Although the property is described as close to town - it is not close to Bundoran it is a 30 minute walk to town.
Brilliant location overlooking the mouth of the River Drowse and Donegal Bay. Fabulous sunsets in the western sky. Living accommodation on the first floor to take advantage of the sea views.
Lumpy heavy pillows. If you're using the dishwasher, you really need more crockery. More wineglasses too. Otherwise the kitchen was well equipped.
Beautiful house, quiet location, with stunning views. The house has the living quarters on the upper level giving perfect views of the sea and mountain, and the sleeping area on the lower floor.
We did make contact about some friends popping by for a cup of tea, bur as we did not hear back, we decided to go to them instead as the contract states no guests other than those on the booking without written consent. Bit strict, but understandable so we decided to just stick with the rules and meet them elsewhere. We filled the black bin bag and couldn't find more, however there were plenty of bin liners in the bathroom bins and we used one of these for the few bits of extra rubbish like biscuit packets and light wrappers.
The views are absolutely stunning! The cottage is very comfortable and the location is perfect. It’s great to have two separate bathrooms and an additional toilet as well.
The bunkbed in the second bedroom is a bit wobbly. The ladder could do with being tightened up a bit. The kitchen utensils are also in need of replacing. The crockery and pans are fine, it just needs some new cooking utensils.
Lovely views just outside bundoran town
The beds weren't a bit comfortable
Spacious. Clean. Lovely views.
I loved the location and the view of the ocean from the living room. The house was comfortable and easy to access Bundoran. Thats it.
It is not the house that was the problem. It was the absolutely unnecessary fuss that it took to book the house! Never, when I use Booking.com, have I had to upload ID, fill out unnecessary forms, and "sell my soul" to get into a house! I had to put a deposit down (which is fine), but i got a total of 6 emails regarding this before we even left for Bundoran, even though i had paid the deposit it kept telling me i had not paid! Constant and annoying. Additionally, even though i paid the extra fee for extra people for 1 night (which is a terrible rule) It was so expensive, £460 for 2 nights in what is a very basic house, with the big selling point being the view. I was constantly harassed after I secured my credit card about this. Even though I had already paid the deposit, I got a total of 5 emails telling me to pay! It made me feel horrid! It's far too much. Plus we stayed for 2 nights, and on the VERY 1ST morning, when we were about to venture out, I got the "checkout text" about having to be out by 11am the next morning, on the 1st day of vacation, it was completely unnecessary and RUDE. They need to rethink how they treat people, and I realise I was not an air bnb customer but a booking.com one. Their system is overcomplicated and unnecessary, I will never be back in one of these properties, and I advise people to stay away!!! There are nicer places in Bundoran with much less paperwork and constant overreaching. Never again.
Loved our stay, it was exactly what we were looking for for a couple of days get away with two young kids who loved it as well. The views was amazing and we timed it right with the weather, absolutely perfect view of the sun set each night. Really comfortable nights sleep after busy day in the town, we will be looking to stay again for the next time we go to Bundoran.
No complaints
Exceptional House. Very well furnished wirh all utensils dishwasher and washer dryer. The House is adjacent to River Drowes on Donegal.Leitrim border with fantastic views over Donegal Bay. Children enjoyed.Television and we were able to log in to our streaming services to keep them occupied in the evenings. Living area upstairs which facilitated Ocean and river views. Quiet at night in rural location just outside Bundoran. Condiments tea towels and kitchen rolls also provided was also a nice touch. Overall a well appointed house and good value.
The location was 4km outside Bundoran and we needed to use the car to travel into town centre. Not a huge issue for us but future guests should be aware. On the plus side quiet rural location Just a suggestion but a typed sheet with full instructions on heating control would have been helpful.
Clean, well prepped, good online instructions, beds comfortable, ability to wash clothes
Excellent facilities in a great location and with a beautiful view across the sea. Sunsets viewed from the living room were stunning. Support from the host in response to an enquiry was terrific and really helpful.
Everything was excellent
Lovely cottage, with nice view.Cottage has everything you need. Good for families.
Property was in an ideal location Close to all amenities with superb views
Home away from home. Very comfortable. The view…..just so stunning. Extremely relaxing. Loved that it was located just outside Bundoran as it was very peaceful but also it was close enough to access Bundoran to avail of the activities for the kids!
Nothing
Had a great couple of days staying at fishery cottages, Clean tidy and close to all amenities. Would definitely recommend this place.
The location was fab; amazing views, close to Bundoran and our favourite beach at Rossnowlagh. The property was great, it had all the facilities we needed, including a washing machine (which was so useful with two kids & lots of beach time!). The kitchen has all the essentials, bedrooms were good size and again, really useful to have two en-suite bathrooms and a loo upstairs.

Lovely views
A bit too far away from local amenities very few buses available
Sea view, space, big kitchen and living room area, parking, area and surroundings. The house was like a home away from home
Easy access. Fantastic sea view. Very warm and inviting. Lovely quiet location Host very accommodating. I would be very happy to recommend this property. Easy access to all amenities. Great outdoor activities close by. Fantastic atmosphere in the area.
The house number on the property was difficult to see.
Just back from 10 lovely days at this place, the house location was superb, facing the Atlantic sea and the bay with stunning sunsets and a little river flowing by the house to the sea was divine. It’s just over the Leitrim border in Bundoran. You could see the stunning scenery from the living room which was very cleverly made upstairs and bedrooms downstairs. The house was equipped with everything you would need and more and was spotless, the check in process great and easy, It is definitely a great place to stay and we booked a week but extended our stay by 3 days to enjoy it more and so glad we did, we have the best photos ever and would really recommend highly
I like that they have the living room upstairs so that you can take in the breathtaking views of the Atlantic.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like to be honest. I suppose the fact that I couldn't adjust the height of the shower head in the shower in front bedroom was the only thing I can say.
The view was superb - the photographs of the view from the living room windows on the website don't do it justice. The house was comfortable, clean and well-equipped.
Could have done with some instructions for tv. It seemed to be a bit hit and miss.

The location
Very poor WiFi Absolutely crazy tv system that 3 adults couldn't figure out. No instructions. Also, there are no instructions for the heating. Could not find the bins on departure day. People from another house out in the rain also looking for the bins and couldn't find them. Had to bring the rubbish home with us. The owner wanted us to leave the dishes washed but didn't even leave a dishwasher tablet. Most houses you rent have milk and nice bread or pastries but nothing here.
Beautiful cottage and fanatic location, really clean and well equipped. Definitely be back
