Everything was wonderful! The staff was friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious and each uniquely designed. The breakfast was phenomenal and we enjoyed dinner one evening at Eternal as well. The whole property was lovely.

Très bon accueil par un Monsieur vers 20 heures gentillesse, politesse et discrétion. Un. Superbe petit déjeuner dans une très jolie salle.

Le ton, parfois un petit peu comminatoire et un chouïa désagréable de la gouvernante d’origine Europe, de lest. Je recommande l’exceptionnel restaurant du cheval Blanc, juste à côté de l’hôtel pour le dîner. Car l’hôtel ne fait pas de service de Restaurant, en tout cas le soir

Un magnifique hôtel, à la fois traditionnel et parfaitement moderne. Notre chambre en angle donnait d’un côté sur la magnifique ville de Vezelay et de l’autre sur la campagne environnante. Les lits sont très confortables. Le bar du rez de chaussée est un magnifique endroit pour boire un verre tranquillement.

La chambre était de la taille minimale nécessaire pour être confortable pour deux personnes et les deux chaises qui y étaient installées l’encombraient un peu.

Wir haben uns im Hôtel Restaurant de La Poste & du Lion d'Or sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Hotel hat einen ganz besonderen Charme und liegt ideal in Vézelay, sodass man von hier aus alles wunderbar zu Fuß erkunden kann. Ein ganz großes Plus war für uns die Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Bei den sehr heißen Temperaturen während unseres Aufenthalts war sie wirklich Gold wert und hat für einen angenehmen und erholsamen Schlaf gesorgt. Das Zimmer war stilvoll und selbstverständlich sauber. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel mit viel Atmosphäre, einer hervorragenden Lage und einem sehr guten Restaurant. Gerade bei einem Besuch von Vézelay würden wir hier jederzeit wieder übernachten.

La situation idéale au pied de la montée vers la cathédrale, le restaurant, l’amabilité du personnel. Le restaurant vaut vraiment la peine: très beau menu raffiné à un rapport qualité/prix remarquable. A ne pas manquer. Le seul bémol: un service aimable et efficace mais trop rapide.

Hormis les salles de bains rénovées, un aspect un peu vieillot -pas vieux- qui présente néanmoins un certain charme.

Personnel très avenant et professionnel. Literie très confortable. Chambre et salle de bain spacieuses. Décoration élegante. Petit déjeuner gourmand. Ambiance relaxante (piano). Vue magnifique sur les coteaux.

A lovely room with super views over Vezelay. Terrific quality bedlinen and very friendly staff. The breakfast itself was wonderful with a terrific choice of things to eat and the breakfast room was really lovely: elegant and understated with thankfully no music!

There was no parking available outside the hotel so we had to park some way away and had to pay, which was a shame.

Great location. Pretty village. Nice restaurants to eat in evening.

Le repas du soir , avec seulement deux menus , pas de cartes! Un repas à 64€ , plus que moyen! À déconseiller !

Hotel extra, joli, bien placé. Personnel très accueillant. Petit déjeuner très bien. Par contre évitez le restaurant. C'est tout le contraire: prétentieux et cher, personnel mal formé (Chef de rang : "on va pas vous la faire à l'envers madame" ).

Les oreillers trop épais !

Le personnel est très accueillant et attentionné. L’hôtel est idéalement situé par rapport aux sites touristiques. Une belle vue, beaucoup de propreté et de confort, et une cuisine délicieuse. Tout m’ a beaucoup plu.

Clim un peu poussive il faisait 26 dans la chambre avec la clim sur 22. Il faudrait fermer les volets la journée lors des canicules.

Ci hanno proposto prima una camera nel corpo secondario, sottotetto da raggiungere uscendo dal retro dell’hotel e passando nel parcheggio e salendo le scale a piedi. Ci siamo lamentati e ci hanno proposto un’altra camera, sempre sottotetto e sempre da raggiungere con le scale, piccolissima ma almeno nell’edificio principale. Non ci siamo, inaccettabile offrire stanze così.

La chambre "supérieure" n'a aucun équipement d'un 4 étoile. La chambre était petite. étroite et mal meublée comme un 2 étoiles.

Très beau emplacement qui permet une belle visite de la vieille ville, l'accueil est très sympathique, le coin bar très agréable, très bon petit déjeuner.

L'établissement ne prend pas les chèques vacances. A notre arrivée la chasse d'eau ne fonctionnait pas mais la personne à l'accueil a été très réactive et le problème a été vite résolu. La clim est plutôt bruyant et pas optimum. Il faut penser à fermer les volets dans la salle de bain le soir car absence de rideaux qui nous cachent de l'extérieur

Notre chambre offrait une vue imprenable sur Vézelay, magnifique au lever du soleil!

Lovely location on our road trip over many days heading back to ferry. Staff were very friendly and nice

The noise! We had no idea the juggernauts would come through on the road throughout the night. We had barely any sleep in our room facing the road and air con made a terrible noise. Fortunately, as the hotel restaurant was v limited and v expensive, we found a very good, friendly restaurant in the very interesting town.

We had a lovely stay. The staff was great, and they facilitated a room for us for an additional night before our stay, due to an issue we had before arrival in our journey. They provided us with a fantastic room at a great price, and our stay was very nice. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Location is fantastic. The attention is superb. The place has a charming atmosphere and the surroundings are great. The outdoor space is also great, with a nice set of terraces where you can have breakfast or a drink at the bar.

Le lieu de manque pas de charme et est proche du centre.

Nous avons reçu les chambres situées au 5 ieme étage en pleine canicule. La climatisation n’était pas très efficace et très bruyante. Nous avons essayé d’aérer la nuit mais nous entendions le bruits des personnes attablées aux terrasses voisines. Le prix était élevé et ne contenait pas le petit déjeuner ni les taxes. Bref notre nuit a l’hôtel tout confort en famille s’est avérée plutôt ratée. Signalement à l’employée mais pas un petit geste de compensation… dommage.

Hotel muy bonito y con historia. Ubicación perfecta, a la entrada de Vezelay. Habitación muy amplia y cómoda. Personal muy amable. Terraza agradable.

El aire acondicionado no enfriaba mucho. La decoración de nuestra habitación (en la buhardilla) era un poco anticuada. Desayuno caro.

L'accueil, la prise en charge, ... pratiquement tout, sauf que nous n'avons pas déjeuné ou dîné sur place. Une prochaine fois !

La climatisation vieillissante. Le prix exorbitant du petit déjeuner. 25 euros pour du jus orange et de la brioche instrustrielle. Des insectes dans le lit. Pour un 4 étoiles, on s''attendait à beaucoup mieux.

De ruime kamer, het terras aan de voorkant van het hotel en de hotelbar inclusief de dame die daar werkte.

Wij zaten in een apart gebouwtje achter het hotel wat echt 'weggestopt' voelde. Het personeel bij aankomst (receptie) vonden we niet heel klantgericht.

Lovely places to sit outdoors with a drink and to have breakfast. Very comfortable. It was our wedding night and they gave us a special room which we loved and we even had a little terrace to watch the sunset one evening.

I wish the windows had black out curtains so we could have slept later. Sunrise is early here.

De locatie, schitterend gelegen in het mooie plaatsje Vézelay. De kamer en het bed waren ook prima.

Het ontbijt verliep wat rommelig. De tafels waren niet gedekt en de opstelling van het ontbijt wat onlogisch.

Das Hotel de la Poste ist sehr gut gelegen mit einem grossen Parkplatz vor und neben dem Haus. Die Sehenswürdigkeit ist einfach zu Fuss zu erreichen. Das eigene Restaurant kocht fantastisch! Mit einem tollen Service. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und freundlich. Es herrscht eine offene und herzliche Atmosphäre. Es gibt auch eine Bar mit Garten und Liegestühlen.

Die Zimmer haben einen etwas antiken Touch…sind aber sehr sauber!

Eten restaurant is buitengewoon mooi opgemaakt maar niet bijzonder smaakvol.

Die Lage ist sehr praktisch um Vezelay zu Fuß zu erkunden. Frühstück ist wirklich sehr gut gemacht und man kann es schön auf der terrasse genießen.

Das Hotel ist unglaublich schlecht gegen Lärm isoliert. Jeder LKW der vorbeifahrt kommt kaum gefiltert durch das fenster. Das schlimmste ist aber das Nachbarzimmer. Man hört alles, wirklich ALLES... was im Badzimmer dort passiert. Die Klimaanlage generiert alle 10 MInuten eine 5 Sekunden lang lauten Brummen, der einen permament hindert einzuschlafen. Es war durch diese Probleme leider eine sehr schlechte Nacht. Darf bei einem 4**** Hotel und 220€ die nacht auf keinem Fall sein. Ich reise viel geschäftlich und vernünftige Kettenhotels bieten für die Hälfte der preis eine viel bessere Nacht. Tut mir leid aber es war nicht gut.

Vezelay is a small, unique, ancient place. Staying here in. Classic hotel in the middle of town in an air conditioned room was a dream in the heatwave. It felt like old France at it's best..

A few handrails for people like me with walking problems would be great. Also dietary choices like sugar free.

High class throughout. Lady on reception when we arrived early at 2pm was very helpful. Very comfortable bed and superb linen. Breakfast was superb!

Male receptionist was very abrupt although not rude didn’t make me feel at ease. A lot of noise from above just people walking about but not nice.

The location in Vezelay was fabulous. The staff were lovely. We were there in a heatwave and the aircon was very needed. Parking was easy out the front. €7 for 24 hours.
