Traditional Nepali Style 1 & 2 BHK Apartments, Humble Home, Patan

The loft itself was amazing with the vibe of old traditional structure. The kitchen was equipped for cooking. The living cum dinning and bed rooms were cozy and nicee.

The toilet had no soap, shampoo and body wash or soap.

As beautiful as it looks online! Super welcoming staff, amazing location, traditional building, rooftop terrace, well lit, peaceful, beautiful and functioning facilities - a joy to stay in.

I bumped my head a couple of times, but I was warned and the doorway has a foam protector! I'm just tall :(

This is a beautiful apartment, dark wood, the traditional windows allow a lot of natural light. Modern bathroom with a waterheater for showers You are in the middle of the Patan Temple District...lots to see and do. Ram, The property manager, is readily available to help you with any questions or concerns

Not a complaint, just a "heads up". This traditional Nepal home, including the low doorways. Mind your head if you are tall.

We had a wonderful stay at Humble Home. The apartment is very cozy and has everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen, a clean bathroom, a comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, a drinking water dispenser, and more. There’s also a washing machine in the building, which we could use freely. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with plenty of useful tips. The only real drawback is the ceiling height, as it’s a traditional Newari house. My husband (186 cm) had to walk hunched over in most areas and still bumped his head a couple of times. Other minor issues include the hot water running out fairly quickly and the fact that you can hear other guests in the house—including their snoring. However, these were small inconveniences for us, as we truly felt at home here.

The Location is perfect! The Apartment is very clean! The Host is very heplful and friendly! The hot Watertank in the Bathroom could be bigger, because you can only shower around some minutes. The Neighbours were noisy. All in all I recommend this accommodation very much! Thank youu for your great Hospitality! Dhanyabat!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Newari traditional buildings with their thick brick walls keep warm in winter and cool in summer. When renovating the building the ceiling heights were raised which makes this perfect for modern needs. Access to the flat is via the traditional wooden stairs which are perfectly fine, but not for those with limited mobility. The house manager and housekeeper are around during the day to help carry bags. The beds have comfy thick mattresses and the bathrooms well designed with enough hot water from the water heater after it is switched on for half an hour. A large fridge and well-equipped kitchen (a bonus having cook knives which are actually sharp and good quality, and plenty of washing up liquid). The main bedroom(s) are in the middle of the house making them well insulated from street noises, which in any case are not as irksome as in many busier places of Kathmandu/Patan. The owner is very helpful and quick to respond to requests. He will organise a local taxi pickup from the airport which is worth it as the taxi will know the best way to get to the apartment and drop you at the door, price is comparable to the pre-paid airport service. The apartment is great value for money. The main apartment has a double bedroom and if you want more bedrooms then book the smaller, connected one above which has another double and an eves room with two single beds. The upper floor has another bathroom and a private balcony. A mattress can be added to the lounge area if you need an extra bed in the main flat. The shared washing machine is available for use with a supply of washing powder. There are nice views of the snowy peaks of Ganesh Himal, Langtang and Gaurishanker from the top terrace, perfect for a sundowner - as well as drying your laundry. If you want to be immersed in old town Patan then this is perfect. Patan Durbar square is close by, and magical strolling through at night time taking in the sights.

I loved the great hospitality by the owner. Absolutely in loved with wooden vintage interior. It felt like I was in a different era. I accidentally lost my keys but he was so kind to not charge me extra for spare keys.

While taking shower, the hot water won’t last long enough. The bins in the bathroom and bedroom were too small.

It was a wonderful stay with traditional vibes,very close to patan durbar square, spacious apartment with living area dining area and facilities like kitchen washing machine ,you can find your all needy stuff nearby and the host Mr. Girish ji is so welcoming and helpful person..

the internet was a bit erratic . And i think for senior citizens there should be a railing on the steps. The traditional rope hangers are a bit unsteady . I would have preferred to have a night staff on the premises in case of emergencies .

Beautiful traditional apartment, located in one of the best áreas in Patán (historical buildings and sites). It is like going back in time, locals make you feel part of the neighbourhood from the second day, do not miss the chance of staying in Humble Home if you want to experience true Newari culture. Also staff is really profesional, solve any issue in minutes.

When i walked in that apartment i was shocked on how clean,organized and everything was available to my needs , the fridge was clean and usable, drinking water and gas were available as well the bathroom was clean all around it was a 10/10 . Anytime i will be staying in patan i will be choosing this place.

The stove works but no pots or pan to cook with , cutlery and crockeries were provided

The appartment is very nice, all essentials for my needs were available and provided to me timely. It has a very traditional touch to it which i wanted and was impressed by the facility.

The self check-in could be improved on, though works well and Sanjay himself was always available.
