Reviewed Aug 24, 2026La casa está en un lugar precioso, al lado de un canal. La casa y habitación es muy confortable. Tenía parking. Está relativamente cerca del centro de Brujas. (se puede ir caminando en unos 30 min) Alain el propietario es muy simpático y agradable.
La limpieza y arreglo de la habitación diario no está incluido en el precio . Para el cambio de toallas y el retirar la bolsa de basura tienes que pedirlo expresamente al propietario.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026La struttura è molto particolare e ti sembra quasi di entrare in un’altra epoca. Nel complesso la nostra esperienza è stata positiva anche se occorre comunque sapersi adattare al contesto in cui si è e quindi in una classica casa belga di inizio secolo, con qualche manutenzione da fare e senza aria condizionata (soprattutto se le estati roventi come questa diventeranno la routine). Nonostante la distanza dal centro, a noi la posizione della struttura è piaciuta moltissimo trattandosi di un quartiere tranquillissimo di villette e parchi gioco lungo il canale che collega Bruges e Damme. Ad ogni modo con il bus 6 in 10 minuti si è in centro, se non si vuole fare il “giro lungo” a piedi. Parcheggio in loco gratuito molto apprezzato (raggiungere la struttura non è facilissimo perché il navigatore non spiega bene che occorre proprio entrare e percorrere la “pista ciclopedonale” sull’argine del canale). La colazione è davvero FENOMENALE, abbondante (sia di dolce che di salato) e servita sull’alzata per torta a 3 livelli stile the delle cinque inglese. Sicuramente il fiore all’occhiello del B&B. Altra nota positiva, il numero di asciugamani a disposizione visto le ristrettezze che solitamente si hanno nelle strutture alberghiere. La gentilezza del proprietario è sicuramente un plus non da poco, che ti rende ancora più piacevole il soggiorno. Ultimo ma non ultimo, il terrazzo al primo piano…sicuramente una chicca se si vuole mangiare qualcosa in struttura o rilassarsi con una tisana guardando le stelle.
Purtroppo essendo una casa d’epoca, ci sarebbe un po’ più di manutenzione da fare. Per esempio nel nostro bagno lo scarico della vasca non funzionava (come letto in altre recensioni) per cui purtroppo ti toccava fare la doccia con i piedi a mollo nell’acqua “sporca” che ristagnava per un buon quarto d’ora prima di scendere completamente giù nello scarico. In generale i sanitari avrebbero bisogno di una rinfrescata/sostituzione. Anche la pulizia del potrebbe essere migliorabile. Infine la mancanza di aria condizionata può essere purtroppo un punto a sfavore abbastanza importante, considerato che le estati sono sfortunatamente sempre più calde. Mi spiace per questi piccoli nei perché basterebbe davvero poco (una rinfrescata dei bagni e una pulizia un po’ piu accurata) per rendere la struttura qualcosa di magico e con un rapporto qualità/prezzo più adeguato.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Dispone de 3-4 habitaciones, la nuestra para 2 personas pequeña, pero cuarto de baño reformado y bien, cuenta con pequeña nevera dentro al igual que el calienta leche. Desayuno correcto preparado por anfitrión. Muy tranquila la estancia y exterior con zona juegos infantil y bicicletas adulto para alquilar. Pàrquing gratuito en jardín. Finalmente la estancia fue correcta.
Pensaba que era un hotel de la cadena B&B y resultó ser casa particular de habitaciones. Decoración casa nefasta para mi, muy recargada y tipo "brocantier" El GPS no lo localiza y está muy mal indicado acceso que es por pista preferencial peatones y ciclistas. Escalera acceso habitación muy estrecha y con dificultad ... No adaptado. El desayuno empezaba 8'30h un poco tarde creo, Terraza compartida con otra habitación. Al llegar después de una hora intentando localizar el acceso nos dieron ganas de buscar otro hotel, pero finalmente fue satisfactorio.

Remarque tout à fait indépendante de l'accueil convivial , il manque d'une signalisation évidente pour trouver le lieu car le GPS nous emmenait de l'autre côté de l'eau; quand on ne connait pas la région, difficile de se resituer.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Its not possible to find the hotel on the google maps without additional information, which the hotel staff don’t provide. Certain things in the hotel require renovation. During our 3 days stay no cleaning was done, and the spider web remained hanging from the ceiling. The host is very unpleasant, he deliberately closed the door to the hotel when my son was outside in the yard. After our check out he started to write us that we have broken smth and claimed additional payment, which had no basis at all. So I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

Jedyne czego nam brakowało , to brak elektrycznego czajnika żeby zrobić sobie poranną kawę. Śniadanie serwowane było od godz. 9 , a kawę chciało się trochę wcześniej.

Keine Möglichkeit bei der Hitze konnten wir was kalt stellen. Beim Frühstück haben wir 3 Tage die gleichen Brötchen bekommen. Es wäre toll wenigstens ein frisches Brot zu essen und nicht das was wir am Montag übrig bekommen haben am Mittwoch zu bekommen. Die Bilder zeigen nicht die Realität.

Da distância a que fica do centro de Bruges, ao fim do dia custa bastante. Não gostei de não ter havido limpeza do quarto, nem mudança de toalhas, nem de lençóis. Nunca tal me tinha acontecido. O espaço parece um museu desorganizado, cheio de peças desajustadas. O dono parece ter parado no tempo.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025We spent Christmas at Alain’s little house in Bruges, and it was a truly special experience. The cottage is small and charming, beautifully decorated for Christmas with a lovely tree and ornaments throughout the house, creating a warm “home away from home” feeling. Even though we were far from our own home, it made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and in the true spirit of the holidays. The location is excellent — right next to the river, with a peaceful and relaxing view. The area is very quiet, without noise, which makes it perfect for resting and enjoying the surroundings. The rooms have a more traditional, older style due to the furniture and equipment, but this actually added to the cozy and old-fashioned Christmas atmosphere. That said, a few improvements would make this place even more desirable. The mattress should be replaced, as it is not very comfortable. Some general updates would also help, such as a more modern TV, new curtains, and a new shower curtain in the bathroom. A small renovation to refresh the interior would really enhance the overall experience. Breakfast was good, although we found the selection of cold cuts and cheeses a bit limited. However, Alain was very kind and brought us more when we asked. Overall, this is a lovely and charming place in a beautiful, quiet location, with great potential to become even better with a few updates.

No me gustó muchas cosas. Camas incómodas, ducha con cortinas con humedad, desayuno muy escaso y básico. Lo peor la actitud del propietario. Bajamos mi madre 830 para desayunar y subimos después a la habitación a coger las maletas, ciado bajo mi hijo a las 930 para desayunar le pus micos problemas y se negó a sacarle de desayunar. Solo leído un chocolate y dos pastelitos. Aún estábamos en horario de desayuno ya que en antes de las 10 y estábamos solas, ya que solo debe alquilar una habitación. Me parece un detalle muy feo y poco acogedor. Además es importante informaros que las dos noches que estuvimos allí sobre las 11 12 de la noche se corta la luz. Tuvimos que llamar incluso a bookingo porque nos dio mucha inseguridad pero es que además esto ocasiona que no puedes cargar móviles ni ningún dispositivo de noche. Sinceramente es una pena pero no lo recomiendo en absoluto. Por último, el internet tampoco va bien. Un desastre la verdad
