such a special stay. relaxing, peaceful and genuine. the building / rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully decorated, the staff are so warm and friendly, the sauna was rejuvenating, and the food was our favourite meal in japan. thank you so much for having us and would absolutely recommend and stay again!
We loved everything about Ume. The beautiful setting, the design, the kindness of the staff and the most incredible meals. We had the smallest room and it was great; nicer than the photos suggest. Lovely amenities and small details in the room. But the reason to come is the food. We adored the dinner - a traditional Japanese multi course meal but very modern and clean and light. The Japanese breakfast was also divine. We would love to come back and stay in the biggest room next time.
