Gorgeous room located inside a museum. Vintage house very spacious area. Had an enormous bathroom, refrigerator and cappuccino machine inside the room. Nice outside sitting area too.

A little far from downtown area.

Such a gorgeous room. Wonderful access to buses to explore. Beautiful scenery right from the house. Interior is exceptional.

Colazione in camera consiste in affettati. formaggi, frutta, succhi, marmellate confezionate e latte tutto nel frigo in camera. Pane già in camera dalla sera prima. Bollitore e macchina del caffè. Camera con un bell'arredamento antico ma per niente funzionale. Prezzo esorbitante per il servizio offerto .

"Breakfast" is left in your room's refrigerator the day before. No instructions about area, rules and regs, or contacts in room. All the door locks seem very flimsy and easily pickable..

Jervell Guesthouse was a wonderful place to stay. The guesthouse was spotlessly clean, tidy, comfortable and full of character, with cosy beds that ensured a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was excellent, with a generous selection to start the day. Check-in was seamless, and communication throughout our stay was outstanding. The administration team went above and beyond to accommodate a personal request, which was greatly appreciated and made our stay even more special. A fabulous stay in a charming character home. I would happily return and highly recommend Jervell Guesthouse to anyone visiting the area.

Litt varmt da vi kom, tok litt tid og få rommene mer svale. Det kunne med fordel ha vært egg til frokost, f eks omelett og kanskje litt mer hvit skivet ost.

L’établissement offre une remontée dans le temps par l’originalité de son décor. Il est meublé essentiellement de meubles français d’époque Louis XVI ainsi que de vaisselle ancienne. La literie est très confortable et la salle de bain immense. Le petit déjeuner est prêt dans le frigo la veille au soir, il est bien mais il manque un laitage pour être complet. C’était notre deuxième passage dans cet hôtel en une semaine et nous avons eu le plaisir de rencontrer les propriétaires, ce qui nous avait manqué la première fois.

Un peu de difficultés à le trouver car il est bien caché en hauteur dans la végétation mais rien de grave.

Enkel og grei tilkomst. Stor parkeringsplass rett ved. Er litt utenfor sentrum, men det passet oss bra denne gangen. Koselig stort rom, stort bad og gode senger. Deilig frokost som sto på rommet da vi sjekket inn.

Fantastic old building with good views. The accommodation was spacious and the bed very comfortable.

The fridge was a bit noisy and the orange juice was frozen. I can't say the breakfast was impressive. I was expecting something better and in keeping with other hotels that provide breakfast. The hotel was self check in so there was no staff on site. Maybe morning snack provided would be less misleading!!!

Sehr schöne Räumlichkeiten in einem historischen Gebäude. Großes Zimmer, großes Bad. Sehr bequemes Bett. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus (mit steiler und enger Zufahrt allerdings). Informationen zum Check-in kamen rechtzeitig und alles hat geklappt wie beschrieben.

Das Frühstück wurde am Vortag in vielen Plastikverpackungen im Zimmer im Kühlschrank deponiert. Das passt nicht zum restlichen Ambiente.

Stilig gammelt hus. Flott rom. Stort bad. Enkel, men god frokost som ble satt inn i kjøleskap på rommet på ettermiddagen dagen før. Nært Sunmørsmuseet. Parkering rett utenfor huset, men veldig greit å ta buss til sentrum.

Litt støy fra veien. Støv under sofa og nattbord.

The room and the bathroom were very nice size and tastefully decorated. The view out the windows was nice. The overall old world elegance/feel of the place was great.

Breakfast was lackluster. If you are going to advertise yourself as a Bed and BREAKFAST you would theink the breakfas would be good. It was pre packaged the night before and placed in the refrigerator of the unit. Strange to say the least. I was disappointed. Portions of what they left for you were even small. I was in Norway for 11days and stayed at multiple places and this was by far the most underwhelming breakfast I had while in country.

Loved the view with the mountains and water. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was cozy and inviting. The trails right outside were wonderful.

Loved it. My only suggestion is a higher lamp beside the bed, I found the lighting hard to read in.

Thank you for your warm hospitality. The historical house itself is very charming — with its classic wooden floors and the elegant display area on the ground floor, which is beautifully set up for the public high-tea business. The bedroom facilities are well maintained, and the window views are lovely. I particularly appreciated the modern amenities in the spacious bathroom. Altogether, these elements work harmoniously to provide a comfortable stay with a delightful sense of history. The only thing that puzzled me a little was the long white cotton nightgown hanging on the wall at the corner of the staircase leading from the ground floor. I was curious about its meaning or purpose.

Kjøleskapet lagde for høy lyd, forstyrret søvn om natta.

Ein altes Herrenhaus mit speziellem Charme. Man muss es wirklich mögen, oder eben nicht. Ist eingerichtet wie ein Museum. Die Betten waren bequem. Die Größe des Badezimmers ist sehr geräumig. In den unteren Räumen kann man sich die Historie des Hausen noch was ansehen. Sah schön aus. Dem 19. Jahrhundert entsprechender Zustand und Erscheinung.

Also das vorbereitete Frühstück im Zimmer für den folgenden Morgen ist nicht das was man sich im Urlaub wünscht. Die Brötchen und das Knäckebrot waren nicht so gut. Von Raum zu Raum muss man eine recht hohe Schwelle überschreiten. Im Dunkeln kann das schon mal schmerzhaft werden. Also aufpassen. Die Fenster im Bad haben wir nicht einfach mal so auf bekommen...Ggf mit mehr Gewalt möglich? Haben aber vor uns sicher auch einige nicht geschafft...Daher Schimmelbildung an den Fenstern. Die Auffahrt zur Unterkunft...sagen wir mal so.. Auch sehr speziell. Wie/wo genau zu parken ist muss erraten werden. Hinweisschilder wären da wünschenswert.

Mooie authentieke kamers in een historisch gasthuis. De hal is prachtig en voorzien van houtsnijwerk. Bedden en douche zijn prima en het ontbijt wordt vooraf in je kamer geleverd, zodat je op elk moment kan ontbijten en met je dag beginnen. Wij vonden het een mooie locatie. Je hebt uitzicht op het openluchtmuseum dat zeer de moeite waard is.

La colazione in camera, preparata alla sera e lasciata in frigo della camera, molto modesta con possibilità di avere solo tè o caffè.

Correcte en erg nette kamer in een authentiek kader. Makkelijke uitvalsbasis om o.a. Alesund te bezoeken. Ligging iets buiten de stad. Parking bij de woning. Lekker verzorgd ontbijt. Vlotte communicatie met eigenaar.

Tip: Mini-koelkast in de kamer geeft ‘s nachts wat geluidsoverlast en stoort de lichte slapers onder ons, dit toestel kan eigenlijk beter naar een andere ruimte kunnen verhuizen.

L'ambiente soprattutto, in un contesto storico bellissimo perfettamente conservato, curato nei dettagli e pulitissimo. La stanza grande con un letto da principi, il bagno altrettanto grande, pulito, perfetto in ogni dettaglio, funzionale al massimo. La colazione in camera era ottima, bollitore per il the e macchina per caffè a disposizione. Infine, contattato l'host al nostro arrivo per un dubbio per l'apertura della porta con codice, ha risposto subito. Grazie

Non ho nulla da segnalare di negativo. Se proprio devo dire, il frigorifero in camera si attacca spesso ed è rumoroso, ma è un dettaglio.

Alojarte en esta casa te hace sentir como uno de los protagonistas de una obra de Ibsen. Casa tradicional muy bonita. Alojamiento muy amplio y limpio, con una decoración acorde a la época. Cama y almohadas cómodas. Los anfitriones son encantadores.

La idea de ofrecerte el desayuno en la habitación es muy buena, pero su puesta en práctica fallida. Es variado y correcto, estuvieron atentos al hecho de que no puedo comer gluten y me ofrecieron alternativas, pero al dejártelo servido desde el día anterior, el pan se queda chicloso. El resto de los alimentos se conservan en una nevera que está en la misma habitación y, oh sorpresa, hace ruido por la noche. Son detalles a tener en cuenta para un alojamiento que podría ser excepcional. Está a 3 kilómetros del centro de la ciudad, recomendable tener coche.

El encanto de este alojamiento está fuera de toda duda. Es muy único poderte alojar en una casa familiar de la época. Te sientes muy bien acogido solo por el hecho de que permitan entrar huéspedes. La habitación era muy amplia y muy bien decorada; y el baño muy cómodo.

No nos gustó que no hubiera nadie de personal a lo largo de nuestra estancia. Supongo que afectaba el hecho de que fuera agosto. Nos costó un poco abrir la puerta de la casa. Por otro lado, el hecho de que el desayuno te lo sirvan en la habitación tiene su aspecto positivo porque tienes mucha flexibilidad pero no compensa ya que está preparado con 24h de antelación y eso hace que pierda calidad (el pan era chicle). Además de que es poco abundante (no incluye leche ni ningún dulce). Por otro lado, para poder dejar el desayuno preparado, cada habitación cuenta con una nevera. Y hace un ruido constante que molesta durante la noche. Para solucionar este problema se podría poner la nevera en el baño, ya que es muy grande. De todas maneras, la relación calidad precio es buena.

I enjoyed the historic building and its location just outside Alesund. The room was immaculate and Auslag was really responsive and friendly despite being a busy lady with an event in the main house. Breakfast was served in the room which gave good flexibility.

Beautiful accommodations, comfortable sleeping arrangements, delicious breakfast.

The house! It's so beautiful it cannot be described in words or even with pictures. Everything was immaculate. Location is good just 2-3 bus stops away from the centre. And right next door to sunnmore museum....which is a very interesting place. Breakfast was good.. Beds are comfortable and room very clean. The hostess is very kind, responded to everything I asked promptly.

Since I had visited off season, there was only one guest besides us in the whole house and as it is already mentioned in the listing, they are not staffed 24/7, the staff comes in once a day to do their work and leaves ...so I missed having people around ...but ....this was a very trivial issue. We simply loved the place . Definitely recommend staying here.
