It didn’t feel like a plain, minimal hotel room at all—instead, you step into a cozy, character-filled studio where you can tell the owners truly cared about making your stay special. Every little detail was so well thought out, like the music CDs that even included some of our favorites. It’s not just about having the basics; the place is so full of soul and nice touches that you constantly want to look around and discover something new. The lighting was fantastic, with plenty of light sources—overhead, mid-level, wall lamps, and candles that made sitting on the terrace in the evening so lovely. There were also board games, books, and table tennis rackets for the table on site, plus everything necessary like dishes and towels. The location is super convenient, within walking distance of the caves and close to the zoo. We had a wonderful time here and highly recommend it!

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Rustige site net naast de rivier, op korte wandelafstand tot het centrum en grotten van Han. Toegang tot rustig zwembad van de site en mogelijk tot tafeltennis en petanque zijn leuke extra's.
Pittig trappenwerk tussen parkeerplaats en studio als je veel bagage bij hebt, maar dat kan je voorkomen als je voetgangersingang uit- en inlaad en niet vanaf de afgesloten parking.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Appartement agréable et bien entretenu. Bon emplacement pour visiter les grottes et le parc animalier ( à 10 minutes de marche). Belle piscine et joli parc bien entretenu. Proches des commerces. Parking sécurisé inclus. Très bon accueil de notre hôte Maud.
Emplacement du parking situé plusieurs niveaux au dessus de l’appartement. Pas facile à gérer avec de gros bagages et tous ces escaliers. Pensez à décharger vos bien personnels au niveau de l’accès piétons du parc.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026De locatie was top: in een klein en rustig dorpje. De supermarkt lag op een paar minuten van het complex. De eigenaresse was heel aardig. In de studio was alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt, inclusief een complete keuken. Er was ook een mooie tuin en een zwembad.

kleines Bad mit noch kleinerer Duschtür rauchen der Nachbarn auf ihrer Terrasse, so das der Qualm ins Studio zog es war sehr warm im Studio (keine Klimaanlage)

Ik had niet door dat de twee bedden in 1 ruimte stond (al kon je dit wel verwachten bij de benaming studio)

Le seul petit truc qui nous a manqué est un micro ondes. Tout s est bien passé grâce aux nombreux ustensiles de cuisine et à la plaque de cuisson. Une question d habitude sûrement :)

The whole experience of staying at the studio was wholesome, as the studio is equipped with all the necessities you need to spend time comfortably. Das Fliegengittet war defekt und rutschte nicht mehr über die Schiene. Terrassentür wurde mit einem Stück Holz gesichert.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Het warme welkom ,de zeer complete studio, klein maar van alle gemakken voorzien en de bedden. Geschikt voor langere mensen én comfortabel. Voor 2 volwassenen uitstekend te doen.
Dat er op de, overigens heerlijke, balkons gerookt mocht worden, dat is voor de niet rokers (wij) echt niet lekker als je ontspannen buiten zit.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026Au pied des grottes et du parc animalier cet appartement est très bien situé. Simple mais propre et fonctionnel tout y est et le petit mot gentil des propriétaires est appréciable. Lumineux et sans vis à vis la terrasse est un plus.
Peut-être l'absence de chaînes hertziennes sur la télé (même si ce n'est pas la priorité d'un séjour touristique) et juste faire attention à la température de l'eau chaude en cuisine qui pourrait occasionner des brûlures (mais ce n'est qu'un détail).

Il manque un micro-ondes. Les plaques, le four sont quelques peu démodés et lents. La température de la douche est très variable et difficile à régler correctement.

Reviewed Oct 14, 2025The studio is in a small estate with similar holiday accommodations on the river bank in the centre of the town. Several restaurants and the main attraction of the town (Han caves) are within a short walk's distance. The description of how to get the keys and how to get into the studio was very detailed and provided well in advance. Upon arrival we found a personalised welcome message in the studio, which was a nice gesture. The studio is well-equipped. The large sliding door that gives access to the spacious balcony has a large (also sliding) mosquito screen, which is perfect for keeping insects outside while enjoying the fresh air.
The smell of the air refresher used in the studio was quite overpowering, to the level of being disturbing. This should be less of a problem during the warmer season, when the door to the balcony can be opened widely. To get to the studio several flights of (exterior) stairs have to be descended and climbed again. This is something to keep in mind for people with reduced mobility or heavy/bulky luggage.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025Heel mooie en gezellige studio op wandelafstand van het centrum. Er ontbrak niets. Heel gezellig ingericht. Ook speelgoed aanwezig voor de kinderen. Ruime badkamer. Heel goede communicatie met de eigenaar. Er wordt ook aan pannekoeken ontbijt aangeboden en ze zijn lekker.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025Nous avions besoin d'un hébergement juste pour une nuit afin de nous rapprocher d'un évènement sportif le lendemain dans la région. La localisation était donc très bien pour nous. Le logement est petit mais convenait parfaitement à ce que nous avions besoin. Les hôtes sont réactifs, tout étaient super bien expliqué pour que nous arrivions facilement à bon port! Le studio était bien propre, rangé et très accueillant! Encore un grand merci pour ces attentions qui rendent le séjour plus agréable.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2025Durch eine Verwechslung erhielten wir einen falschen Schlüssel. Der korrekte Schlüssel wurde uns dann von der sehr freundlichen Maude ausgehändigt. Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr ruhig und für zwei Personen gut geeignet. Besonders gefallen hat uns die große Dachterrasse in südlicher Richtung mit schönem Blick auf den parkähnlichen Garten und die Lesse. Kostenfreier, gesicherter Parkplatz, gutes Wifi, großer Pool. Einkaufsmöglichkeit für Lebensmittel 5 Gehminuten entfernt.
Für uns war das Bett etwas zu weich. Die Dachterrasse ist möbliert, aber es gab keine Liegestühle.
