Märch - Mechelen Goat 6

Mooie ligging midden in het centrum, ruim appartement en van alle gemakken voorzien.

De locatie midden in het centrum

De afvoer van de douche liep niet door

Smooth check-in procedure & communication with the owner. Excellent location, close to shops and restaurants. The apartment is spacious with lots of light and a good layout.

I liked everything! I’ve a few suggestions though: •a bin in the bathroom •a towel hook in the toilet •more cupboard space for clothing •*a change of linen & towels for longer stay* • fix the broken bathroom heater •fix the door of the apartment, and the front door of the building •the sofa upholstery can do with a wash/clean.

Elegante appartamento

Mancava il sapone liquidò in bagno

Todo estuve bien

Todo bien gracias por la estancia

Good location, comfortable apartment.

We stayed for 2 weeks but we only got supplies for 2 days. The apartment doesn't get cleaned at all. We didn't get new towels or dishwashing tablets so we had to buy those ourselves, there is also no way to wash any clothes or towels available at the location. There is no way to sort the trash, they don't provide bags for the trash bins unless asked and even then it was as if we were asking too much. The staff that came to bring the new bags barely spoke any Dutch or English. The freedom of being able to cook your own food is nice, but without cleaning amenities it becomes a problem rather quickly. The shared staircase also got rather dirty while we were there. There was a vacuum cleaner but it didn't really function properly, resulting in a floor that was not very clean towards the end of the stay. The dishwasher doesn't open properly unless you pull out the bottom of the cabinet it is in. As others have mentioned, there are no curtains for the living room so there isn't a lot of privacy. It all looks very nice and modern but the service can use some work, it's like the minimum effort is put in to clean it before the stay but after that you're on your own.

Só deveriam colocar uma cortina na sala para aumentar a privacidade dos hóspedes

The apartment has no privacy, the windows are uncovered. The neighbors across the street can see you because there is no curtain to cover the windows. I chose one apartment and they put me in another.

We loved it! Stylish and cozy and in the Centre of Mechelen. Great!

Everything was fine

Location

There were no plates in the apartment

Perfect central location to explore Mechelen. The appartment was clean and spacious. Coffe and tea was provided, basic spices also available. Outside space is a great add, Overall great appartment in a great location, many small details added, like additional blanket or toiletry (shampon, shower gel) that made our stay more comfortable. Thank you!

Appartement is minder geschikt voor mensen, die minder goed ter been zijn. Geen leuningen aan de trappen. Trappen vrij steil. Appartement is licht, veel ramen en voorzien van veel brstek en servies.

Zentral

Komfort eingeschränkt, Eingangstür beschädigt, Abnutzungserscheinungen in der Wohnung

Great location, spacious

De locatie in het centrum. Ruime appartement met afzonderlijke slaapkamers met eigen douche

Geluidsoverlast van bovenste etage in de nacht

Propre, spacieux.... TOP de chez TOP

1. it was 6 extremely narrow stairs up !! With my big travel bag and my handicap almost impossible to do ! And the elevator, not working ? No, there IS NO elevator. Why does their booking.com page not mention this ??? I would never have taken it ! 2. It was an OVEN ! The whole week was so hot with that big top-to-floor window and full sun on it, it was unbearable. I was unable to do any work on my laptop so I had to pay for another place to stay there. I ended up booking ADDITIONALLY in NH Hotel several days to sleep some of the nights a bit. 3. I tried to contact them 4 times via booking.com chat, so I have a trace of our conversations, but the DAMN booking.com site was down the whole day. 4. The coffee machine broke. I finally found a whatsapp number of them, and contacted them directly for a repair. They said it would take time. I suggested I buy the same I saw it for 90€ in Coolblue and they agreed to pay me back. After I did so and sent the picture of the machine and the Coolblue link, then someone else of their company contacted me and refused to pay back. What a disappointment they are. I still left both old and new machine in the place for the next one coming after me. 5. One day later, I tried AGAIN via booking.com. The damn booking.com site was again the whole day down !!! 6. On my last day I needed to leave later (I can’t do this travel logistics in the morning due to my handicap). I asked them if I could do so and they bluntly refused. Only when I was back home I discovered that I had already paid them the extra day at booking time (my memory no more so sharp, I had forgotten). Booking.com’s terrible IT - far below acceptable uptime, hanging interface, overcomplicated buggy authentication - worsened things even more. They seem to compete for “most customer-hating IT department of the year”. Conclusion: stingy people, hiding important defects, total lack of empathy. Never going there again. Booking.com: what a disappointment.

Nothing , it was up three flights of steep stairs , tatty ,holes in walls , bad smell of drains , dirty toilet , stained sofa , dirt on skirting board , windows were filthy . Nothing positive about property . Could not stay there had to find other accommodation.

Location couldn’t be better. Nice and modern spacious and clean

Bins under stairs at entrance very smelly

I found the staircase without handrails challenging. Next time I would choose a different accomodation, even tough I liked the flat and location.

Very Central location Quietness Clean apartment Well equipped kitchen Large and nice shower and basin Comfortable bed and sofa Large tv with Netflix and Disney plus (no normal te channels) Large windows

Steep stairs Bad smell (frying oil??) in the stairs and coming in from the living room window Not completely blinding curtains in the bedroom Small single use soap plastic bottles (polluting)

Location and brightness…

Strange smell and leaky radiator

- Very modern and spacious flat - With all amenities needed - Right in the centre of Mechelen - Suitable for longer stays

- No lift (as expected) - The stairs are very narrow (as not expected) and it is a challenge to bring luggage and baby stroller inside. - Noisy neighbours

Clean and roomy. Excellent location. Quiet.

For a long stay (2 weeks) the amenities (toweks, soap, garbage, cleaning) was a bit minimal. The rooms were on the third floor without elevator via a narrow and steep staircase.

Perfect apartement

Alles was goed

Very clean, smart and plenty of room . Excellent price, very quiet and comfortable.

Nothing!

All of it

Noise on top floor

Quick respond of the host in case of questions. Nice appartment, very comfortable bed.

The location is super. The centre of the city. Within walking distance to both stations of Mechelen. Very convenient transport links to Brussels, Antwerp, etc. The apartment is equipped with everything you need to stay for any period. Good heating system.

There was no washing machine. I had to buy soap, toilet paper (I found 1.5 rolls) and garbage bags (I found 1 in a bucket)
