Great house in a great location near to bars and restaurants. Very spacious and good for one of our party who needed wheelchair access. Will definitely stay again.
We have stayed at Téach Cara 4 times now and love it. The house is perfect for a large family with everything you could possibly need (well maybe a teapot!)😊 Close to a beautiful beach and local shops, pubs and coffee shops. Very comfortable and clean. Lovely kitchen/dining area too, with an enclosed garden and patio area.
Nice house,blood location
Very good location within walking distance of village.
Blackout blinds needed in bedrooms
Beautiful spacious property, spotless clean and everything you could need, air fryer microwave washing machine & dryer. Walking distance to take aways pubs and shops
Beautiful house. I especially liked how well stocked it was with regards to things that we needed. The property was also in a really good location. Beautiful views in the morning from the backyard. My group had loads of fun in there and especially sitting around that fireplace.
No complaints at all
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Téach Cara and it never disappoints. Lovely, clean , tidy, spacious house which accommodates our large family. Easy walking distance to shops and pubs. Very nice takeaways nearby too and a nice walk to a beautiful beach. Darren the host is always quick with his responses too. Would highly recommend.
The heating can only be pushed on for up to 2 hours. You can’t program it to come on in the mornings. Also more toilet roll would be appreciated.
Spacious, clean and good location.
The heat can only be put on for 2 hours at a time so you can't schedule it to come on in the morning and you have to remember to hit the boost button.
Had every thing we meeded
Everything was Perfect
We really enjoyed our stay in Teach Cara. Beds were really comfortable and facilities excellent. Lovely village and beautiful beach. We would definitely stay again.
Great Location/ well equipped / comfortable
these are the things we found when we arrived at our accommodation. A bucket of cleaning material in the hall way, a folded towel on the stairs. In the kitchen there was a bottle of cleaning fluids on the surface, the dishwasher was full but not clean. There was no dishwasher salt and the dishwasher salt warning light was on. The dishwasher was loaded but not washed - which led to finding no cups and two calls to our host who was in California !! Two of the bedrooms needed their floor cleaned. The toilet seat was broken which was fixed on Monday. There was a clump of hair in the ensuite. It did not seem as clean as it could have been. The impression we had was that the last guest left the accommodation in a reasonable clean state but it had not been cleaned thoroughly before we arrived. I trust this is helpful ?. I do want to say the accommodation has been comfortable and is well equipped and we were happy to be here. Thank you for sorting it for us.
The house was in a great location as we were attending a family wedding in Redcastle. We enjoyed the space 6 adults 2 kids and our small dog. Local beach 20 mins walk, village has shop, pub, restaurant, chip van, pizza. Great base for sightseeing.
Missing a few towel hooks on doors. And shelves in shower for your stuff while showering. Could do with a better clean.
Location was perfect for the purpose lovely spacious house and very clean
The room at the top of the stairs to the left with the double bed people in that bed didn't find the mattress very comfortable and the lock in the main bathroom upstairs want working
Spacious , clean
Not enough crockery for the amount of people that can stay in the house No cleaning agents (only a bottle of bleach!)
Clean and tidy
Too far away from beach
Just perfect for our family. Great location, great property with very efficient communication from the host. Definitely would recommend and stay again 👌
Nothing really, garden could do with a little tidy but given there was a massive storm just weeks before it’s to be expected.
Proprietor located my phone that I left behind and posted it to me the same day, which I was very appreciative of. Thanks Darren!
Couldn't fault the property, beautiful inside and very clean! Host was excellent too☺️
Perfect!
Very clean, perfect location
Perfect location within walking distance to shop, pub and beach. House had everything you would ever need. Plenty of space for a big family
Great location, property was clean and nice layout downstairs. Walking distance to several bars and restaurant.
The toilet seat was broken in the downstairs loo and the cold water tap didn’t work here either. Generally there appeared to be plumbing issues with very poor water pressure in both showers and the hot water tap not functioning at all in the en-suite and the toilet took forever to refill here too. When the heating was on the heaters upstairs, particularly in the en-suite bathroom were very noisy with a lot of air in the system. I would also suggest an upgrade of some of the pans, particularly the frying pans.
Spacious house for family break. Good facilities. Host very helpful.
Nothing, all great
Very clean and comfortable with excellent space. Close to the town also
The early check out and the rules posted all over the house
Location was excellent
Culdaff is a beautiful location with friendly locals and a great base to explore Donegal. Darren was a great host and the house suited our needs as a family of five. The house is in a very quiet estate with considerate neighbours. Very close to the most amazing beach. Highly recommend the pizza shop across the road for food.
Personal preference, but I would prefer blackout blinds/curtain in master bedroom. With street light outside it was hard to sleep.
Very Clean, fresh and great location for exploring Inishowen.
Freezer/Fridge not plugged in so better to keep it chilled at all times.
Darren was quick to respond and answer any questions. House was very well equipped and very comfortable and spacious .Will definitely be back again.
Nothing.
