3-Bedroom Private Pool Villa, 800m to Beach

We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived, we felt that this was a very special place. The Joglo is beautiful, full of charm and little details, and you can tell that a lot of love has gone into creating it. We especially loved the garden – so green and peaceful, and such a lovely place to sit with a coffee in the morning. We are both quite sensitive to noise when we travel, so we really appreciated how incredibly quiet it was. It feels completely hidden away, and we slept so well every night. A real highlight for us was the private yoga class at the house. Neither of us knew quite what to expect, but it ended up being one of our favourite moments of the whole stay. The teacher was wonderful and the setting made it feel very special. And we have to mention the staff – everyone was so kind and genuinely caring. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and we felt very welcome from the first day. We were honestly sad to leave. It’s one of those places that has a real soul and stays in your memory. We will be back :-).

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is a beautiful, charming and very stylish traditional Joglo, with so much character and a really special atmosphere. The location is honestly perfect — right in the middle of everything and within easy reach of cafés, restaurants and the beach, yet the moment you step inside, it feels completely hidden away from the busy streets. It is incredibly peaceful and quiet. The lush tropical garden, beautiful pool and outdoor patio make it such an easy place to spend the day. We loved just relaxing outside, and the open-air bathrooms are gorgeous — showering surrounded by greenery was one of those little Bali experiences we’ll remember. The staff were exceptionally kind, warm and helpful and made us feel very well looked after throughout our stay. One of my absolute highlights was booking a private yoga class at the house. We did it outside on the patio overlooking the garden, and it was SO good! The teacher was fantastic and it felt incredibly special to have a private class in such a beautiful, peaceful setting. I would definitely recommend adding this to your stay. The whole place has that rare combination of being stylish and beautiful without feeling like a hotel — it feels like a real home in Bali. Peaceful, private and full of character, but with everything Canggu has to offer just outside the door. We would absolutely stay again. ❤️

Beautiful villa in an amazing location in the heart of Canggu! Putu and the host are fabulous and on hand if you need anything.

The fabulous location does come at price in that noisy motorbikes can sometimes be heard at night. They didn’t bother us though.

Beautiful villa and garden, great style and cleanliness, it felt so luxurious and comfortable. Putu and Ayu were lovely hosts and really cared for us during our stay! Would definitely recommend staying here for a luxurious stay, a hidden gem in the perfect location near the beach and the centre of Canggu!

We loved our stay here! The owner was so accommodating to us arriving late, and also allowed us to pay to check out late due to a late flight. Putu the local host was amazing and so friendly, helpful and came to clean almost every day. Location was amazing, a perfect spot close to many cafes, restaurants and the beach. Lovely Bali style villa (which are becoming rare) with nice air con and comfy beds. Our kids loved the toys that are at the villa and the pool was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!!

The only two things I could say are it is quite noisy from the motorbikes if you’re a light sleeper. There’s also a cafe turned nightclub on Saturday night only that is loud but they stop at a reasonable time (we went and joined them on our second Saturday so didn’t worry us haha!) There are also a lot of mosquitos that can gain entry being a Bali style villa with gaps in doors/windows/roofs but the cot was provided with a net and we just sprayed ourselves before bed and it was fine 🙂

We booked this villa for a 5-week stay but ended up leaving after 2 nights because of a number of issues, which was incredibly disappointing and stressful during what was supposed to be a long family holiday with our 6-month-old baby. The biggest problem was the mosquitos throughout the villa (as mentioned in other reviews) and the lack of working air conditioning in the communal areas. It was over 30 degrees in the living spaces, which was extremely uncomfortable and even more difficult when travelling with a baby. During the stay our daughter became unwell and developed a rash, which made the situation even more worrying for us. The listing needs to be updated regarding the air conditioning so people can decide for themselves whether the property is suitable before booking. The owner’s solution to the air conditioning issue was to give us an ancient fan and suggest we stay in the bedroom for the entire stay, which was unrealistic for a 5-week booking. There were also several other problems on arrival. The crib provided for our baby was broken, the mosquito net had holes in them, and the gas stove did not work. As mentioned in other reviews, the entrance to the villa is through a building site and kitchen area (as described in a previous review). The villa is also very noisy from nearby traffic and bars, and you will likely need earplugs to sleep. Looking back, I wish I had taken the negative reviews more seriously, especially as many mention the same issues we experienced. You can also see from some of the owner’s responses to those reviews the attitude guests are met with when raising concerns.

It's a really lovely place where everything was thought of, making us feel right at home. The location is also fantastic. Our host was very sweet, understanding, and helpful. Putu and her friend came to clean every day, and they were lovely too. If I come back, I will definitely stay here again.

I am very surprised by the previous reviews that the location is quiet. It's next to the super busy Canggu shortcut that makes you feel that all the motorbikes are running over your head while you sleep. Additionally, of the 8 nights we spent there, we had two evenings of super-loud party music coming from Revolver and two live music performances at Lola's. This place is also full of mosquitoes with no window screens in any of the windows available. However, what was most disgusting was the entrance. To enter the location, we needed to walk through the slum kitchen, passing the smelly stain of old cooking oil that made me nauseated every time we passed. The back entrance was full of gravel, making it hard to use motorbikes. I stay in Bali every three months, so I know what this island can offer - this was by far the lowest standard I encountered. Pool was slightly dirty as well.

La villa est spacieuse et très bien équipée pour passer une agréable moment entre amis/familles. Nous avons pu préparer en amont notre séjour avec les propriétaires qui ont été d’une grande aide et très réactifs (early check-in/late check-out, location de scooter) . Le séjour s’est parfaitement déroulé grâce a Putu qui coordonne la villa sur place. Merci pour tout. Nous recommandons ce logement !

Some mosquitoes in the rainy season

This villa is truly a special place! It’s located right in the center, within walking distance of all the popular spots, yet it feels like a peaceful oasis thanks to its beautiful private garden. The atmosphere is incredibly calm and quiet, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The host was always available and very attentive, keeping the villa perfectly clean throughout our stay. We have stayed in many places in Bali but this one genuinely amazed us. The design is incredibly authentic with so many beautiful details around the house. You can really feel how much love and thought was put into creating such a cozy and unique space. One of our favorite features was the open-air shower - it was magical to catch the sunlight during the day or shower under the stars at night. We also loved the little garden connected to one of the rooms, where fish and even a turtle live. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, unique oasis right in the heart of the city!

We only stayed here for a short time, but we truly wish we could have stayed much longer. The villa is beautiful, very tastefully decorated, and feels both comfortable and welcoming. The location is excellent — the beach and a great selection of restaurants and cafés are all within walking distance, yet the villa itself is in a quiet and peaceful area. The garden and private pool are lovely and make it a perfect place to relax. Our whole family absolutely loved staying here. It was a wonderful experience, and we would happily return anytime.

This villa felt like a hidden oasis and so much like home. We loved the location so many good restaurants and cafes near by. We loved the offering of children’s toys. Putu was amazing and nothing was too much trouble.

As a lot of other reviews mentioned and as expected if you travel in the wet season there are lots of mosquitoes. We ensured our children had natural Protect Outdoor insect repellent and slept under the covers at night to mitigate the issue. We also used the indoor bathroom more in the evening. It was a little hard to find the villa initially but so so worth it! It is a hidden gem in Canggu!

Big open space, private and stunning to look at. We enjoyed this property the most in our Bali trip. Our stay was absolutely amazing, we are so grateful to be welcomed to this beautiful home. We will definitely come back and let our friends now of this amazing accommodation.

Perfect location for the beach and restaurants. Very comfortable and tranquil. We felt very comfortable. Pool and back area is gorgeous and inside has a nice amount of space for our family of 4. We liked that the bedrooms were all under the main roof.

The villa is in an ideal location for restaurants. Putu was extremely helpful and kept the place in great condition. The villa is set up well for families, I would highly recommend. The jungle garden was a hit with all of us.

Unlike other guests we found the noise from the motorbikes speeding through the Canggu shortcut really impacted our sleep. Definitely not a quiet place but it's a compromise for location. Mosquitoes were a constant issue as per previous comments.

We have booked for 5 weeks next year. This is by far the the best villa I have been in so quite and the main rd is the most quiet street making for a ezy run 2 beach and food( so many healthy options)I’m out most mornings on the scooter hunting waves back for breakfast then surfing with kids.best trip for family we have had. Can get hectic on the roads . But not here making it super relaxing

Such a large spacious house in the heart of Canggu. Hardly any street noise at all times of the day.

Loved everything about it. For some it might not have enough sun getting through the foliage to lounge in the sun around the pool but that didn’t bother us.

We had an amazing stay at this villa. The property itself was clean and spacious. The helper Putu was very welcoming and hospitable. Based in a great area of Canggu, we would absolutely stay again!

Property was well equipped with everything you need, including toys for the kids, full kitchen, comfortable couch. Villa is tucked away off the Main Street protected from noise.

Can be a bit tricky to find without a sign or villa name.

The location was right in the heart of the action in Canggu, with great restaurants, cafes and bars all literally on your doorstep. With the terrible traffic in Bali, being able to just walk to where you want to be is a huge plus. Despite this proximity, the villa was surprisingly well insulated from any noise so evenings were quiet and calm for the family.

Mosquitoes are a huge issue in Bali, and this place is not immune from them. Because 2 out of the 3 toilets are located outdoors, this meant having to pay the mosquito tax every time I needed to use the bathroom at night (as a guy in his forties, this happens often! haha) My suggestion to the host would be to install some mosquito nets above the beds and to supply guests with plenty of Baygon spray to neutralize the threat in the evenings. But other than that, the property provided an authentic Balinese villa experience that would certainly be lacking if you opted for a sterile environment like a modern hotel instead.

We had a lovely stay in this villa. The villa had everything we needed. Great location with restaurants and shops around the corner and a short walk to beach. Putu was very kind and responded quickly. It was so lovely, we wanted to stay 1 night longer, which was easily arranged! If you visit canggu, I recommend you to stay in this villa!

Everything was absolutely perfect. A hidden spacious villa with its own pool just off the main street. We couldn't have asked for more. The staff was very nice as well and the cleanliness was top notch.

The host and her staff were fantastic, our previous accommodations had fallen through at the last moment, but we were able to book this place within 2 hours! The location was perfect, located near the heart of Canggu there were plenty of excellent shops and restaurants within walking distance of the property. My jaw dropped when I walked in for the first time, the traditional Balinese house was well decorated, and in great condition. The pool and back deck were phenomenal. The place gave secret garden vibes, and was the perfect oasis for our vacation.

Such a beautiful little oasis in the heart of Canggu. We absolutely loved it. Perfect for families, great location. Food, coffee, pharmacy, massage, shops, beach all in easy walking distance. The host went above and beyond to help us with organising my daughter's birthday celebration. We'll be back for sure.

First time in Canggu as a family and it was the perfect place for us. We have 2yo and 9 month and this place was so kid friendly. Plenty of toys (especially cars perfect for a 2yo boy). We spent a lot of time in the villa as the kids weren’t always up for big adventures and aren’t accustomed to the Bali heat. The villa had a great pool and wasn’t overly deep. Great location- across the road is a chemist and a cafe. It’s a very busy street but you don’t hear much of the traffic noise.

The location of this villa is great! It’s across the road from Revolver, around the corner from Lola’s, has a pharmacy across the road as well as quick-e-mart near by. Also easy walk to Love Anchor. It’s an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Canggu once you step inside the gate.

Could do with a larger sofa in the lounge room and some sun lounges by the pool.

The house is beautiful, the staff is super friendly, everything you need is there even some toys for the kids. Location is perfect, walking distance from the beach and all the shops but in a quiet back street to avoid noise. Would definitely come back to the house if I come back to CANGGU!

This villa was very charming and loved the atmosphere and decor. The beds were all comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Two of the bathrooms were outside and awesome. This property was in a very central location.

Everything was great. We didn’t spend enough time there as we were always out and about.

Brilliant location! Set back off the main busy street it was indeed a quiet oasis to retreat to. The beach was a flat, 10 min slow stroll away and you walked past so many breakfast lunch, dinner, minimarts and day spa spots. Not the street for shopping or clubs but they are only one street over or a $1.20nzd Gojek scooter away. The pool was a nice spot to reset after a day out in the heat. The aircon worked well and the third bedroom we had did not have an ensuite but was a separate room accessed through the main kitchen/living area. Not ideal...but I may have read the description wrong. The bonus of this room, it was not an out door bathroom so I didn't have to share the room with geckos and flying insects like the others did. The joinery of this older style house has large gaps in but the mossie coils provided seemed to keep them at bay and there wasnt alot around in late June. Check in was easy and communication was great throughout our stay. We had to request new towels and it wasnt a problem. Would I stay again...not sure, would for the location but would look for somewhere newer first.

This was our second stay at the villa. 😀 We came back because we like it so much! Great location in Canggu amidst nice cafes and close to the beach. The villa is spacious with a nice veranda and garden to hang out during the day when the kids are playing in the swimming pool. The villa is cleaned daily. I strongly recommend it! 😊

The property was very homely and the hosts were certainly attentive. I liked this villa because it was one level and closed in. Some villas the living room is open and can be very hot. We were able to use the air conditioning which made it very comfortable.

The staff was great and delightful. Location was awesome, with tons of great cafe and restaurants nearby. The pool was quite relaxing and clean as well. It's large enough to easily fit 3 families.

The villa is a bit old, with a few place that are probably overdue for renovation.

The villa is beautiful. It is tucked away off a quiet laneway on a pretty main street. You don't hear traffic in the Villa. The bathrooms are lovely with two having outdoor showers. We felt very safe. The kids loved the pool and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the street.

Loved the location. Canggu was very hectic and busy but as soon as you went inside the property you're transported to a garden Oasis! Pool was perfect for our toddler with the big shelf, villa was cleaned every morning and we were able to organise a chef one night to cook an amazing Balinese dinner!

Would have loved some sun loungers and access to a chef for breakfasts. But that was minor there are so many great restaurants around and it's really easy to get pretty much anything delivered.

Maybe some Sun loungers for around the pool, and although the gardener was amazing, it was impossible to stay on top of things falling from trees into the pool.

What a comfortable and homey place to spend time with family in canggu! We had a delightful time. The villa is walking distance from all the best cafes and restaurants but the hustle and bustle is left behind as soon as you enter the villa. The garden and pool area is serene and perfect for kids and the endless toys were a big treat for my son! We would stay here again .

We were with 2 small kids and it was an absolutely wonderful stay! The villa is a true gem in Canggu, within walking distance of Crate cafe and other nice places. The house is very clean, beautifully decorated and very spacious. The veranda is a great place to sit on while the kids are playing in the garden or in the lovely, large swimming pool. There is also a small fish pond that the kids really liked. The villa is even more beautiful than on the pictures. We highly recommend it!

To enter this house, you have to walk through a small narrow lane, at the end is small wooden door and then you enter. WOW! Canggu is so busy, but this place has such calming effect, that immediatelly you feel like you are on holiday. The house is so cute and stylish. You can see that owners put a lot of effort into making this place. 3 bedrooms all lead into living room with kitchen. There is wonderful wooden bar. Once you walk through the house you end up on patio with big dining table and a daybed (best place for napping) :) The garden and pool are super nice. Even though you are totally in center of it all, it is so quit here, not like a lot of places in Canggu. If you ride scooter, you are just by the shortcut, so super fast to go anywhere. Owners gave us a lot of tips what to see and where to eat and drink. From the villa you can reach beach and famous Batu Bolong in couple of minutes. Highly recommend this villa and hope to be back soon.

- It’s like a paradise: beautiful house with great pool and garden, amazing architecture, elegant & stylish. Everything made out wood. Very spacious. We immediately felt we were on vacation - Perfect for families: 3 large beautiful bedroom with nice Air-conditioning (each of my daughters was sooo happy with her “own” bathroom ; loved them, so different!!). Perfect size swimming-pool in a lovely garden. The kitchen was just very comfortable and smart. Everything super clean. - Close to the beach: easy 10 minute stroll to the Canggu beach. We had a scooter, and we could also park it there for just IDR 2k (not even £0.2) - quiet location: we felt like we were far from the main busy Canggu street. - Very nice restaurants & cafes; comparing to beaches like Kuta and Nusa Dua, the places to eat were just much nicer. Everything super healthy, clean, stylish, and very creative. Note: now that we’re back home, our daughters are preparing those crazy good fruit-bawls a-la-Changgu - The ladies cleaning the house were just great; always with a smile and surprisingly they could communicate (somehow) in English.

I stayed in this beautiful joglo with my family and we absolutely loved it. First of all the location - the house is situated in a prime location in Canggu, walking distance to the beach and all the cool cafes and restaurants. House has a very cozy and stylish feel. Our family loved the swimming pool and the garden. Helpers that come to the house are very kind and friendly and keep the villa super clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for hidden nook in the busy Canggu.
