Le petit-déjeuner était tout simplement parfait, varié et de grande qualité. Le point fort reste sans aucun doute le dîner en groupe organisé dans un espace privé avec les autres clients de l'hôtel. C'était une occasion formidable de partager un moment convivial. La nourriture, les plats et le vin : tout était absolument parfait. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel !

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Een perfecte plek om te overnachten op weg naar onze camping in Frankrijk. We zijn zeer vriendelijk ontvangen en Thuin is een erg schattig dorpje. Tip: de Beffroi in het centrum beklimmen! Mijn dochter (5 jaar) vond vooral het stapelbed erg leuk. Ook een zeer comfortable, grote douche en aparte toilet, plus achtertuin waar je in mocht zitten.
Het ontbijt viel ons voor €8,- p.p. een beetje tegen, we hadden iets meer verwacht dan een paar boterhammen, wat beleg en een pakje sinaasappelsap. Verder zijn we heel tevreden.

We hebben ontbijt en avond eten genomen. Dit mocht wat meer zijn geweest. Ontbijt was beperkt. Enkel brood, geen yoghurt of op zondag een pistoletje.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Pour qui recherche un grand calme, le lieu est au top. Il conviendra également à celui/celle qui veut randonner. Les hôtes proposent de partager leur table et je conseille cette option car monsieur excelle aux fourneaux (l'accompagnement poireaux/pommes fruits/pâtes/crème qui m'a été servi avec une viande blanche était parfait et copieux). La salle de bain partagée n'est pas un souci puisqu'il n'y a que trois chambres. Aucun souci pour stationner.

Maybe, indicate it better the location of the place with some sign at the beginning and at the end of the street. Apart from that, I don't have any other complain.

Kein TV - keine Möglichkeit Abendessen zu buchen - Frühstück überteuert - man darf das Haus nicht mit Schuhen betreten - also musste ich auf Socken eine steile Holztreppe hochkraxeln - kein Kleiderschrank

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Sehr schöne ruhige Lage, etwas außerhalb von der Stadt. Gemütliches Zimmer, modernes sauberes Gemeinschaftsbad. Anne und Jean Christophe sind äußerst nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Jean Christophe konnte sich auch fließend auf Englisch unterhalten. Mein Rad konnte sicher im Stall untergebracht werden. Zu Abend wurde lecker gemeinsam am Tisch gegessen, das Frühstück war einfach (frisches Brot, Käse, Schinken, selbstgemachte Marmeladen etc) und sehr lecker.

Niets Let op : dicht bij manege (hooi en paarden - allergie) Let op : als je van het centrum van Thuin komt, neem dan met de fiets niet de minst steile weg via de Passerelle (zoals Google maps aanraadt). Volg de hoofdweg.

Designed to offer inexpensive accommodation to walkers and cyclists it manages beautifully and one gets a comfortable stay as well as an even better conversation and experience if you choose to join the family for dinner - which was generous and better than many restaurant meals I've had hereabouts. The bathroom is shared as you'd expect at the price. The location is good for visiting Thuin, Aulne and other pretty places in this attractive area, even if you're not walking/cycling.
