Great location, spa, nice living room and hosts were welcoming.

Unfortunately some aspects of the layout. Having a room near the hosts bedroom is not great and you need to go outside to access the lounge area. If you can rejig the layout so the guests have their own area (lounge with direct access and bedroom) would be brilliant

Lovely & abundant describes it all - the hosts, the location, the view, the 'facility', the breakfast, the openness of welcome & genuine treatment from the hosts/owners... quiet privacy (a number of bedrooms and spacious facilities, but they only have 1 set of stayers at a time - wow), the friendly pets, comfy bed... The history of the home - previous owners & successive alterations very interesting. It was more expensive than what we normally 'allow' ourselves... but yes turns out it was a worthwhile treat. Getting bit picky now. As a builder/handyman you notice some things ! At some stage i'd look at getting the grouting renewed/refreshed in the shower area. Soft-drop toilet seats - sorry if my recall isn't accurate - places we stayed on our trip, l.o.j., you'd assume soft-drop.. then "crash" it would go.. in the middle of the night ! L.o.j. - they're not expensive.

Everything was gorgeous, hosts were wonderful.

This is a wonderful place to stay . The room was excellent and peaceful. The guest lounge and the outside area were both relaxing and comfortable. Ann and Ewan were exceptional hosts. If I come back, I would book this location again.

Natürlich am Land - aber tolle Aussicht und nah nach St. Bathans. Alles sehr sauber, geräumig und geschmackvoll. Großer Frühstücks- und Aufenthaltsraum mit Riesenfernseher und allen Einrichtungen - zusätzliches Spielezimmer. Also auch perfekt falls man mal einen Regentag überbrücken müsste. Das beste aber sind die Besitzer. Extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben tatsächlich den Abend gemeinsam bei einem Glas Wein verbracht und hochinteressante Familiengeschichten ausgetauscht, obwohl wir nur eine Nacht da waren. Andererseits haben sie unsere Privatsphäre außerst ernst genommen.

Fantastic hosts, very generous food and drinks

The view from our bedroom. The private toilet was so huge. Anne and Ewan who were our host. Very kind and sweet couple. I love how the house is decorated tastely to the excellent selection of body wash and lotion. Chosen this place becuz we know there will not be any light pollution and if we are lucky we will be able to see stars. I always living near a farm. Part of my trip was to stay in people's houses to get a glimpse of their lives and how they deco their house.

Anne and Ewan were incredible hosts who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as enjoyable and comfortable as possible after a cold and wet day on the Otago rail trail in the middle of winter! The evening meal was very homely and we enjoyed exchanging stories by the open fire with a glass of wine and cuddles from Winnie the dog! Would highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Central Otago.

Huge space dedicated to visitors and very accommodating & friendly hosts. Great attention to detail in all aspects. Tastefully decorated.

Nothing to dislike

The rooms were lovely, and the beds sooo comfortable. Lovely hosts. Lots of guest space where we could find a nook to read quietly, or sit together to drink beer and play cards. We had dinner provided - excellent, and wolfed down by three tired cyclists. Breakfast, continental style, was also very good.

The spa was out-of-order during our visit :-(

Stunning views, spacious and stylish property. Hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Very comfy bed with lovely linen and towels.

A very special place to relax after a long bike ride over Omara saddle. The room and the facilities were beautiful and clean, the dip in the Pool a great refreshment. The hospatility was exceptional. Thank you so much for hosting us, we can highly recommend and would definetly come again:)

It was an awesome place to stay. I can thoroughly recommend it. Anne and Ewan were superb hosts, warm, friendly and the house was clean and had everything you could possibly want. A+++++

The most gorgeous farmstay I've ever been to. Views from the property are outstanding. There is plenty of privacy for guests and nice facilities to keep yourself entertained. The local pubs were full and the wonderful host cooked a lovely dinner for us to enjoy together in front of the fire place.

Fantastic private quiet place to just relax. Great hosts awesome home baking and heat options for breakfast.

Lovely cosy place to stay and very friendly hosts after a hard cycling trip. I arrived late but they were so welcoming and helpful.
