TV in the entertainment area would not allow connection to DSTV. TV in the main lounge would not allow connection to YOU TUBE. Patio is not covered so you cannot braai or sit outside if it is raining.

The Estate is wonderful with stunning mountain views and very secure. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped with everything needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I was made to pay for a door without listening to my side of the story. Door was broken during an emergency when my wife and grandaughter got stuck in the bathroom when it did not want to open.

It was extremely cold and the gas heaters were all empty. We expect the cold weather in Clarens so property needs to ensure heating is sorted.. they can maybe redesign the fireplace, as soon as we lip up the logs the entire house smoked up

Beautiful, modern house, well-appointed, with 2 living areas, see-through fireplace, 4 luxurious en-suite bedrooms, great kitchen and outdoor area with pool. More beautiful than the photos. 1. Kitchen needs to be stocked with more dishes for a 8 sleeper ( mugs, pots, plates, casseroles, glasses, dishcloths) 2. Awning required- Covered car park and covered patio braai area (it rained and our braai plans could it be done due to no covering) 3. No Bedside rugs

We battled with smoke in the house when we were using the fireplace. Also only found out on the second day that we can have the gas bottles refilled.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2024The house itself has got a really good flow and setup and is a delight to be in and to just relax and enjoy. The fact that the doors all open up gives a feeling of space and is a pleasure to be in.
The fireplace could be closer to where the tv areas are and in fact perhaps just move the dinning room table to the kitchen area and move tv and couches towards the fireplace. It was far to feel the heat when seating on the other side and would recommend a closed fire place for the house so that it can generate the eat needed without the smoke. The house is too big for an open fireplace.

The main bedroom bed was a bit small and the heater in the main lounge stopped working efficiently on Saturday night. There was no extra mattress/single bed for a kid who shares a room with parents. No covered parking for vehicles.

No aircons in Bedrooms Something is seriously wrong with electricity - Toaster trips the earth leakage but keep on working with rest of the plugs in the house dead. Bedroom 2 - Hot water feed to face wash basin is twisted - To be rectified Bedrooms 3 - Shower floor is not sealed and water leaks all over the room 2 x Outdoor chairs are broken and can't be used. Almost all bracketery in the Bedrooms are loose, I believe is was not properly fixed in the first place. Front door touch on the floor tipes when open towards the inside. Braai pergola beams are not all bolted and is a safety hazzard.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2023The home was amazing. It was build recently and we loved the modern look. The swimming pool was amazing and we loved it. The 4 bedrooms was amazing for our two families with 4 kids. We had more than enough space for everyone.
The stoop\patio did not have a roof. On the rainy days we could not sit outside even if it was not too cold to sit outside. The chairs on the patio was a little bit uncomfortable but all and all everything was great. We also would have loved some mirrors in the rooms and also some bedside lamps.
