I recently stayed at a villa in Jolly Harbor, Antigua, and overall had a pleasant and relaxing experience. The villa itself was spacious, bright, and very clean, which made it comfortable to settle in right away. Fresh towels were provided, and everything felt well-maintained. The area is quiet and peaceful—perfect if you’re looking to unwind without distractions. One of the highlights was the beautiful view, along with the beach being less than a five-minute walk away. The water was calm and serene, ideal for swimming or just enjoying the scenery. There’s also a supermarket within a short driving distance, and the option to rent golf carts made getting around a bit easier. The owner was responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, which added to the positive experience. That said, there are a few things to keep in mind. You’ll definitely need a car to get around, as most places aren’t within walking distance. The location can feel a bit removed depending on what you’re planning to do, and during our stay there was some nearby construction, which occasionally disrupted the otherwise quiet atmosphere. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful surroundings, as long as you’re prepared for a bit of driving and potential development in the area.
