There was a complete miscommunication about the possibility to store my luggage for a couple of hours after my check out. I was relying on this and then last minute I had to change plans and take my suitcase to an important business meeting. I was asking about this possibility before and this is why I am disappointed!

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Location and cleanness. They have the structure to offer a great experience, but service needs to improve.
Service did not match expectations. Although we booked for 2 people, everything in the room was arranged for 1 person only (including the towels, pillow and bedsheets). It was very annoying and I had to get in touch at least three times in 24 hours to finally get towels, pillow and bedsheets. The next day, they said they would leave it in the rrom, but nobody provided them to us, and when we arrived in the evening, it took me at least 40 minutes to solve it via Whatsapp.

No staff available. I do miss a reception desk, some to smile too, or at least a number to call in case you need new towels or whatnot.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Konnten unsere Fahhräder in der Garage in einem Fahrradkäfig abstellen. Nach Rücksprache konnten wir das Zimmer früher beziehen. Lage ideal. Auf unsere Fragen via WhatsApp bekamen wir rasche Rückmeldung, hat gut geklappt.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Wer das Volkswagen Stiftung Museum besuchen will oder in die Autostadt wohnt dort sehr zentral und kann eigentlich zu Fuß beide Orte erreichen. Sehr modernes Appartement mit Self-Service Check in und Check out. Für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt hat es perfekt gepasst. Zimmer mit Aussicht auf das Volkswagen-Werk. Trotzdem eine ruhige Gegend.

I was there for 2 weeks. Saw 1 host throughout the entire stay. They forgot to leave towels for 2 people. They forgot to give pillows for 2 people. They left us the dishwasher soap empty. The toilet paper ended and no one gave us a new one for 1 week. Tried to contact them and not only took hours to get a reply but also nothing changed

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Auto kon onder de accomodaties gezet worden, tegen betaling. Ondanks het zelf inchecken (wat heel simpel was) bleek er wel iemand aanwezig te zijn, die ons prima hielp.
Ruim, schoon, kids hadden hun eigen appartement tegenover ons, zodoende konden we lekker met ze 4e eten op een van de kamers.

Tight entrance and exit from the underground garage. I was on the 4 th floor. Apartments on level 3 have got balcony or terrace and all the cigarettes smoke was coming into my room.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Hatte einen schönen Aufenthalt, Die Räumlichkeit ist ansprechend und für einen Arbeitsaufenthalt bei VW- WOB sehr zu empfehlen. Die Stadt ist fußläufig super zu erreichen.
OK, das parken ist extrem. die Einfahrt und Ausfahrt ist extrem eng. Wir hatten einen Mittelklasse- Kombi (BMW 3) dabei, das ging noch war aber Stress um in die Tiefgarage zu kommen. das ist heute nicht zeitgemäß und muss beachtet werden! Auch die Parkbuchten sind sehr eng!

Reviewed May 27, 2026A step into the future in this amazing innovative and clean space. Many places across Europe have self-check-in and similar things but this place had thought of everything. Upon arrival you check in on a screen, and it spits out your key card in a cute little cart. Upon entry there is a loft/lounge area equipped with a kitchen, sitting area, dining area and more. They have a very well stocked fridge with many drinks from water to wine and more as well as a nice selection of snacks you can enjoy. Everything is on the honor system with a touch screen payment port. The rooms are huge and the bed was extremely comfortable and most important, everything was clean! The room was well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen area as well as a great living area as well as a dining area with all of the creature comforts you need. Laundry on site is all done through and app and it lets you reserve your machine and updates you on its progress, so you know when its ready. We encountered a very nice guy and his adorable dog who was working there, and he gave us all sorts of important information that was helpful as we didn't know there was a holiday the next day and this saved the trip as we adjusted a few things. He was even kind enough to give us a late check out so we could properly enjoy the Volkswagen museums the next day, Thank you for that!
I enjoyed everything about the place.

Reviewed May 16, 2026Tolles Konzept mit unkomplizierter und schneller Kommunikation mit den Hosts/Gastgebern; sehr gut gelegen; Größe des Zimmers toll für zwei Personen (Kategorie Deluxe/Bigger); Zimmer zweckmäßig, aber nicht wohnlich; Check-In und Check-Out komplett automatisiert und somit jederzeit möglich; kleiner Snack- und Getränke-Pick-Up mit elektronischer Zahlung im Eingangsbereich; der Host hat unkompliziert auf ein kleineres Problem reagiert. Eher ein Ort zum unkomplizierten Übernachten beim Besuch der Autostadt oder wenn man einen Termin hat. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist - trotz der kleineren Abzüge - natürlich unschlagbar und absolut angemessen.
Zimmer sehr hellhörig (sowohl die Fenster als auch das Haus an sich - wenn der Nachbar die Stühle über den Boden schiebt oder rumläuft, ist dies Durlach zu hören), daher liegen schon Ohrstöpsel parat; die Sauberkeit hätte besser sein können (Flecken und Fingerabdrücke an den Schränken, Türen und Fenstern sowie Geschirr vom Vormieter nicht komplett gereinigt, staubiges Regal und Fensterbrett, Wachsflecken an einem Wandpaneel).

Geruch im Zimmer muffelig, Fenster lässt sich nicht öffnen. Garagenzufahrt ist schrecklich mit grösseren Autos. Darauf bitte hinweisen. Etwas unpersönlich und Licht unpraktisch, um auszuschalten, muss ich aus dem Bett raus.
