Reviewed Sep 10, 2026The location was excellent, in a quiet part of Zwolle along a lovely canal. The check-in was really easy using the coded key box, and our host was able to give us a little flexibility with our check-in time too. The accommodation itself was spacious and clean, with a good seating area, a kitchen area and comfy bed. The shower room was also super clean and good, and there was a washing machine and bicycle storage if needed too. There was even a bench at the front, so we could sit with a coffee and watch the world go slowly by. The food left for our breakfast was outstanding. There was tea, coffee, bread, cheese, ham, yogurts, part-baked croissants and rolls, cereal, milk and bananas. In fact we didn't come close to running out of supplies during our stay. It made life so much easier without having to stock up at a supermarket for these things.
It was all really lovely. As it was on the ground floor it was not easy to enjoy the view in the evening without people looking in at us, but that is such a minor point.

Het bed lag heerlijk en het ontbijt heeft echt onze verwachtingen overtroffen, kwark, yoghurt, crackers, broodjes en beleg alles was aanwezig, het was zo goed geregeld echt fantastisch! Er was ook een goed koffiezet apparaat en meer dan genoeg koffiecupjes. De badkamer was ook top, goeie douche en heel ruim.

Overal hangen briefjes met uitleg. Dat oogt knullig.

Eigenlijk niks. De inrichting is niet 'gelikt' maar alles wat je nodig hebt is er.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026The canal front location is a short walk to all of old town Zwolle. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and has lots of light. It is the only unit in the building for rent. The mini fridge and the cupboards are stocked with food and drinks for the renters enjoyment. Bicycles are available to use. There is a lovely bench in the sun outside on the canal for our use. The landlord is a pleasure and a wealth of information.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025Отличная квартира, прекрасно оборудованная. Холодильник забит вкусностями, большое спасибо! Живёшь, как местный житель, рядом с центром города в тихом районе. От вокзала идти пешком 20 минут. Хозяин живет в соседней квартире.
В квартире есть тостер и микроволновка, в принципе, этого достаточно, но не помешала бы плита, чтобы можно было бы пожарить яичницу утром. Также хотелось бы, чтобы были большие полотенца для тела. Есть много маленьких полотенец и совсем нет больших. Но это мелочи. Квартира прекрасная и мы остались очень довольны.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2024Nice spacious appartement in a super location for exploring this lovely city. The centre is a short walk crossing one of the three bridges close by. I was a little concerned about possible noise from the street outside but that was unfounded as we slept very well on the comfortable bed. The apartment has everything needed for a short stay. There's even a washer/dryer if you should need one. The bathroom was nice and fitted with a good shower which you certainly don't find everywhere. You make your own breakfast which we think is a great idea. The owner had stocked the fridge generously and had provided more than enough bread, rolls and croissants (to bake in the mini oven provided) as well as other fruit and cereals/snacks.
Lets be clear. There is NOTHING not to like. My wife did feel that the apartment was "purely functional" and could be even better than it already is given a little "woman's touch" concerning decor. That is of course a very personal view and subject to discussion. In any case, a well deserved score of 9 from us. We would definitely return if we visit Zwolle again. Recommended.

Reviewed May 30, 2023I booked this room by accident and arrived at 11:30 at night. I called the landlord in advance and told him that I would be arriving late, even though I knew it was by the river, and was very surprised when I arrived at midnight, with the moonlight reflecting in the river, the local young man were talking and singing very loudly in the neighbourhood, at about 12 o'clock they left to quieten down, the room is Dutch style and surprisingly our leader Chairman Mao was hanging on the wall, I wonder if the landlord is aware that, it’s not bad. The landlord was very responsible and I regret not waking up early to walk around the neighbourhood and parking by the river was free. Would highly recommend this room!
Some people commented on the simplicity of the breakfast and the fact that you can make a bowl of cereal when you arrive in the middle of the night is very satisfying, I chose this place because I wanted to experience the local environment and not for a big meal.
