappoint!! The staff is beyond helpful and solicitous; for example, Marie Grace surprised us with champagne and cake in the room for our anniversary, which was a lovely touch. The ocean view room was spacious, and the balcony was great for watching the sunset. We have vacationed in almost all the Caribbean islands, and Grand Cayman is by far the most expensive—Hotel Indigo provides A LOT of comparative value with the gorgeous pool and beach facilities, restaurants, personalized service, and accessibility to other restaurants along the unrivaled Seven Mile Beach. We also enjoyed the spa next door at the Kimpton, and the golf cart shuttle service is a plus (shout out to the great Lewandi, who kept us company while we waited for our cart!) We highly recommend Hotel Indigo for your Grand Cayman adventure!!!
I have been to Cayman several times but this was the best! Beautiful new hotel with gorgeous property, rooms and rooftop sunset bar. Decor is upscale and trendy with a fun atmosphere. Their Beach Club with drink and food service was amazing! To top it off, the staff is so incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful -they greeted us with smiles every day and it really made our visit special. We will definitely be coming back soon! Highly recommend!
The hotel is criminal. They sneak a $65 a night resort fee on your bill when you check out. This is criminal fraud. Nowhere is this charge disclosed to you beforehand. I will never return and I am filing a police report.
I truly had a wonderful time at Indigo, we'll be back! The food was very good, I ordered oatmeal that was presented beautifully and dinner at Catalina and PomPom were also great.
Big Mac and his staff at the Indigo were exceptionally kind to our family during what turned out to be a really scary time. We were visiting for a vacation to celebrate our kiddos’ birthdays in July 2025. We have status with IHG and had requested to be upgraded. Big Mac honored our request, placing us in a two queen, one bedroom suite. My kiddos were super excited, as were we. Upon arrival, the room had a light-up neon Happy Birthday sign, a thoughtful card, and some beautiful desserts for the kiddos. We were impressed. The room was lovely, large, clean, and very comfortable. Unfortunately, shortly after arrival, my 11-year-old fell ill. She was vomiting and feeling awful. My husband spoke to Big Mac about her illness at one point and urgent care recommendations at another. Long story short, my 11-year-old daughter ended up needing an emergency appendectomy in Grand Cayman. Needless to say, this was scary and completely unexpected. I stayed with my daughter at the hospital after her surgery. The surgery took place on my son’s actual 9th birthday. The following day or the day after (it all blends together, as it was such a stressful time), my daughter and I were finally able to head back to the hotel. Big Mac had a wheelchair waiting for her and allowed us to use it as needed. They even wheeled it up the day before we were leaving so that she didn’t have to walk too far. He checked in with my husband periodically to see how our kiddo was doing. He thoughtfully sent her up a beautiful fruit tray. As uncomfortable and sore as she was, that small gesture made her feel incredibly special. She was beaming from ear to ear. I asked about possibly buying a pillow for her, as she would be flying home in discomfort and would be laying across two seats. He personally provided one for her. Just fantastic hospitality. While this was not the fun trip we had planned, the kindness and genuine care we received from Big Mac and the entire Indigo staff made such a difference. I have never had any hotel staff in any position provide service at this level. You could tell that he personally cared about our kiddos’ wellbeing. This wasn’t just him doing a job. This was him being genuinely empathetic to our child and to us. We’re now planning a “do-over” birthday trip for July 2026, and despite everything that happened, my daughter (and the rest of us) can’t wait to return. Big Mac is an absolute gem, and we’ll always remember how he treated our family during one of the hardest times we’ve had. Thank you to Big Mac and the entire Hotel Indigo team for your exceptional hospitality, your warmth, and for just being so awesome. We appreciate you so much. See you in July.
Had an amazing experience. Clean pool and easy access to beach. Staff was nice esp Anthony server Catalina and Newton at the pool
The property is fine but my frequent stays are made enjoyable by the excellent service throughout the property with several exceptional team members . I must mention Newton at the pool who though constantly busy made me feel like I was the only guest in his care and Romy in the Catalina restaurant whose enthusiasm and professionalism was unmatched, her sincerity in ensuring a positive experience for her guests is a very rare thing anywhere in the world.
What a great experience. We traveled to the indigo for our 6 year wedding anniversary and all I can say is this hotel and team went above and beyond to make our experience special. Big shout out to Big Mac for providing us an upgraded room facing the ocean. Also I would like to acknowledge Willie, newton and Michael at the bata bar, the whole Catalina morning team especially Nico!! He remember our name and seating arrangements every morning. The front office Rebecca, Clara and Angelina for their excellent service. Definitely a memorable experience and hope to visit again.
The property is absolutely gorgeous and impeccably maintained. The same goes for the rooms. We stayed in a one-bedroom 2 beds room and had plenty of space to relax. The shower and toilet are separated, which was very convenient. We enjoyed breakfast at Catalina several mornings; the food was always fresh and . Pom Pom had a great ambiance with beautiful views. The pool is spacious, beautifully designed, with plenty of seating . The staff were incredible — friendly and attentive Cayman Islands are very expensive, especially since there is a big difference with out Canadian dollar. It’s definitely not a budget destination. That said, food and drink prices are high but the experience is worth it.
The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. They provide complimentary transportation to some of the excursions(like the turtle center). The beach is nearby with helpful staff like Dre to ensure you’re comfortable.
Not many food options near the hotel that you’re able to walk to. The restaurant on the property can be a bit expensive.
The hotel is fantastic. The guys at the pool made sure everything was taken care of. Special shoutout to Newton and Robbie. Stay safe during the storm. Hopefully it will Grand Cayman
Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman has a great location — only 10 minutes from the airport. Parking is very convenient: you can self-park or use the free valet service. One of the biggest perks of staying here — and a real money-saver — is that the hotel provides refillable glass water bottles in each room. On every floor, there are water stations with mineral and drinking water, as well as ice machines. You can refill as much as you want, which means you don’t have to spend anything extra on bottled water — a huge plus! The only downside is the beach access. It’s a short walk, but the path takes you through a public parking lot and over loose gravel. After rinsing off at the beach, small stones stick to your feet — not super comfortable. It also passes through public workout areas and doesn’t feel like a direct, resort-style route to the beach. If you’re a light sleeper, avoid booking rooms facing the “neighborhood” side — they overlook a busy road. The windows are decently insulated, but I still woke up to traffic noise every morning. Our room was #721. Inside the room: super clean, fresh linens, no odors, and great housekeeping. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the provided toiletries — good shampoo and conditioner (not the usual cheap hotel stuff!). Now a small tip: If you’re thinking of upgrading your room, do it at the time of booking. We tried to save a bit and upgrade on-site instead, since it was my husband’s birthday and we were traveling as a family of four. But the upgrade ended up being more expensive than expected, especially since this isn’t an all-inclusive resort. In the end, we didn’t change rooms — and I slightly regretted not upgrading earlier via Expedia. A few other downsides: • No good place to dry clothes after the pool. Guests end up hanging things off balconies, which doesn’t look great — and I even lost part of my swimsuit to the wind. • Minimal storage space in the room. No dresser or drawers in the nightstands. We had to call to get a luggage rack, and most of our things stayed in the suitcases. • You can hear hallway conversations clearly through the door in the mornings — so soundproofing on the entry side could be improved. • Very few lounge areas around the hotel. If you want to sit somewhere in the evening just to relax, there aren’t many options. There’s a small area with three hammocks, but it’s in a walkway and gets crowded quickly. We noticed many guests trying to find a place to sit and eventually just going back to their rooms. Even the on-site coffee shop is just a small corner with no seating — you have to grab your drink and walk away. It would be great if the hotel added more casual sitting areas where guests could just hang out, outside of the pool loungers. Still, I’m giving the hotel 5 stars. The building is well-maintained, it smells fresh and clean, staff are professional, and the food was tasty and fresh. You can even order room service. Would definitely return — just a few things to keep in mind when booking.
We spent 3 nights here on the back end of our week stay wish we would have stayed a few days more here. Pro’s 1. Staff was excellent 2. Pool area was large the hot tub at night was perfect 3. Roof top bar was spectacular 4. Boony Moon beach club was a short 5 min walk and they were first rate both for dinner and day service on the beach Con’s 1. 18 percent surcharge on all drinks and food ( I tip well but this irks me to be told and costs the servers in the end 2. There are not many other restaurants within walking distance outside of the Kimpton and Indigo all are excellent but it would be nice to have more options 3. Not on the beach but a short walk Overall a great stay and we will be back
Unforgettable Stay – Exceptional Service and Beautiful Beach! We had the best stay at Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make our vacation unforgettable. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and their attention to detail really stood out. A special shoutout to Paul, our valet, who truly made our stay extra special. He was incredibly kind, always greeted us with a smile, and gave the best local recommendations. He even made the golf cart rides to the beach a highlight of our trip! The food was absolutely amazing, and the service across the board was top-notch. The beach nearby is hands-down one of the most beautiful on the island. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Grand Cayman!
The property is the newest in the island and it shows. The grounds, the restaurants, and the rooms are immaculate. The level of friendliness and professionalism is exceptional. Not only in the hotel but in the whole island. I would recommend going on low season or shoulder season. We hear high season is very crowded. We had no problem walking into restaurants and getting a table. Everyone at the hotel knew our names by day two. I would def stay here again. Do not pass on this hotel. The only thing to note is that the hotel is a 3min walk to the beach. It’s not beach front.
Like going to my second home. Always feel welcomed.
First time in cayman comming for two nights only from the Middle East a very long trip Kuwait-Dubai-new York- cayman. I met Big Mac in the reception a very nice person he showed me around and we started comparing dubai vs cayman hotels quality and customer service I was surprised to see a hotel which is at dubai hotels level Which something not easy to find in this region. Big Mac spent almost 4 hours sowing me around and considering my long trip a got a room upgrade I was alone but that meant a lot and I really enjoyed my time. I have another trip to cayman to compete my business and for sure staying there again. My regards to Big Mac and indigo reception team for this very warm welcome.
