Great location (we biked from the train station), kindest host who responded quickly, very clean, lovely complete breakfast, and what's not to love about being on the water?

I'm a bit of a restless sleeper so that's on me, but if you move the mattress tends to move with you :-)

No better way to feel at home in the Netherlands than to stay on a boat on a canal. Thank you Norbert for the opportunity and the warm welcome you gave us. The Kingfisher, the Beaver and the ducks added to our unforgettable stay. Our 4 nights went by in a flash…like the blue streak of the kingfisher.

Leuke plek met een goed bed vlakbij het centrum. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Wij hadden ov fietsen gehuurd en het is een leuke korte fietstocht langs het water van de woonboot naar het centrum. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Leuk ontvangst van de eigenaar, heerlijk en goed gevulde keuken voor het ontbijt en als je iets te kort komt dan regeld hij dat. Wij hebben zelfs met het mooie weer zijn bootje mogen lenen.

De woonark was gezellig gelegen aan het water. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid naast de woonark. Met de fiets binnen 5 minuten in het centrum van Zwolle. De host was zeer gastvrij en stond voor je klaar. Koelkast was gevuld met o tijd voor de volgende dag en werd aangevuld. Heerlijke airco was absoluut noodzakelijk. Het was snikheet die dag.

We hebben niets gevonden wat echt beter kan. Gewoon prima.

Rigtig hyggeligt sted og virkelig sød vært. Vi kommer meget gerne igen. Nemt at parkere bilen og i okay gå-afstand til byen.

Our stay was wonderful! The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice to live for 2 days on a house boat. The host also gave us his electric vot so we could see the canals of Zwolle. Recommended!

Sehr freundlicher und empathischer Vermieter, Frühstück sehr gut (große Auswahl), Unterkunft gut gelegen (direkt am Kanal), kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit vorhanden. Komfortable Unterkunft.

Lage sehr zentral! Besitzer sehr zuvorkommend, kümmert sich um alles was das Herz begehrt! Tolles Frühstück! Wir konnten sogar ein Boot nutzen!

Gemütliches Apartment auf einem Hausboot mit kleiner Terrasse, das perfekt ist für ein Wochenende in Zwolle. Norbert ist ein sympathischer und sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber, dem ein toller Aufenthalt seiner Gäste wirklich wichtig ist. Für gutes Frühstück ist gesorgt, das du bei gutem Wetter auf der Terrasse am Wasser genießen kannst. Das Zentrum von Zwolle erreichst du in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß - oder mit dem Boot, das uns Norbert geliehen hat. Pluspunkt ist auch der kostenfreie Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hausboot. Alles in allem: Klare Empfehlung, wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke, Norbert, für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Het ontbijt was prima, zeer schoon, goed bed, heerlijk warm water, met veel handdoeken. Zeer groenrijke omgeving, dicht bij het centrum op loopafstand. Goede parkeer mogelijkheden met een laadpaal

Norbert fue muy amable en todo momento y estuvo pendiente de nosotras. El desayuno para los dos días muy completo. La ubicación del barco es original y una zona muy tranquila sin ruido.

Mejoraría el colchón, el agua caliente de la ducha (salía poco caliente) y añadiría un microondas o un fuego de inducción portátil, ya que encontré a faltar eso para prepararme la cena (hacía tanto frío que no apetecía ir a buscar un restaurante). Tuvimos que comer frío.

De kamer was ontzettend vies. Overal spinnenrag en dode vliegjes. De lakens waren muf en vochtig en de accommodatie was tochtig en koud. We zijn na 2 dagen weggegaan en hebben een andere accommodatie geboekt. Het was te vies en koud. Hier heb ik de eigenaar over gemaild en om een restitutie verzocht. Hier is geen enkele reactie op gekomen.

Der Bootsherr hat sogar vorher gefragt, was wir zum Frühstück möchten. Er hat reichlich Nachschub gebracht. Ein plötzlich aufgetretenes Problem mit dem Warmwasser hat er sofort bestens gelöst. Er ist sooo nett und freundlich. Macht Spaß, dort zu wohnen. Sehr ruhige Lage, parken kein Problem. Alles bestens, lediglich die Matratzen könnten besser sein. Gerne wiederholen wir diesen Kutzurlaub!

Leuk uitzicht over het water. Locatie net buiten het centrum, leuk wandelpad langs het water om het centrum te bereiken. Super aardige eigenaar. Sanitair, vloer, keuken en bedden waren goed schoon. Prima ontbijt en de eigenaar had speciaal vegetarisch beleg gehaald.

Er waren een paar kleine dingetjes kapot, zoals de klink van de badkamer, maar dat zou hij gaan repareren. De föhn was te vies om aan te raken. Locatie is minder mooi dan gedacht, maar in de zomer zal het veel groener zijn. De topper van het bed was een klein beetje bobbelig.

Er viel niets tegen. Alles was perfect.

Ik ben super vriendelijk en enthousiast ontvangen bij aankomst. En qua ontbijt was alles wat ik te wensen had klaar gezet. Het is een mooie kamer met mooi uitzicht!

We werden heel enthousiast en hartelijk ontvangen door de host, en als we iets nodig hadden, kon alles geregeld worden (inclusief bootje, vuurkorf, ...), top! Ontbijt was prima! De ruimte was van alle gemakken voorzien, het was knus en zeker als je van wandelen houdt: 20 minuten naar de stad, fijn langs het water.

We hadden er zelf geen last van, maar de ventilatie werkt niet optimaal. Hierdoor besloegen de ramen snel, zeker als er gedoucht was. Vooral bij de schuifpui was het vochtig. Het was een beetje gehorig, maar dat hoort misschien ook bij woonboten. Persoonlijk vond ik de kussens wat slap. En we hadden ruzie met het koffiezetapparaat, maar dat kan ook aan ons gelegen hebben :).

Mooie plek, ca 20 minuten lopen vanaf het centrum met een leuk park om de hoek. Genoten van het uitzicht op het water. Ontbijt en faciliteiten helemaal prima. Aardige en betrokken gastheer.

Netjes en schoon, heel geriefelijk

Heerlijk rustig plekje, en toch op korte afstand van het centrum van Zwolle. De accommodatie is compact maar van alle gemakken voorzien: een goed bed, een fijn bad, een kleine pantry en een koelkast met alles wat je nodig hebt voor het ontbijt. Norbert is een supergastvrije host en heeft alles uitstekend verzorgd. We hadden geluk dat het bootje beschikbaar was én dat het een prachtige herfstdag was, waardoor we hebben genoten van een ontspannen tochtje door de Zwolse grachten. We hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf!

Zeer leuk ontvangen en uitleg gekregen. Accommodatie ziet er tip top verzorgd uit. Ontbijt compleet met brood, kaas, vleeswaren, gekookt ei, fruit en er waren zeker 6 heerlijke biologische theesoorten, naast koffie. Perfecte locatie om de binnenstad van Zwolle te verkennen. Hopen zeker weer te komen.

Sleeping on a boat is a wonderful experiance. We had a great time and we really hope to come back soon. You can see the water from the big windows. It is very peacefull. The bedroom is very big and there is a bath tub.

The breakfast was a typical "continental Breakfast" with Brown and white bread, cheeses and ham, plus fresh fruit. A coffee machine with capsules along with full fat and half fat milk, allowing the guest to make up a more than adequate breakfast.

The location and the most amazing breakfast!! Plus Norbert was always offering more food and any information we needed. He even picked us up from the train station and dropped us off. A great stay.

De accomodatie was op zich prima. We zijn vloerverwarming gewend en dan merk je gelijk wat een luxe dat is. Op sokken lopen was te koud. Het bed was prima en de ruimte ook. Voldoende verlichting en goed zitje.

We vonden het jammer dat we niet vers brood hadden, maar gelukkig was er een broodrooster.

Bijzonder om op het water te zijn, mooie plek met goede verzorging. Leuke tuin, ook als het regent.

Heerlijke plek aan het water, een heel welkom gevoel door de supervriendelijke eigenaar, lekker ontbijtje in alle rust met uitzicht op het water. Fijne bedden. We hebben een heel mooi tochtje rondom Zwolle gevaren met het bootje. Superleuk allemaal!

De spinnen, maar die kon de papegaai van de eigenaar komen opeten. 😅

The property was very nice located, the host was very nice and we had a nice breakfast for some days. Also the host always checked with us in case we needed anything, which I found nice. The fact that the property was dog friendly was a very nice addition. Also the host offered us the possibility to use a motorised boat during our stay, which is a nice thing and even if we did not do it, I think it’s a must to do while you stay there. Maybe we will come back at some point and benefit from this facility.

There were spiders almost everywhere in the accommodation, we killed some on the walls (sorry about the mess, but it was more comfortable to kill them instead of staying there in fear). I think a little bit of more attention related to the cleanliness of the accommodation would be appreciated. I also would say that I would have appreciated more white sheets (it gives me the feeling that the sheets are cleaner), but that’s just my preference.

Allereerst de hele vriendelijke ontvangst,ik was 1h te vroeg,maar dat was totaal geen probleem, de gastheer heeft benadrukt dat ik het maar moest zeggen als ik ietsje tekort kwam; het ontbijt....alles op en aan en heel lekker,je kan koffie of thee( heel veel soorten) of chocomelk maken zoveel je wil; het was leuk dat ik een bad kon nemen,zalig! Mijn boek zat ik te lezen aan het open venster aan het water,het gaf een vakantiegevoel om de bootjes te zien passeren. De locatie was top....een kleine 10 a 15 minuten te voet langs het kanaal en je was in het centrum. Ook niet onbelangrijk...genoeg parking voor de deur..

Als ik iets moet zeggen...de houten toegangspoort die ik moeilijk open kreeg

Super schöne und ruhige Lage direkt am Wasser. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Leckeres Frühstück. Kleiner Garten zum verweilen und Feuer machen war auch vorhanden. Außerdem hätte man sich auch ein kleines Boot leihen können. Der Host Norbert ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The setting on the water is idyllic and the facilities are lovely. I especially enjoyed the cupboard and fridge of breakfast that made a great, and relaxed start to every day. The walk into Zwolle is also a delight.

Nice exceptional place. You wake up with a view directly to the canal. Host is very friendly. You have to prepare your breakfast yourself by the goods you find in the fridge. Only negative point. I requested an official invoice several times, which I never got. So I had to pay for the VAT by myself, as this has been a business trip.

Norbert was a fantastic host and greeted me like a friend. He was very helpful and explained the accommodation, breakfast etc very well. Unfortunately I took the key and had to travel back to Zwolle to return it, but Norbert was very understanding and collected it from me at the station. A lovely place and location, a 10 minute walk to the centre of Zwolle - I was highly impressed. The breakfast was very good, fresh bread, ham, cheese etc and a good array of tea/coffee and juice.

Lovely setting on the river. Great welcoming host. Always friendly and helpful. Using his own transport to take us to a wedding reception and also to the City. Very relaxing stay, plentiful breakfasts and a lovely experience staying in a houseboat. Would have liked an iron!!!! All good. Would like to revisit someday. Excellent value. Thank you Norbert

Having to leave to go home

Very quiet, located about one km from the city center. The neighbourhood has a kind of bohemian vibe and there is a nice park nearby. The host is great, very welcoming and sociable. Wonderful choice!

The host is so so so kind. He picked us at the train station the first day and drive us back to the train station as well the last day. Moreover, the private boat tour around Zwolle was so unforgettable! The surrounding is full of nature and super kind people. I definitively recommend to stay here to enjoy the local experience! The shower water might not be hot enough

Norbert was such a kind and attentive host. He picked me up from the station and made sure my special diet was catered for. The room was brilliant, looking right out across the water with a lovely garden at the back. It was a quick and pleasant walk into the town, which is an extremely picturesque place to hang out in with a fantastic art gallery and loads of enticing cafes.

Very very nice host. I just mentioned ahead of my arrival that I am vegetarian and the host made an effort and left some vegetarian food in the refrigerator. It is wonderful experience to spend several days in the house floating on water. Waves cannot be sensed unless a big boat is passing very near by. The host lives in the same house in the next apartment, so if you need to ask for something, it is easy.

Mornings can be a bit chilly, depending on the weather conditions, so turn on the air conditioning early in the morning, since the ac needs some time to heat up the apartment (or set up the timer).

Norbet is one of the best hosts I have ever come across. His boat house is equipped with a nice bathtub and comfy bed. There are two TVs in the room if you need entertainment. He prepared an amazing breakfast and always checked with me to ensure I had everything. He even offered to do laundry and lend me the boat to go away from the town. Budda (his dog) is super friendly. I had a great time staying there and I hope you have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of his place.

We loved this property and can’t wait to come back! The owner (Norbert) is SO LOVELY and welcoming and checked in on us everyday to make sure that we had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and the view on the water was lovely. There is an outdoor fireplace and even a boat that can be used on the water. It is (roughly) 20 minutes outside of the city center but a beautiful walk/bike ride into town. Norbert provided so many options for breakfast and even brought additional items once he found out that we were vegetarian. We will absolutely be staying here again!
