Location and size of rooms
Doors were heavy even in the bathroom- difficult for elders and kids to handle. There were lots of ants in the room - and the staff had to sprinkle some chemicals to clear them in the night.
The hotel is exceptionally well-located with a beautiful view of the temple pond and just a short walk from the Thiyagaraja Temple. A staff named Kannadasan was at the front desk, did exceptionally well to ensure our stay was hassle-free. From checking us in seamlessly to being highly attentive, courteous, and polite, his customer service was top-notch. He went out of his way to answer our questions and guide us around the area, very helpful
A restaurant would have been nice
Staff courtesy, bed and overall ambience
Nothing but they should help in finding autos for local temple visits
Hygiene and good location
No restaurant with food service
Location was great! It was right next to Thayagarajaswami temple, our main reason for visiting Tiruvarur.
Chambre propre et confortable
They are very helpful customer service any time. The breakfast was so good . Their staff very polite and very kind .
Perfect to stay.
Location and hotel looks new.
Toilet floors are slippery and the hotel needs to fix this issue.
Near temple great location
Frequent power fluctuation
Bed, AC and lighting were good but shower is not working and more over there is no exhaust fan in the toilet . More over in the parking area the flooring is very very bad facing damage to my car tyres while tacking the car out and in. The platform edge is very dangerous.
Food is good but rate is high and waiting period too. We can take food out side . There is only one person in Dinning area. Hence they have to take care in food department.
They have to upgrade in food and need staff for rooms. The room phones are not working. and Car Parking need to improve.
Rooms are neat and clean
Non availability of restaurant
Nice hotel and nice location. It was clean and we were satisfied.
Good air condition
Wash room needs to be kept clean
This is my favourite place every time I visit the temple. Well maintained and beautiful view of kamalalayam.
Everything
Nil
Rooms were spacious, clean and very neatly maintained. Very near to temple..
1) Parking was very messy. Watchman was very impolite, he have not opened the parking gate at first instance. We have to cut our car in narrow path and went inside the parking. After watchman realized, our car cannot be parked in the slot as per his wish, he again asked us to exit and enter through another pathway to enter parking. He could have done this at first instance as we were very tired after visiting multiple temples. He was very rude to us, once manager came into the picture, he apologized. Very frustrating as I booked this hotel taking parking into consideration. 2) They have recently open restaurant in this facility. Prices were very high and taste was average. Would be great if this can be accommodated.
Very near to main temple
A lot of mosquitos found in bathroom
BF is not part of the package and has to be paid seperately. Limited South Indian items such as Dosa, Idly, Pongal, Poori for Breafast in a small kitchen resturant. Very clean and healthy food. The cost was very nominal.
Car parking area is not maintained well. Food waste from the marriage hall creates a foul smell. Security personal need to be posted at the entrance and car park.
Nice hotel to stay good hygiene and cleanliness and food not well and AC switch was problem in the hotel
Clean and good room
No good hotels nearby. Need to travel atleast 10 min by vehicle for food. But nearby eatery can help if you dont look for lavish dining experience.
One of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in a two tier town. Very well maintained and friendly staff and best is the staff don’t expect tips which is very much appreciated. 100% recommendations for family stays and eat place in Thiruvarur.
In the prime location, nice &humble staff
No kettle ,
Good location. Neat and clean. Value for 6
Restaurant is very very poor. No taste. No variety. Please book without breakfast. Really disgusting
Pls dont qualify this as a hotel
Booking.com should seriously review and re-qualify this property to determine whether it meets even the minimum standards to be listed as a hotel. The room had no air-conditioning, the space was extremely cramped, and the toilet was both unhygienic and poorly maintained. The floors were dangerously slippery, there was inadequate staff support, and there was no visible physical security on the premises. This property fails to meet basic expectations for cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort and should not be marketed as a hotel on your platform.
Location and cleanliness
X
The property is clean and well maintained. Location is very near to Thyagaraja temple in Tiruvarur and just opposite to the temple tank.
Location is excellent to walk to the temple, that was our main intention though.
Having functions at the lower level was a little inconvenient to walk in and out of the property. Feels very uncomfortable and lack of privacy.
Lots of shops nearby and very close to temple
May need to place few more lights accessing rooms. Room Corridor passage does not have proper lighting.
Clean and well maintained room, location
There is no restaurant in the hotel. Also there is no good vegetarian restaurant nearby.
Location…
Nothing
The reception is good, room maintained clean and well, very near to temple.A.C was good. We enjoyed the stay and comfortable
Facility is good, neat and clean
Outside noise disturbed a lot during early morning. Room to be improved with noise proof.
Clean rooms, latest fittings. Very clean linen.
Doesn't have restaurant
Rooms are spacious and the interiors are good and comfort. Excellent service and the staffs are very kind.
It would receive the perfect had there been some basic arrangement for food inside the hotel premises.
Nice big rooms neat and clean - Good for family- Big car park area -
All were good
Never provide any Breakfast... funny question,,,
The behavior of the staff should be polite; they should even explain their rules in a clear and comfortable way. I have been to many star hotels across the globe ... expectation in this place is impossible
No attached restaurant . Also clubbed with marriage hall. Will be a big discomfort during wedding days.
Nice
No dining
Cleanliness, customer value and location
My stay at V-Inn was nothing short of exceptional, offering a perfect blend of comfort and spiritual serenity. The hotel’s proximity to the iconic Kamalalayam pond and view directly facing Thiruvarur Thyagaraja Temple was a highlight, allowing me to immerse myself in the divine atmosphere of the temple. The rhythmic chanting of sacred slogans from the temple filled the air, creating an uplifting and tranquil vibe that resonated deeply, transcending all boundaries of faith. As someone from the Muslim community, I found the spiritual energy truly inclusive and rejuvenating.
While my stay at V-Inn was largely wonderful, there are a couple of areas that could be improved to enhance the guest experience. The hotel’s marriage and function hall is a great feature, but it seems to impact parking availability. On a few occasions, I noticed that the parking area was quite crowded, likely due to vehicles from wedding guests, making it challenging to find a spot. Additionally, the parking area itself is unpaved, and during recent rainfall, this led to muddy conditions. As a result, guests had to walk through the mud, which caused sandals and shoes to get dirty and it carry mud to the hotel rooms. These are minor inconveniences in an otherwise delightful stay, but addressing the parking management and paving the parking area would make a significant difference for future guest
Neat clean rooms and helpful and welcoming staff. Excellent location.
Food was a challenge. As we had to look for good, hygienic vegetarian restaurants nearby . It was a challenge. In-house food facilities will be helpful for the guests.
Very good location overlooking some of the main temples close to restaurants, shops, markets, etc. Large, comfortable room, with modern bathroom and strong wifi.
Minimal service: no soap, no drinking glass, kettle, tea or coffee. No top sheet: only a thin blanket that may or may not be cleaned after each guest. The bathroom needed a good clean. Overall this hotel is way overpriced for what it offers.
Rates are 12-2pm even in non peak season.
Being situated very near the Temple and the Kamallayam Tank makes it a wondeful place to stay and enjoy the Divine bliss.
Parking space needs improvement.
It is near to a Hindu temple. It is nearly built with modern room facilities.
It does not provide breakfast. However, there are many food shops within a few yards.
New, clean, good AC
No restaurant, help with luggage in the mornings, car entry access.
the floor was very slippery. Hot water when opened, steam was coming instead of water !!!
floor was slippery
The front desk staff member was very cordial. It was a last minute reservation. Mr. Rajkumar from the hotel called me immediately after I booked and explained how to get to the hotel and helped with the purpose of my visit (temple visit). Thank you Mr. Rajkumar. He also checked with me to find out if anything can be made better in the hotel. The property is very close to the temple which makes it very convenient to visit.
I know the restaurant is getting ready. It helps, if there is restaurant on site.
We did take breakfast. The room was spacious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Near the temple. Good location.
I wish there were good restaurants nearby
