Unica cosa che consiglio è un cestino in bagno e le tende in salone per poter avere privacy.

Few things that could be solved, like getting more pans and pots for cooking (some of the pans were not usable). The owner's request to take the rubbish out, put dishwasher and take off the dirty linen prior leaving was a bit disappointing..

Essendo un piano terra, manca insonorizzazione da appartamenti superiori e per entrambe le notti abbiamo sentito i passi fino all'una di notte. Le stanze, che sono tutte sul retro, di fatto non hanno illuminazione. Dalle foto su Booking sembrava ci fosse un terrazzo mentre era un piano terra.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026The location in Å was great. An easy walk to the village. The apartment has a beautiful view of the harbor. The apartment had plenty of space and had a well stocked kitchen for cooking. We had been on the road for 27 hours and arrived to find the televsion on with relaxing music and fire scene playing. Great touch!

When I contacted him directly, he explained that although Booking.com had confirmed our reservation for the penthouse apartment, it had already been booked. Unfortunately, by the time I learned this, it was too late to make alternative arrangements, as other properties in the area were no longer available.
Booking.com misled us by confirming our reservation for a penthouse apartment. We had another option that was in a better location and offered better value, but we chose the penthouse because it appeared to be the superior property, even though it was more expensive. We were given a ground-floor apartment instead. It had virtually no view from any of the bedroom windows, which was completely different from what we had booked and expected. This was Booking.com’s mistake. By the time we discovered the problem, it was too late to find alternative accommodation, so we had no choice but to stay there.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026强烈推荐这套美妙的房子！地理位置极佳，步行5分钟即可到达A镇。窗外视野开阔，能同时看到特色红房子和无敌海景。特别惊艳的是午夜12点的窗外景色，有一种难以言喻的不真实的美。房间面积很大，设施非常齐全，甚至配有洗衣机，对家庭出行来说简直太方便了。房东Holger必须点赞，超级热情友善，沟通顺畅且有求必应。我们全家都非常喜欢这里，已经把它列入心愿清单，期待未来有机会再来追极光！

Al llegar, el lavavajillas estaba lleno, sucio y maloliente. Además, una de las habitaciones no tenía la cama hecha. Adicionalmente, el segundo día entraron sin nuestro permiso a la vivienda, dejando restos de bebida. Cuando se lo comunicamos al dueño, nos indicó que era un error de la empresa de limpieza, no asumiendo su responsabilidad

Reviewed Feb 13, 2026This apartment is the best of my 20days trip in Norway. It has everything, wash ler with dryer, dish washing machine, hugh kitchen. I was looking forward to see the aurora from the apartment but the weather during my 3 nights stay was bad.
Only the toilet flooring was too smooth and marble-like. Hope the owner can provide a floor towel so that can dry the water when stepping out of shower.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2025Logement propre confortable et très bien équipé, nous n'aurons pas pu rêver mieux. Boulangerie et village a pied, aurores boréales aperçues en face de la maison. Hote très réactif et d'une aide précieuse pour les balades et les aurores. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Nous reviendrons si on repasse dans les lofoten.
Absolument rien tout était parfait.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2025La ubicació de la casa és excepcional, et permet anar a peu a visitar A des de l'apartament. Per dues parelles està molt bé amb dues habitacions molt maques i espaioses.
Una de les habitacions, si viatgen tres parelles és força més petita i més vella. D'aquesta habitació no surt cap foto a les imatges mostrades quan vols reservar l'apartament. A part no funcionava el llum d'aquesta habitació i el sofà del menjador tenia una pota trencada. Pel que fa a l'aparcament, quan vam arribar, hi havia un cotxe a cada banda de la casa pel que no vam poder aparcar al costat de l'apartament. Pel que fa al preu, comparat amb altres allotjaments de Noruega, era força més car, suposo que pagues per la ubicació excepcional. En resum, l'apartament està molt bé, però no és de 10 si viatgen tres parelles.

The upstairs apartments were also rented out to tourists. A couple of nights there were hosts that came home very late and we could hear footsteps even until 1 in the night (soundproofing can be improved)

L’accès à la place de parking n’est pas simple, la pente est très raide, nous nous sommes garés plus loin. Un sèche linge serait un vrai plus, nous avons utilisé la machine à laver mais notre linge n’a pas eu le tps de sécher en une nuit sur l’étendoir.

When we arrived, the entire building was snowed in - we could not park our car, and the entrance to the front door was completely covered, which was extremely inconvenient with our suitcases and dangerous because we had no idea where we could put our feet. No effort was made to clean this during our stay, not even after informing the owner. Once inside, the apartment was very cold (thermometer indicated 7 degrees). This hardly improved during our stay. The apartment had not been fully cleaned (lots of stains everywhere, balls of hair, etc.) and the building could do with some maintenance. The smoke alarm was beeping, as the batteries had run out. The fridge (which was also not clean) was empty, no welcoming gesture in any way. We had to make our own beds. We informed the owner of all these issues and his suggestion was that we wait while the cleaners (who happened to be on the premises for another apartment) do it again, and that we allow an electrician to come as well for the heating. We were exhausted and hungry after a long journey and did not want to spend our short stay accomodating for work that should have been done before our arrival. For that reason, we were not offered any compensation, which we found extremely disappointing. It is very clear that here, you are not a valued guest, but a burden that is tolerated because you pay.

The host Holgor is considerate and easy to communicate with. It’s located in the central of A, easy access to some spectacular view points. We had a very pleasant stay, just wish to stay longer. Last but not least, we saw the aurora lights luckily from the terrace!
