My husband felt a bit suffocated in a small brick room with no ventilation, only the open door. This stay would not be suitable for those wanting to stay indoors and rest up.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Very cosy little place, homely, and extremely clean. Comfortable big bed and nice linen. Thoughtful touches. We appreciated the tea and coffee, kettle, water jug & glasses etc. Lots of info, easy instructions to follow. Great location for the train and ferry. Absolutely no problems.
A tiny irritation was the nose of the door handle - so that going out to the loo in the middle of the night woke my partner up. Small thing.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Lovely comfortable room with every detail covered. Very clean and nicely furnished. Tea and coffee and biscuits in room. Pretty outside courtyard garden. Little shared sitting/tv room with mini kitchen space with hot drinks and toast for breakfast. Fridge, small freezer space, toaster and microwave provided. There is a shared bathroom ( with another room) down a small outside covered walkway with 2 toilet cubicles, one nice warm electric shower cubicle and 4 communal sinks. Everywhere is very clean and airy and there is a basket of everything you could need- shampoo, hand cream, sanitary products etc. The location is great with local cliff walk by the harbour, lovely nearby memorial garden and wonderful Kirwan’s garden- don’t miss it! There is a Spar supermarket nearby too and very close Tasker takeaway for fish and chips. It was an ideal overnight stay before the early morning ferry. The host Dave, called us to confirm arrival time and parking, and sent us a detailed message about location and access.
It was fine for us (and I think we were only residents ) but be aware that the bathroom ‘block’ is a communal space for residents of both rooms.

Overpriced when there was no on suite bathroom . Booking.com did not respond to query regarding entry details. Email notifying those details did not arrive until the day after. Too late to take avail just as well owner responded to phone call

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026The facilities in the room were good and there were thoughtful touches such as a heated blanket, fresh water and even playing cards. An excellent location to catch an early morning ferry. Although we weren’t welcomed personally, the hosts were good at communicating and offered to store our bikes securely.
The room was like a small garage or outhouse, only a high skylight so no view, or way of getting fresh air into the room. Claustrophobic. Would be nice to have some fresh milk in the fridge so we could have cereal for breakfast. Also wooden cutlery rather than plastic would be more sustainable.

Reviewed Jan 13, 2026It’s a really lovely oasis of calm in Rosslare. The room was comfortably furnished - really appreciated being able to make a cup of tea after my long drive! It was a cold night but the room heated up quickly with the heater and the bathroom was really clean and well stocked.

Still slightly in shock a week later. I would happily revisit Rosslare again and consider here for my stay if I'm with friends or a partner. The friendliest people you'll ever meet!

De matras in Nest 3 is compleet doorgelegen en is heel dringend aan vervanging toe. Hoewel we zowel professioneel als in vrije tijd heel regelmatig ergens verblijven moet ik jammer genoeg meegeven nog nooit op zo een slechte matras geslapen te hebben. Dit is snel te verhelpen

Reviewed Jul 11, 2025I came from the Ferryport, just a short 10min walk, it was very easy to find with the instructions. I met Dave, he was very welcoming. The space is like your own little hut, a lot of light and all the amenities you could need! The shared bathroom is very spacious and everything is nice and clean. A wonderful place, unfortunately I was there only for one night! Can't recommend enough!
