Quiet safe and solid
The showers, well equipped, comfortable beds, quiet neighbourhood good for buses into city.
Lack of clothes dryer, coffee pot and hot water ran out quite quickly.
L'espace de vie, le calme du quartier.
3ème chambre trop petites pour un couple, ( pas possible de mettre une valise) et bruyante car à proximité du chauffe eau. Pas de 3ème salle de bain comme annoncé !
Really clean spacious house. Close commute to Dublin city centre. Exceptional stay.
Location was great in a quiet nice residential area and near to relatives that we were visiting.
The overall cleanliness of the property was not to our expectations in fact it wanted a good bottom clean. We had to wipe all of the kitchen surfaces before we could use them, and when looking for pans and utensils they were in dirty cupboards the pans and utensils were not usable very grubby and very used. The toaster had crumbs all on top and underneath it and what looked like bean juice or sauce all over the side. The room sofa were very grubby and stained and didn’t look very inviting to be sat comfortable on during our stay. When unpacking we checked the beds and one of the beds bottom fitted sheet had lots of dark hairs and stains on,it didn’t look or smell as though it had been washed ,we had to strip another bed and use the fitted sheet,I contacted the owner to let her know about this and was told she would ask the cleaner about this. The towels were very old and in one bedroom only 1 bath towel was left and 3 hand towels rather odd.
very clean and cozy house, plenty of space
lack of door locks, creaking floors
Comfortable and everything we needed for a great stay. Hosts made great and helpful contact.
Nothing
Very well equipped, clean, good size rooms.
Few of the lamps didn’t work. Wasn’t easy to find in the dark, could do with light outside to show the door number.
House great for a family, area is a safe, quiet residential area, handy to have parking. Variety of shops located in the vicinity. Very comfy beds. Did not need to contact host for anything, she provided all info that was needed.
A blind or blackout curtains in back bedroom as the other bedrooms were nice and dark, but the sun was shining in the back bedroom at 6am.
Great space, well set up kitchen and lovely garden
Worth having a car, we found buses bit unpredictable
Well Kept very clean
Had room to move and spread out
Beds a bit tight for couples
Very nice house for family vacations to Dublin. Location is outside the city center but it is easy to drive to.
House was exactly as described and pictured. Easy access and good WiFi. Comfortable and great value for money. Great comms from Angelica.
Travelled for a game of rugby at the Aviva. Distance from airport was fine on the map but traffic was shockingly bad. Worth noting as we used Uber a lot to get around.
Great space, clean easy to get about
Walls paper thin. Neighbour during days plays music - it’s literally like they are in same room. Lady likes to sing but probably needs some singing lessons.
Self catering - mainly good and having basic leftover foods in the cupboard was appreciated. Some essential equipment was missing, though when the host was contacted about these they provided them the next day. The host was responsive. One of the showers worked and was nice and hot. The beds were comfy. The kitchen tiles are lovely. The sofas are good. There is a washing machine (but no rack, dryer or line).
It just didn't make for a great start after a long journey when you sit down to dinner and there isn't enough cutlery even for the number of people who could stay there, and there's no oven glove so you burn your fingers operating with a tea towel. Some of the windows don't fit well so either don't open or they jam open, and, there's no functional thermostat so the heating needs to be manually switched on or off. The incredibly loud motor pump shower in the main bathroom (where incidentally we could not see a plug to use the bath) cut out intermittently before stopping completely. The house creaks loudly at every step upstairs. So between the incredibly loud shower motor and the floorboards it's certainly not quiet, though the area itself is. It's slightly damp in the bathrooms too, including a few of the clean towels.
Great to have 3 bathrooms and an en-suite. Makes travelling much easier for both personal and work events.
A little chilly on arrival but heating instructions clear and easy to follow
Exceeded our expectations. Large kitchen which is very well stocked with crockery etc, everything provided. Plenty of seating and large dining table. Easy to follow instructions for heating and hot water. House was warm, water hot, washer/dryer handy as we’re visiting from overseas, close to motorway and shops. Didnt use outside furniture or bbq. Parking for one medium car in driveway.
Nothing major. Hot water pump upstairs noisy when someone is showering.
For us, the location was ideal….half an hours walk from our son and wife, plus easy bus ride into Dublin. Lidl supermarket within 15 minutes walk. It was a very comfortable house….excellent heating , hot water. Good dining room table to sit at.
The kitchen could have been better equipped , as in oven proof dishes, a salad bowl. The sofas could do with a clean….very stained.
Spacious and well equipped. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean.
Off road parking. 3 bedrooms. Downstairs toilet for elderly
Brilliant house, quiet area and easy links to Dublin Suited the toddlers brilliantly
Photos don't do the house justice
