Kiepski dojazd do pokoju, bez parkingu, trzeba bagaże wnosić pod strome podejście do obiektu, pokój bardzo niski, bardzo ciemny i słabo wyposażony. Minimalny trawnik dzielony na trzech właścicieli.

Frühstück gab es nicht im Haus.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Schönes altes Holzhaus im nördlichen Tessin gelegen. Das Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich und man fühlt sich sehr wohl dort. Es liegt in einem kleinen Dörfchen oberhalb der Hauptstraße und es ist sehr ruhig und erholsam. Viele schöne Ausflüge kann man von dort aus machen, so z.b. die alte Gotthard-Paßstraße oder zum Nufenenpass, wo man herrlichen Berglandschaften begegenet. Toll ist auch eine 3-Pässe-Tour über Nufenen, Furka und Gotthard. Auch die großen Seen Lago Maggiore und Luganer See kann man über die nahegelegene Autobahn schnell und gut erreichen. Am allerbesten haben mir im Tessin die Täler der Verzasca und Maggia gefallen, die man von Locarno gut erreichen kann. Im Tal der Verzasca ist das Flusstal mit der alten Brücke bei Lavertezzo der absolute Höhepunkt. Im Tal der Maggia und dessen Nebentäler war wunderschön Bosco-Gurin oder das Bavona-Tal, mit vielen kleinen Dörfern mit uralten Steinhäusern. Das Tessin ist schön und eine Reise wert.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Here are several reasons why I strongly advise against booking this place: 1. The windows are tiny and offer no natural views whatsoever. 2. There are no shops or stores within 5 kilometers. 3. The bed is too short—I am 168 cm tall, and my feet hang off the end while sleeping. 4. The ceilings are very low, so you constantly have to watch out not to bump your head. 5. The staircase is extremely narrow, making it unsuited for families with luggage or small children. 6. The sound insulation is terrible; you can clearly hear conversations from next door. Swear to God, everything I’ve said is 100% true. I highly recommend NOT booking this place.

Se si vuole essere moooolto puntigliosi : Metterei tazzine e bicchieri in vetro e non carta , (mancava il latte in polvere) . Metterei il set di cortesia nel bagno . Darei la possibilità di pagare la tassa di soggiorno via TWINT ( forse c’era ma non mi è stato proposto ed io non ho chiesto perché per caso avevo soldi giusti 😉) . Mauro molto gentile via messaggi si è preoccupato sempre di come stesse andando il mio soggiorno . Ottimo ospite .

Niks aan de accomodatie maar als je last minute komt is het goed om van te voren even af te stemmen over ontbijt en diner mogelijkheden. Gelukkig was de host snel in respons en konden we de volgende dag bij het restaurant in het 'dorpje ontbijten'.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Brak śniadania. Pełne wyposażenie kuchenne co umożliwiało samodzielne przygotowanie potraw. Oryginalny wystrój, wyposażenie. Spokój, cisza, bezpośedni kontakt z naturą.
Trudny dojazd, miejsce parkingowe w dość znacznym oddaleniu, trudności z wnoszeniem ciężkiego bagażu na górę, strome , wąskie schody. A już szczególnie trudne wejscie na drugie piętro , gdzie było drugie łóżko. Tam pod dachem było szczególnie gorąco, brak klimatyzacji. Przy temperaturze na zewnątrz ponad 35,0 C. Łazienka bardzo ciasna. Wszędzie trzeba było uważać, aby nie uderzyć się w głowę ze względu na niskie belkowanie i bardzo niskie drzwi wejsciowe.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Absolutely amazing vintage house on top of the Mountains 🫠🏔️ Really exceeded My Expectations, everything was amazing, the house itself, the space (much more than I thought, it could have accommodated 5 people easily), the view, the vibe. Everything was like in a Movie set. I'd happily visit it again 🥰
Maybe the place could be a little bit better signalled as it was a little bit funny to find it 😄 But overall great experience, and the owner made things much easier. Thank you for everything 🤝

Vi havde en overnatning og ankom lidt sent med to små børn, og opdagede først der at vi ikke kunne parkere ved siden af hytten. Men dagen efter kørte vi alligevel op til hytten og pakkede bilen, så det kunne vi nok også godt have gjort da vi læssede af, det var en del nemmere.

We booked end of May. When we arrived, we had hundreds of dead insects/bees in the apartment. It looks like no one looked after the apartment for quite a while. our reservation was confirmed, I would have expected someone to make sure the apartment was in good condition. Especially as we arrived with small kids. This wasn’t the case. We didn’t stay there. We got fully reimbursed. The owner acknowledged the responsibility.

Там хочеться слухати тільки тишу. Абсолютний кайф. Власник був турботливим та весь час на звʼязку. Наполегливо рекомендую до відвідування!

Reviewed Jan 7, 2026Bellissimo chalet, arredato con gusto in un borghetto pittoresco. Magnifici il camino e la cucina. Gestore gentilissimo, ci ha aiutato tempestivamente quando non riuscivamo ad accedere il camino.
Unica piccola pecca, secondo noi, è la scala un po’ troppo ripida per accedere al soppalco.

Reviewed Nov 27, 2025Wow! What a stunning apartment (the 2 bedroom apt.) on a stunning location. One of the most fantastic bookings we’ve had. You can tell they’ve put so much love into the apartment with great eye to detail. It has everything you need, plus it’s very clean. We’ve only stayed for one night.
Keep in mind that there aren’t any restaurants or supermarkets nearby so be sure to bring your own food.

A limpeza é impecável e o espaço é incrivelmente amplo, confortável e acolhedor, daqueles lugares que nos abraçam e fazem sentir em casa desde o primeiro instante. O aquecimento torna tudo ainda mais aconchegante. É um alojamento de luxo a um preço surpreendentemente acessível, e a experiência superou todas as minhas expectativas. Saí de lá com o coração cheio… e com a certeza absoluta de que voltarei.
Nada a apontar, superou as minhas expectativas.

In casa c’è tutto l’occorrente per godersi a pieno lo chalet che risulta caldo e accogliente (possibilità di accendere la stufa, macchina caffè, bollitore ecc). Siamo stati veramente bene consigliatissimo!!

De hoogte van het huisje/ woning was voor mijn partner een probleem, echter stond dit wel duidelijk in de omschrijving en voor 1 nacht was het dan ook geen probleem.

De douchecabine was een beetje klein maar dat kan helaas niet anders, op zich wel prima te doen. Het is ook maar net wat je gewend bent. ☺️

Het plafond was erg laag, dit staat ook in de beschrijving. In de douchecabine was het (omdat je dan iets hoger staat) voor mij niet mogelijk rechtop te staan. Er was erg weinig licht in het huisje. Door de verhuurder werd gezegd dat er een keuken in zat toen ik het navroeg, maar helaas kwam hij saar een aantal uur voordat we aankwamen op terug. Er bleek geen keuken te zijn, wat voor ons erg slecht uitkwam, zeker omdat we het 2 keer hadden nagevraagd.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2025This chalet is a nice experience. The reason why I give a 10/10 is that al standard commercial places become boring over time. This small chalet in the middle of the mountains is the exact opposite. The full wood interior and the low ceiling (I’m 1.83 and nearly touch the ceiling) made it really cosy. The bed is also great.
I would generally prefer to park my car next to the chalet but that is not possible due to the space literally not being there. Honestly, it didn’t matter because the parking is a 1 minute walk down the hill and it’s safe to leave all your stuff in the car.

Inappropriate parking and too far for motorcycles. Not suitable for motorcycles because of the terrain,there is a possibility of being run down. The price does not match the facilities. It had 2 towels equivalent for 4 while we were 4 people. The upper floor too narrow Toilet too small

Reviewed Oct 14, 2024The chalet was small, but perfect for a stopover on our way home from Lake Como. We loved the ruggedness of the location, so quiet with beautiful views in all directions. We had dinner in a Michelin rated restaurant in the next town over. The chalet was comfortable and clean. Close to museums and just south of the Saint Gotthard Pass.
Wish there were hiking trails a bit closer, The ceiling is very low, if you are over 6 feet don't stay here. Mattress needs an update. Bedding and other items were nice.

The room was advertised with a kitchen, photo of a kitchen. The manager said this was an accident and the room had only a micro refrigerator which was not plugged in, and a hot water pot. They messaged us that we should bring our own provisions as there isn’t a store or restaurant available. So we bought meat and cheese, milk and eggs, and then there was no way to keep the food from going bad. The manager argued about this mistake in the listing. We also mentioned that we were killing giant black carpenter ants. He again argued and said they don’t have ants. So we had to show a video. Again, he minimized this and said that black ants aren’t harmful. (They have a terrible bite) Tired of arguing with the manager. Take responsibility for poor listing details, and if a renter says there are ants, apologize and say that the housekeeper will set out traps! Done. Easy. Respectful. This manager was exhausting

The ceiling is definitely low. No basic cutlery (bring your own one if you have your breakfast with you).

Reviewed Nov 12, 2023Very cozy, , nicely appointed, alpine character. If you ever wondered what it feels like to be inside one of these iconic Swiss wooden houses perched on the green, conifer-clad slopes as you drive past, this is it.
The pictures of the room on its Booking.com page show a microwave and a coffeemaker. None of these was available, which is a pity when you arrive at dusk and yearn for a cup of warm milk. The only thing there was an electric kettle. Disappointing, given that there is no kitchen. The webpage list under “Kitchen” the aforementioned coffeemaker and kettle—only that there is no kitchen. The WiFi died two hours after arrival and never returned, despite the efforts of several people. All in all, the stay could, and should, have been more positively memorable.

I cannot say anything negative about the property but be warned that if you are over 5’5” your head will be close to the ceiling. :)
