Villa Mats - Private property with seaside sauna

Beautiful location above the water amongst the archipelago. The house is nicely decorated and offers great views. Even though it feels remote, access to supermarkets and other essential facilities is very close. The housekeeper could be reached any time and was very helpful.

Access to swimming was not really possible as the water was much too murky, which also meant we didn’t use the wood sauna. Also, the house essentially has only one bathroom split into a shower room without a sink and a toilet with a sink. It was ok for a group of 4 but would have been an issue for any larger group. WiFi does not extend to lower levels which is a bit of an issue for kids wanting to stay there.

Solid perfection. The house and the territory is beautiful for a good time with family or friends. Plenty of space for everyone to have their privacy and enough common areas to spend time together. The host was super helpful and friendly and provided a lot of information that improved the stay. There was a boat, SUP boards and fishing equipment for us to use. SUP boards are especially nice because the house stays in a small bay which is perfect for this activity. Also there is a small public beach very close which is easily reachable by a SUP boards.

Kalareissua ajatellen loistava sijainti lähellä veneramppia, tankkausasemaa ja kauppoja. Suojainen laituripaikka joka tuulella ja mahtuu useampikin vene. Tunnelmallinen puulämmitteinen sauna rannassa. Päätalon lisäksi kaksi erillistä rakennusta sänkyineen kätevät isommalle porukalle eri unirytmeillä. Tämä varataan jatkossakin, jos vapaana! 🙂

Todella kaunis ja rauhallinen paikka rentoutumiseen vaikka isommallakin porukalla. Taalintehdas kävelymatkan päässä. Sähkö- ja puusauna. Sisällä tuntui kuin olisi ulkona osa luontoa, kun ikkunoita paljon. Ystävällinen henkilökunta.

The location couldn’t be better: peaceful, surrounded by nature, and yet easy to reach. Perfect place to relax and unwind.

The cottage was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and spacious. The location was peaceful and set in a beautiful area. We really enjoyed our stay and I can highly recommend it.

The forest surrounding the house is beautiful and pristine. The air is incredibly fresh thanks to the surrounding pine trees. The house has a comfortable corner for watching movies on the TV; the modern TV allows you to connect any of your devices for watching movies in the evening.

The house is very small. The stated area includes two additional small houses with two beds each, which are located further down the slope. If you're traveling with a family or a group of more than four people, the others will have to run up and down the stairs to the bathroom/shower. The stairs themselves are quite steep and long, so you won't have much room to run. The house itself is very small, there's barely room to turn around in the bedrooms. You have to enter only one at a time, otherwise it's uncomfortable. All the closets are filled with the owners' belongings or extra bedding, so there's nowhere to put your own things, and given the small size of the house, this becomes a real problem. Mice live under the house. Every night, they sneak into the kitchen through the hole in the floor where the water is supplied. First they climb into the trash can, then climb onto the table, we found traces of their activity on the table. Besides making sleep quite uncomfortable, mice are also a strong allergen; by the end of our vacation, we developed eye and respiratory allergies. On the fourth day, we noticed a strange, rotting smell in the kitchen. Just before leaving, I looked under the refrigerator and saw two dead mice in mousetraps. Besides being disgusting to look at, living in a house with a rotting smell is dangerous to your health. Before renting out your house, you should make sure there won't be any such smells and avoid setting mousetraps just before guests arrive, as this could have serious consequences, as guests won't know there are decomposing mice under the refrigerator. P.S. Even though the house is called "Sea View," there's not much of a view. The house overlooks a small, swampy patch of sea with vegetation. You can see a bit of the sea from the pier, but you won't be able to go there all the time because the stairs are long and steep.

Beautiful view and wildlife. Very comfortable beds, lovely light sitting room, nice bathroom and sauna. Lots of seating and cushions for outside.

Water at the jetty was too shallow and murky to swim. Very steep 100 stair climb from bottom cottage and sauna to facilities in main house. Lots of rules, unsure about what we could and couldn't use without paying extra costs. Kitchen equipment was dirty and needed cleaning.

Sijainti oli loistava, lyhyt matka keskustaan, mutta ah niin rauhallinen. Viihtyisä ympäristö, eipä tullut TV:tä juurikaan tuijotettua tällä mökillä :).

The villa is absolutely wonderful! We loved everything about the cottage — the perfect location, the great facilities, and the spacious rooms. The sauna was a real highlight. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation or a weekend getaway.

Die Lage des Hauses ist phantastisch, auf der großen Terrasse oder unten am Steg kann man wunderbar den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Die Ausstattung ist super, alles ist liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Betten sind bequem. Besonders genossen haben wir die Holzofen-Sauna am Steg. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter hat tadellos funktioniert. Bei Fragen war jederzeit jemand erreichbar.

Alles war perfekt.

Kaunis mökki, isolla terassilla. Puulämmitteinen sauna merinäköalalla ikkunoista ihana. Kauniisti sisustettu kaikki. Hyvä sijainti.

Moni asia kaipaisi korjausta (esim monet lamput eivät toimineet, ulko-oven lukko ei toiminut sisältäpäin, terassin pöytä suhteellisen kolhuinen, vesiletku rantasaunalla vuosi). Polttopuulaari saunalla oli tyhjä. Yhden sängyn alta löytyivät jonkun alushousut.

Location and place is nice. Quite steep stairs to climb from pier to main house, which is the only place with WC and tap water, so it is also good for fitness.

The property was very comfortable and accommodated all for our needs. The location was scenic and relaxing and the sauna was very good. Would 100% recommend:)
