CHEZ MARVA Grande Villa COCO 3 à 12 personnes

This was our fourth time on La Digue, so we’re probably in a good position to compare. Marva and Hyacithe are very kind and friendly, and they helped us with everything we needed. The house is in a very convenient location—in a quiet area, yet just a short walk from the best take-away on the island and the supermarket, and a few minutes by bike to the heliport and the beaches of Anse Source d'Argent and Anse Severe. They offer bicycles in very good condition; if you’ve ever rented bikes from a commercial rental shop on La Digue before, you’ll definitely notice the difference :-))

Our 10-day stay was far too short

perfect place . Ms Marva and Mr.Hyacint are very polite people. We have fully servises from them. WE were very satisfied with this accomodation and service. Thanks a lot !! I recomended thos accomodation. We very enjoyed bikes.

Am Hafen wurden wir bei unserer Ankunft gleich herzlich begrüßt. Tolle Lage und gut zum erreichen. Die Maid hat für uns sehr lecker kreolisch gekocht. Der Bungalow hat alles was man braucht und war sehr sauber.

Marva was very pushy and she had not cleaned or put sheets on the rooms upstairs ..she had only cleaned the ground floor room while we had booked the entire villa ..the moment we came ..she asked us to keep the luggage outside next day dot at 10 for checkout which we found very rude as our ferry was at 2 and we had little kids with us ..she had credited our cards two days before our arrival which we found inappropriate.we will never visit this property

Marva was very nice and welcoming, she made sure that our 3 kids under 5 got to sleep in the house in the afternoon before check-in was possible. The house seemed nice and clean.

The house - especially the terrace - is not really suitable for little kids, the terrace is quite high and narrow and there is no fence or railing. The garden is quite small, on the photos it looked more spacious. The location is also more ideal for adults, it is in the village, beach and restaurant are rather accessible by bike. After we arrived with 3 little kids, we realized we cannot spend 6 days there so we decided to move - unfortunately we had to pay the majority of the total cost. And it has only 3 bedrooms + one queenbed on the first floor right next to the staircase (the description said 4).

Les byciclettes louées par villa coco sont vétustes et on a eu beaucoup de problèmes de déraillement et de saut de pignons

Malheureusement qu’une seule nuit chez Marva mais la maison et l’environnement sont parfait pour une grande famille. Marva est très gentille et disponible, facilitant grandement la gestion des valises à l’arrivée et au départ.

Rien ! C’est parfait ! Peut être rappeler que la navette de retour est payante et donner le prix de celle ci.

Fajny duży dom , blisko do sklepu, możliwość wypożyczenia na miejscu rowerów. Opiekunka domu Malwa super pomocna , uśmiechnięta i przyjazna.

Marva nous a très bien accueillis ! Nous recommandons de lui demander de préparer le premier souper: nous avons eu à manger pendant trois jours ! Ses conseils de balades et d'organisation des visites ont été excellents ! La maison est immense pour 4 personnes !

Lo que menos nos gusto fue que te van a buscar gratis al puerto cuando llegas, pero la vuelta te la cobran a 12€ por un trayecto de 5 minutos, pero es un trayecto muy incomodo para ir con maletas y por eso deber ir en su vehículo. También nos pareció mal el cobro de una comisión bancaria respecto al precio fijado

La maison avec son jardin fleuri et abrité sont très agréables. Cuisine.spatieuse avec tout le nécessaire. Nombreuses salles de.bain. Le lieu est très calme. Marva.est très chaleureuse.

Posizione a 5 minuti di auto dal porto. Dato che la grandezza dell'isola permette di arrivare ovunque in poco tempo (la bicicletta a noleggio è necessaria) valuto la posizione come ottima. Essendo la casa in paese, i servizi principali (supermarket, ATM, take away) sono tutti a portata di mano. Per i servizi di noleggio bici e transfer da e per il porto, oltre alle tariffe proposte dall'host, confrontatevi anche con altri fornitori per ottenere prezzi più competitivi. Trattate sul prezzo.

Alcuni elettrodomestici malfunzionanti (tostapane, manopola del gas che si stacca). Qualche ripiano in più nei bagni non guasterebbe, ma nel complesso la casa è funzionale. Un piccolo dettaglio: rispetto alle foto pubblicate nell'annuncio, il giardino è decisamente più piccolo e viene interamente occupato dalle biciclette a noleggio. Poco male, a La Digue non si va per stare in giardino. Per quanto riguarda i rumori notturni: ci sono diversi cani nelle vicinanze che abbaiano spesso anche di notte.

next to the property right at the fence is a very small dog cage where a dog is locked in for 24 hours. The cage is boarded up all the way round- only at the top there is a gap where you can see the very stressed out dog. The dog barks and whines and scratches at the wall ( because distressed) of the cage a lot during the night and the day. I was told by the dog owner the dog can get out of his small cage in the night but that was not the case when we were there.

Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und geräumig. Es gibt drei Badezimmer zu den jeweiligen Schlafzimmern. Unser Frühstück konnten wir draußen genießen im schön angelegten grünen Garten. Die Artenvielfalt und wunderschönen Farben der Tiere und Insekten konnte man schon am Morgen bestaunen. Die Unterkunft fliegt etwas abseits von den Stränden, aber in einer ruhigen Gegend, zwischen den Häusern der einheimischen. Die Ausgangslage ist sehr zentral in jede Richtung erreicht man die Strände innerhalb von 5- 10 Minuten. Und Marva stand und immer freundlich zur Verfügung.

Nice and clean with lots of space. Marva cooked us a lovely dinner as requested for our first night.

Being a little away from town we couldn’t walk to get groceries etc due to being the wet season and flooding in the area. We were able to pay for transport which was just a call away, using the same man who gave us free transport that was in included with the accommodation.

Marva was a wonderful host! We enjoyed being in her house which was a great base to explore the island.

The location of the property is good for your first stay on La Digue. It is close to takeaways, shop, ferry port, beaches like Anse Severe and Source D'Argent. The villa itself is exactly as described. It is extremely clean, spacious, big kithen, spacious rooms with climate conditioner. But the owners are the ones who make the villa even more beautiful. Their house is next to it and you can always count on their help. Marva, the owner, cooks extermely good, so highly recommend to try her dishes, much better than any restaurant we visited. Her husband will meet you, can rent you bikes at very good price, take you anywhere on the island with his car. Our stay with two young children was excellent!

We came to Seychelles on February and it is extremely hot here. In four days we have adapted to the temperature, but sunscreens, few days for new time zone and temperature adaptation is a must.

Rental bikes are on the property and if you have any issues or questions, staff is always available and helpful.

Quinte central and "close" to most important places to visit. Marva is very responsive and ready to help.

We had a great stay on La Digue, this house was perfect for our group of 5 people. The house is very spacious, well equipped and in a very quiet neighborhood. Marva and her husband did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We can recommend this house for a trip to La Digue.

Marva and his husband were really friendly. They advised a lot about the activities on the island. House very clean and confortable. Nice location close with bike to the village and Anse Source d'Argent, the best beach we have never seen.

We were picked up from the ferry, the pre-booked bikes including kids helmets were already at the house. Marva cooked us a great Creole dinner and overall the hospitality of Marva and her husband Hyacinthe was simply incredible.

Communication with Isabel was very quick, but not always accurate. For instance she told that there are no helmets at all on La Digue, but they apparently were easily available.

The owners of the Villa are very welcoming, friendly and available for every need. The villa is clean, cozy and very functional, with all the necessary equipment for a nice stay.

The villa was spacious and clean. The beds were really comfortable. Marva and Hyacinth were excellent, flexible hosts. Location is also good, by bike village center is very close (even without bike, on foot).

Mini things only: internet did not work all the time, but it was ok. Sharp, different sized knives would be handy in the kitchen.

Our stay at Chez Marva was great. The hosts are very nice and kind people. We paid for the Creolan dinner and it was delicious. A lot of food left for the next day. The house is comfortable, situated in a small beautiful garden. Quiet location within the area where local people live. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Everything was clean.

Large and spacious villa, beautiful garden and delicious creole meal cooked by Marva. Upon arrival AC upstairs was not working, but Marva called technician immediately to get it fixed.

Wifi connection was not very good and the road to get to it is not in very good condition, especially when it rains.

Yacinth and Marva were very helpful and nice to us. Made our stay as easy as possible. Provided us with bikes, nice dinner. There was a misunderstanding with the breakfast we had booked and at the end it was offered to us for free. The Villa is spacious, each of us (3) had our own room and bathroom. It was clean.

A very good private house, ideal for our group consisting of two families knowing well each other. The equipment was good, you can find everything you need. The owners - Hyacint and Marva are nice and helpful. We took an offer for Creole dinner on the first day, and this was delicius, I can recommend. Other people noticed here dogs in the neighbourhood howling close to the house - this is true, but it was not too disturbing and in fact this is not a problem in my opinion. Someone can be afraid of the distance to the sea - but you really shoud rent a bike on La Digue and everything is close than.

The final bill should be made sooner to avoid useless bank transfer fees.

Marva and her husband were great hosts, they helped us in all our belongings and served us sweet and savory breakfast (fruits, eggs, juice, etc.) and awesome creol food for dinner for a decent price. They provided rental bikes, which are necessary to get to all beautiful places around the island. The house is clean and well equipped especially with A/C in the bedrooms, the courtyard is small but beautiful with nice trees and plants. We definitely recommend booking food!

Very friendly and helpful hosts, clean and spacious, beautiful garden and great facilities (bike hire, meals and transfers/excursions) by comfortable and big golf cart. The hosts are very knowledgeable about the island are very flexible.

It is a bit difficult to find, a signpost or two from the main road will help. The location is perfect though to discover attractions in all directions.
