Dive and Sleep - All Inclusive Diving Guesthouse - 3 Dives per day

Difficile de demander plus ! Tout était parfait. Les logements sont tout neuf et tout proche de la plage. Chaque jour les repas proposés sont succulents et toute l’équipe est au petit soin pour que vous ne manquiez de rien. Et puis les plongées se font en toute sécurité avec un matériel de qualité et des spots bien choisis en fonction de la météo. Je recommande vivement ce lieu pour satisfaire tout besoin de repos, confort et merveilleuse plongée.

My husband and I have just gotten back from a fantastic 6 night stay and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a diving getaway The dive masters were highly experienced and ensured safety at all times. My husband and I completed our advanced open water certification. We were taken to some incredible locations and saw a plethora of wildlife. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and a great place to relax after a long day of diving The entire team made sure that everything ran smoothly. The team are so lovely and friendly. Each meal was delicious and varied We hope to come back one day soon

We spent 5 fabulous nights at Dive and Sleep in late April 26. This will be quite a long review but hopefully answers questions that I had before we went. We bought esims before arrival so knew we should have Internet the whole time. dive and sleep has very good wifi but we wanted to be contactable whilst out on the boat etc. Before arrival. We booked via booking.com and messaged to check arrival details and how to get to the island. Midhoo confirmed that they organise the boat and after exchanging WhatsApp contact information he said he would send all the boat details and tracking information on the day we arrived. The information and directions arrived exactly as expected and gave very clear direction about where to go to get the boat and a tracker so we knew when it was almost there. Midhoo also contacted us to make sure we were on the boat and on our way. The boat was comfortable and takes around 2 hours from Male to Dive and Sleep. Midhoo will let you know what boat time works best for your arrival and departure. On arrival at the jetty we were met my Kawser and a tuk truck to take us and our cases the short distance to the resort. The island is very small so its very easy to walk around the whole island. The cost of the boat was added to our bill so we paid by card on checkout. Resort area. The resort consists of 4 rooms (will be 8 at some point soon) all the rooms are in 1 building and have great air-conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. The room we stayed in had a very comfortable double bed, a wardrobe, safe and small dressing table. There is also a door to the veranda area where you have a beach and sea view from the chairs. There is also a drying rail for wet clothes. The beach there is not a bikini beach that is further along but only a short walk. The room was simple, very clean and had a good amount of space, the shower was hot and powerful enough that even those of us with long thick hair can wash our hair easily.

Unser Aufenthalt auf Dhidhdhoo war schlichtweg perfekt. Wer das „echte“ Malediven-Feeling abseits der großen Resorts sucht und gerne taucht, ist hier goldrichtig. Der Transfer von Malé mit dem Speedboot nach Dhigurah und die anschließende Weiterfahrt mit dem Privatboot nach Dhidhdhoo war perfekt organisiert und hat reibungslos geklappt. Die Tauchbasis (ein großes Dankeschön an Jarda und das gesamte Team!) ist sehr professionell. Wir sind in kleinen Gruppen getaucht. Die Lage im Atoll ist unschlagbar. Wir waren innerhalb kürzester Zeit an spektakulären Plätzen. Highlights waren definitiv die Begegnungen mit Walhaien, Mantas und Haien. Kein Tauchgang ohne mindestens einen Quotenhai. Das Equipment ist top und man fühlt sich unter Wasser jederzeit sicher und bestens aufgehoben Unsere Unterkunft war modern, sauber und bot alles, was man nach einem langen Tauchtag braucht. Besonders die bequemen Betten und die Klimaanlage waren ein Segen. Das Essen war frisch, abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker – die Mischung aus lokaler und internationaler Küche hat uns begeistert. Auf individuelle Wünsche wurde sofort eingegangen. Dhidhdhoo selbst ist eine wunderschöne kleine lokale Insel. Service, der von Herzen kommt... Was diesen Ort auch so besonders macht, ist das Team. Man wird wie ein Freund empfangen und jeder Wunsch wird einem von den Augen abgelesen. Die herzliche Atmosphäre hat unseren Urlaub zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Wir konnten es zuerst nicht glauben. Aber im Preis ist tatsächlich das gesamte Equipment und drei Tauchgänge pro Tag enthalten. Für uns ein unschlagbares Angebot. Fazit: Ein absoluter Geheimtipp für Taucher. Wir planen schon für nächstes Jahr unsere Reise nach Dhidhdhoo

Einer der schönsten Urlaube, die wir je erlebt haben! Wir verbrachten 8 unvergessliche Tage auf der kleinen Insel Dhidhdhoo – und unser Aufenthalt im „Dive and Sleep“ war einfach außergewöhnlich. Die Unterkunft ist bewusst klein gehalten (nur vier Zimmer), was eine unglaublich persönliche und familiäre Atmosphäre schafft. Man spürt sofort die Liebe zum Detail: Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, makellos sauber und mit sehr bequemen Betten sowie hochwertigen Kopfkissen ausgestattet – perfekt zum Abschalten nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag. Auch kulinarisch wurden wir rundum verwöhnt. Das Essen war jeden Tag frisch, abwechslungsreich und unglaublich lecker. Besonders schön: Auf individuelle Wünsche wurde jederzeit eingegangen. Ein absolutes Highlight sind natürlich die drei täglichen Tauchgänge. Die Organisation, die Spots und die Betreuung waren erstklassig – ein Paradies für alle, die das Tauchen lieben. Was diesen Ort aber wirklich besonders macht, sind die Menschen und die Atmosphäre. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Farey (Mohamed), Midhoo und das gesamte Team – ihr habt diesen Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht und uns eine unvergessliche Zeit geschenkt. Wir hoffen sehr, dass ihr euch diesen einzigartigen Charme auch nach eurer geplanten Erweiterung bewahrt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Everything was amazing - superb stay with the best diving we have experienced in the Maldives and a very welcoming, approachable and knowledgeable diving community - Jarda was an incredible guide and precise with the dive locations, drop off points and diving. It was amazing diving with him and witnessing the beauty of the Maldives - we saw some stunning mega wildlife and each dive was a new experience. The boat staff especially Mohammed were amazing and great at ensuring safety and preparedness for each dive. Would 100% recommend staying here - the stay was super comfortable, spotless rooms and right next to a beautiful beach. Staff was amazing and catered to our every need. Really looking forward to being back!

Let’s be clear, this is a destination for divers who don’t want luxury but who do want the company of likeminded people and exceptional support from loyal and hardworking staff. The rooms are kept spotless and have everything you need for a stay. The WiFi is spot on so you can instantly upload the myriad videos/photos you will take as the diving sites are brilliant. On arrival, you will be taken to the shop and kitted out with everything you need - this will be kept in a personal numbered box. All your kit is rinsed and prepared for you everyday. The dive boat is large and equipped with safety equipment and a centreline cylinder rack. It is slow but this allows surface intervals between sites. It has a large rooftop sunbathing area too. I could go on for pages about this place but my advice is just go and try it.

Ich hatte bei Jarda und Midhoo einen der schönsten Urlaube meines Lebens, fest steht: 5 Tage auf der kleinen Insel Dhidhdhoo sind definitiv zu kurz! Was Jarda, Midhoo und ihr Team hier auf der kleinen, einheimischen Insel geschaffen haben, ist ein kleines Stück Paradies. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Die Zimmer sind modern, extrem sauber und laden zum Wohlfühlen ein. Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch – frisch, abwechslungsreich und jeden Tag ein Genuss. Ein absolutes Highlight sind natürlich die drei Tauchgänge pro Tag: Jeder einzelne Spot ist mit größter Sorgfalt ausgewählt. Hier geht es nicht um Sensationsjagd, sondern um respektvolles, nachhaltiges Tauchen. Wer gezielt auf Walhaijagd aus ist, ist hier vielleicht falsch – und genau das macht diesen Ort so besonders. Der Schutz des Unterwasserlebens steht klar im Vordergrund. Die Tauchausrüstung ist zudem in absolutem Top-Zustand. Ganz ehrlich: Ich wüsste nicht, was man hier noch besser machen könnte. Dieser Ort, das Team und diese Atmosphäre sind etwas ganz Besonderes. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen! Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Jarda, Midhoo und das gesamte Team für diese unvergesslichen Zeit. Wenn ich könnte, würde ich morgen direkt wiederkommen.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about my stay. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. A really nice community has been created, and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is superb and the views and island are breathtaking taking. I was very sad to have to leave.

- New, very clean, uniquely designed rooms. Very comfortable bed. - the island is still not touristy and the beautiful nature is preserved - very professional staff, everyone knows their job the best and everyone executes their job with the excellence - very tasty meals and freshly cooked food - diving equipment is new and well maintained If I have a chance in the future, I would go there again for sure.

It’s a perfect place for licensed divers, or to get your professional license there. If you want to get your license there, it’s worth checking and confirming before booking, how many days would you need to get the license, and if instructors are available. Also make sure that you don’t bring with you “old” dollars, or you are not given it as a change, because you will have troubles to use it.

Muy buena atención de todo el equipo, siempre preocupados que nada falte, buena comida y harto bebestible a libre disposición, bloqueador y after sun disponible para todos. El personal de buceo siempre atento y con una linda sonrisa. Está frente a la playa donde puedes usar bikini sin problema, en la tarde puedes ver baby shark en la orilla si es que tienes suerte.

Der gesamte Aufenthalt war fantastisch! Die Schnellboot-Transfers aus/nach Male wurden für uns im Voraus gebucht, wir mussten uns um die An- und Abreise nicht kümmern. Die Unterkunft und die Einrichtungen sind brandneu, modern und werden sehr gut gepflegt - alles war jeden Tag tiptop sauber. Das Essen hat uns sehr geschmeckt. Ich war am Anfang des Aufenthalts ein bisschen erkältet und bekam dann zum Mittag- und Abendessen regelmässig auch eine „spezielle Heilssuppe“ (eine Suppe mit Ingwer, Knoblauch, Chilli und Zwiebel) bis die Erkältung weg ging :) Es gibt Trinkwasser, diverse Softdrinks, Kaffee und Tee zur jeder Uhrzeit frei zur Verfügung in dem gemeinsamen Essbereich. Im Hotel herrschte die ganze Zeit eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, wir mochten das gesamte Team. Und die Tauchgänge waren spektakulär, die Gegend bietet einige schöne Locations und das Team versucht die Locations immer so abzuwechseln, dass jeder Besucher möglichst viel sieht und erlebt und auf seinem Niveau tauchen kann. Zudem haben wir viele Tips und Ratschläge bekommen, wie wir unser Tauchen verbessern können, was uns sehr geholfen hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall zurück.

Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Proteinreich, was für mich ein wichtiger Punkt ist. Auf Spezialwünsche wurde eingegangen. Es gab immer genug, es war super frisch und ich habe mich immer aufs Essen gefreut.

I had an amazing week at this wonderfully peaceful guesthouse. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the diving is absolutely stunning, and the food is fantastic — prepared by a former resort chef. The island itself, with its beautiful beach just steps from the guesthouse, feels like a true retreat. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind

Großartige Tauchbasis auf einer ruhigen kleinen Insel in der Nähe von Maamigili. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Bikini Beach, alles ist sehr unkompliziert aber ordentlich umgesetzt. Auf dem Boot gibt's keine Hektik. Die perfekte Base, um das Süd-Ari-Atoll zu besuchen. Das Essen ist lecker und großzügig. Und bei drei Tauchgängen pro Tag ist die Preisleistung unschlagbar.

The room is super nice. You can tell it was designed by someone who's used to travel because everything is in its right place and well functioning. The bed is comfy, the shower is hot, ac works well and the bathroom, placed in between the bed and the entrance, will screen from the noise so you won't hear people talking in the dining area when you go to sleep. I'm a picky italian, but I can say the food is definitely the best I've had in the maldives. Everyday fresh fish was on the menu (one day even tuna carpaccio, fished that very morning on the trip to scuba dive!). The cook does know his job. Only bad note: the sweet pastry ! The dough was always severely undercooked. Just saying so he can improve ! But the rest was really good. Scuba diving was great. I had only 4 dives on my log before coming here and was unsure if I could equalize my ears properly so on the first day Jarda made sure I had a dive instructor of my own. After the first dive everything was cool and I could join the rest of the group ! Jarda's always open to pick the diving spots accordingly to the will of the group (you'd better like currents though because he always looks for them! Personally I would have enjoyed even stronger ones ! ;)) Overall the 5 days I spent at dive and sleep were the best I've had in the Maldives

The boat is not the fastest so despite being close to the diving spots nearby you probably won't be the first there in the morning as liveabords will be there already but this isn't really a big deal ;)

We weren't sure what to expect with Dive and Sleep being on a small local island but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was great with plenty of it, and the rooms were spacious. With 3 dives per day and an all-inclusive stay packaged together, this was the perfect getaway and the staff were all really friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for some great diving and a small, relaxed location to stay, then Dive and Sleep is perfect.

Dive & Sleep liegt auf einer einheimischen Insel, die bislang abseits vom Massentourismus liegt und den besten Standort auf der Insel hat - mitten im Dschungel und wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt. Man kann innerhalb von 1-2 min zum Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang auf beide Inselseiten durch den Dschungel laufen. Die gesamte Insel ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Am Bikini Beach gibt es neue Liegen und auch schattige Plätze. Die Anlage ist klein, aber sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind groß und Bett sehr bequem. Das Essen war immer köstlich. Zum Tauchen ging es 3 Mal täglich mjt Midhoo und seiner Crew zu verschiedenen atemberaubenden Riffen. Die Tauchausrüstung ist sehr gut und die Tauchgänge wurden professionell durchgeführt, sodass man die Zeit genießen konnte und jede Menge Tiere zu sehen bekommen hat. Ich kann Dive & Sleep jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einer authentischen, entspannten und persönlichen Malediven-Erfahrung ist - abseits von Massentourismus.

Everything was great about the hotel! The staff is super friendly and the dive experience was phenomenal!

We loved our time on the island. Everyone who works at the guesthouse is a 10. We loved spending a few days in Dhdhidhoo. We saw a local island, its people, and we snorkeled in beautiful places. The only thing you should keep in mind are the fees. For everything else, a 10. Even though I have allergies and am vegetarian, the food was fantastic. We saw tons of underwater wildlife. Thank you all for these days. I hope to repeat it soon.

The fees should be added to the final price, especially to know before taking a speedboat or internal flight.

The Island Very highly recommended for a peaceful and authentic experience on the small island of Dhidhdhoo, South Ari Atoll (pron. DeeDoo). With a population of only 213, there are all facilities one could need including a small hospital, pharmacy, grocery and souvenir shops and even a new playground. The island is also immaculately maintained with all trails through the jungle swept regularly. Hotel This is a small, newly built guesthouse which is in excellent condition and immaculately clean. The rooms have very comfortable beds with ensuite bathrooms and a porch opening directly onto the beach. A charming communal eating area even has a free soft drinks fridge which is a nice touch. The excellent chef, Haroon, prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner (all included in the price) and is most friendly and helpful. Scuba Diving Do not have any concerns about the quality and professionalism of the dive centre even though this is a remote island. The diving school has only been open for a year so all the equipment is almost brand new and of very high quality. The dive instructor, Midhoo, is possibly the best I have ever dived with and has 30 years' experience in running dive centres across the Maldives. He improved my skills considerably over just a couple of days. As this is a small location, I was the only diver and we managed to see grey and whitetip reef sharks, turtles, rays, fabulous corals and and abundance of fish. The drift dives were a particular highlight and I felt completely safe during these trips. I could not have wished for more from the boat Captain Yoosuf and special thanks to the dive assistant, Mohamed for his attention to my safety and good humour. If you want a truely peaceful escape with no crowds, beautiful deserted beaches and a top quality diving experience, this is hard to beat, and for 3 dives per day including all equipment hire, a genuine bargain.

Se cercate il classico resort 4 stelle con piscina e palafitta sul mare cercate altrove! Qui si vivono le maldive quelle vere! Isola piccola e stupenda! Piccolo gioiello incastonato nell'oceano indiano. Posizione location fantastica. Stanze con enormi finestre che si affacciano sul tramonto in spiaggia. Pulizia, cortesia, disponibilità di tutto lo staff e dei locals. Cibo: colazione pranzo e cena fantastici grazie allo Chef Harun. Specialità maldiviane sapientemente alternate in base al giorno e per chi mangia pesce al pescato della mattina! Anche mia moglie vegetariana ha potuto apprezzare i sapori del luogo. Immersioni che dire, 3 al giorno guidate con sicurezza e competenza da Midho istruttore nonchè proprietario con esperienza diving ventennale , maldiviano conosce ogni angolo e corrente dei fondali che abbiamo potuto apprezzare in questi giorni. Abbiamo goduto sott'acqua di diversi incontri ravvicinati con squali di diverse specie, tartarughe, pesci palla, mante, aquile di mare, coralli di ogni tipo e colore etc etc. Ringraziamo anche di cuore il capitano Yoosuf simpatico e amichevole e Mohamed, ragazzo pieno di energia assistente fidato ed indispensabile, che ci ha accompagnato in barca controllando in maniera impeccabile l'attrezzatura e rendendosi disponibile per qualsiasi necessità a bordo e non. Insomma vacanza fantastica, con gente fanstastica in un luogo fantastico! Benessere allo stato puro concentrato in 10gg!

I have had a wonderful stay at dive and sleep guesthouse. Middho and his staff are amazing, really kind and are trying to make the most out of your vacation! I have seen a lot while diving and the underwater world was magical. If you are coming to the Maledives to dive and take some time of this place is perfect for you. The island is really small, so don’t expect other tourist or shops, but this was something i liked! The rooms are pretty, really clean and the bed was really nice and big! I could definitely recommend this location to others!

I stayed with Midhoo and his team for three nights and it was fantastic. We went diving to different sites three times a day, fantastic for a diver's heart. The accommodation has been built with a lovely for detail and is very comfy and clean. The diving Equipment is pretty new too. Dive and sleep also offers three meals per day, so will never go to bed hungry. Overall I have to stress that the money is definitely well worth Pasing for what you are offered. I can highly recommend staying there.

Bei Dive and Sleep ist wirklich alles inklusive - keine Extrakosten für die Miete der Tauchausrüstung. Midhoo der Gastgeber ist ein sehr erfahrener Taucher und hat uns an die schönsten Tauchplätze gebracht. Beim Tauchen mussten wir uns um nichts kümmern, alles war immer bestens vorbereitet. Es wurde bestens auf unsere Essenwünsche (vegetarisch, Allergien) eingegangen und Aaron hat uns abwechslungsreiche, leckere Mahlzeiten gekocht.

We had an amazing stay. The whole team of dive and sleep made everything easy. The room was great, with a lot of space, nice bathroom and also an outside space where we could sit in the night or let our wet clothes dry. The food was delicious, they prepared us breakfast, lunch and dinner every day with fresh ingredients and delicious fish. The dive experience was everything we could hope for and they made it very easy, with great preparation. We saw whalesharks, turtles, mantas, sting rays, white tip sharks, grey reef and many more and everything went smooth! The whole team was very nice and helpful at all times. The island itself is a little paradise. I can 100% recommend it!

Great staff, clean rooms, dive equipment in good condition, focus on diving, organizing of the transfers. We were so lucky that the boat staff kept looking around from the boat on our way back after diving and suddenly happened to find a whale shark (which we couldn't see from the boat even when being pointed out haha), but got to quickly get in the water to watch the magic!!!

Beach right in front of the accommodation is public - that means no bikinis allowed! (But there's a little hidden private beach part a couple of meters further to the side where you can just enjoy the beach in your swimsuits.) Water in bathrooms (sink water, shower water) was clean, but smelled strange (apparently like that all around the island because it's groundwater).

Amazing!!!! If I could give 15/10, I would. The staff is so kind and helpful, the rooms are very nice and clean and the diving is just spectacular. We will definitely be back.

Everything was great with Dive and sleep ! Dives, food, room and the staff. The Island is very relaxing, an atmosphere far from the big touristy resort. Everything is included in the price, no HIDDEN fee ! For me it’s a no brainer. Thanks to Midhu and all the staff for the fantastic stay !

I liked the simplicity and style of the room and small retreat. The bed and bathroom - with hot shower, were comfortable. I loved the 3 dives a day in the all inclusive package. I saw many wonderful creatures including leopard shark, whaleshark, and giant mantas. Midhu, the owner and dive manager, was responsible and vigilant while ensuring a relaxed, informal, peaceful experience both below and above water. The boat captain and crew were excellent. Well done and thank you to the whole team for a memorable holiday on the tiny, quiet island.

All of the staff were very nice and caring, all the dives were amazing, very quiet and chill environment. Meals are amazing! All the three of them.

Dive and Sleep is the perfect place for divers. Jarda and Midhoo and their team took us out on 3 different dives every day and made sure that we had a great time. There was so much underwater wildlife - it was amazing. And unlike other resorts there were no hidden fees, everything was included in the price. The local island is small and perfect for little walks, not so much for swimming during low tide. The rooms were spacious and clean and the 3 meals were fantastic.
