The room is on the 3rd floor, so we struggled with our luggage. Some of the facilities were not readily available.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2026The unit was self catering. It was tidy and the bed was amazing to sleep on. Soft and comfortable. It was a very nice unit to stay in.
We had to phone the owner to buy electricity because the first day we arrived the electricity ran out during the night. The other downside was that it was on the 3rd floor.

It didn't provide a heater, it's winter so it would have been nice to have a heater in the apartment to keep us extra warm.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2026The location, the property, the furnishings, the host, everything listed was as is and more. I cannot fault the property. It was money well spent. This is my go-to place in Kimberley. The host Natasha was extra helpful from the pre-arrival communication to the post departure communication. She did a sterling job, and she does not tire to communicate and extra responsive. Impressive Thanks Natasha. I had to use the Airport in and out of Kimberley during my stay and it was +-10 minutes. There was no water on the property. We were told, only on arrival. The Unit is on the Second floor and it was difficult to carry our stuff up the stairs. There was no table or chairs for us to eat.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2024Everything was as described and more. The pictures don't make justice to the apartment when viewed with the naked eye. We will most definitely be booking in the near future again for a whole weekend preferably. The hosts were very attentive and hands on, there is absolutely nothing about the facility that I can speak bad about. Keep on operating within this field of business you'll surely have a whole lot of happy cutomers.
Nothing bad comes to mind when remembering of our stay at the Palms, just thankful that we were received and sended of with such warmth.

No hot water on morning of departure, freezer was dirty, floors not clean, found hair in bath, bedside lamps faulty (no batteries in them) no patio furniture. Apartment situated next to a very busy road so lots of noise pollution.
