Villa Reis - The Villa of Kings Hotel & Spa

Everything you could need for a little getaway is right there. Cosy room, spa, jacuzzi, pool, a gym and food. Its like a little escape with the mini garden inside.

That the property seems short on resources to prepare for a special event.

Excellent breakfast. Enjoyable stay as always.

For my first stay, I would give the villa 10/10 because everything was beyond what I expected. The room was excellent, everything was immaculate, and I was very impressed with the overall experience.

One of the things I really like about this property is its location. It is situated in a really quiet, private, safe and secure area, which makes it a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The staff are also very polite and welcoming, which is another positive aspect of the property.

What I didn’t like was the room. The standard was much lower than during my previous stay in the villa, which was disappointing.

The property was nice and clean

The staff was very welcoming Loved their service

The staff was extremely friendly and went over and beyond to make us comfortable and enjoy our stay

Everything about the facility

None

Rooms are very spacious nice, clean. Staff extremely courteous and the food was exceptional!

Nothing

Secure property in quiet neighbourhood. Room was spacious with all that you need. Staff very accommodating and helpful.

Attention to detail lacking. No hand towel or rubbish bin in bathroom. Tiny bin in bedroom. No bath mats initially for the shower. Shower sprays everywhere. Breakfast order didn’t arrive on the one morning and coffee came instead of tea on another. All small things but they add up.

I loved the location and the beautiful huge room

Nothing

The food was nice, facilities were clean and staff very friendly and welcoming

There's no privacy, we could hear people talking from downstairs

Absolutely everything

Staff were very friendly, went out of their way to accommodate us, Food was excellent

Cant say anything

The hotel was very comfortable in all aspects-including a big tv set with netflix and Disney available. The bonus was the spa-package, with a 90 minute full body massage - it was excellent value!

There were some kitchen smells in the room during dinner time.

Location, staff, cleanliness and safety

A real home from home stay. So nice to have spa facilities in-house too - the massage was excellent! The communications from the team is super efficient (asking the night before what you want for breakfast via WhatsApp and what time), and if there's anything you need. The breakfast was delicious! Comfy beds, nice and warm (air con converts into a heater), everything has a 'luxury' feel. Lovely friendly and helpful staff - always a pleasure to stay at Villa Reis!

All the staff members were amazing and so helpful, from letting me leave my bags before checkin to assisting when my partner arrived late. Special mention to Lethabo.

The amazing kitchen and lovely kind staff

More room to clean

Hotel perfeito. Localizacao, equipe, instalações, conforto. Nada a desabonar.

The place is beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was a 10👌

Can't fault anything. My stay was amazing.

Super vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten. Goede bedden.

Everything was exceptional...from the welcome, to the luxury accommodation and the staff...well they made our stay absolutely memorable and we cannot wait to stay there again. What a gem in Bedfordview and we visit at least once a month and we have found our place!!! Sonja & Andy PS: a big thanks to our friend Billy who owns Vini's just down the road...he referred us!

💯 perfect

Everything. Like if you need a fancy hideaway please do not think twice. This is the best.

Great spot close to JNB airport with a nice restaurant, bar and pool area

Excellent breakfast and rooms spacious and modern. Excellent staff.

I was sooo lucky to find that place! It’s the best option! Want to come back! It’s located in a wonderful place of villas, service and room are the best and the shopping centers and all you need is 10-15 mins by Uber

The bed was comfortable, decor was nice, it was quite and peaceful

The air conditioner is never warm, this concern has been circulating I guess the owner is not interested to fix it, also the dstv issue is a known concern, we had to go watch the soccer match (world cup) downstairs. The employee’s uniform was dirty/old.

Fantastic value for money!

Friendly staff and big rooms. Service and food was great!

Everything was great!

Everything! Super friendly accommodating staff! Beautiful rooms! Gorgeous food! Was there for the All ages netball! Washed my daughter’s coleman and filled it up every morning with ice! Washed clothes everything! Definitely will stay there for SA Hoops in September!

Nothing

It was clean,

Everything else you pay to use

Great facilities including a gym and friendly stuff.

Poor quality soap in the room. Poor quality body lotion. Towels were hard and scratchy. No Face Clothes. The carpet in the bathroom was so dirty that we dumped it in the bath and added water and soap. the coffee tea box has not been cleaned in years.

location

The peaceful and tranquility. And the staff is the best

We love the location and the beautiful spacious room. Great shower and linen. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Peaceful neighbourhood with safe parking.

The room we had this time was right above the kitchen and was rather noisy. We also had very noisy neighbours the first night and had to bang on the wall to ask them to turn their music down. Perhaps the kitchen staff could warm the plates before serving meals. The food was not hot.

Beautiful place! My room was stunning!

Rien

The staff and food are absolute 10 out of 10

Little things can improve , like no servettes , the soap in the bathrooms ,

Everything was perfect from the reception to our room.

Nothing

Very modern

Too far away from shops and malls.

The staff were amazing - incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was of an excellent standard...the eggs benedict were out of this world! The rooms were very spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. There are excellent facilities. Two of our party had a full body massage and really enjoyed it. We met the owner of the establishment. She was professional, approachable and clearly very committed to providing a first class experience for her guests. I would highly recommend Villa Reis and would readily return!

Has restaurant on site Good food Big clean comfortable rooms

It was very beautiful from outside to inside, peaceful and clean.

The spa massage room needs more upgrade and the jacuzzi had a little bit of a smell and there’s no privacy in the jacuzzi area

Voelde me er erg thuis!

Aanrader!

Super breakfast, very good staff, great comfortable room, pleasant setting.

Great staff ,breakfast to die for and secure parking and accommodation

Aircon not very strong

The staff are exceptional especially Tlamelo who is incredible!!

The carpets are dirty and the hairdryer very inferior quality

I liked almost everything about the property

The walls are a little bit thin, or maybe the people next door were just noisy I’m not sure

The Villa is beautiful and in an excellent location. Our suite was immaculately clean and the staff were very friendly.. Breakfast included makes it really value for money.

Our room overlooked the laundry drying yard and the cleaning staff made such of a noise both in the afternoon and especially early morning, making sleeping late impossible.

Great service, well organized

The place is excellent and the staff are amazing people

The AC in amber was not working properly on heater

Excellent room, very nice breakfast and dinner.

Very good

Our room , the friendly accommodative staff. They always go an extra mile .

Excellent service

Stay was to short.

Amazing as always The option to have: breakfast, lunch and dinner without having to leave the premises is a huge plus. The space is massive and so allows you time out the room where you can relax and enjoy the outdoors. Whilst feeling safe.

The breakfast was good and fresh

Wifi network

The staff are the stars of the show. The staff are the hero’s of this establishment because they corrected the situation when I was issued an awful smelling room, by acknowledging the issue and changing my room. The location was perfect for my needs.

Even though it’s positioned as a luxury option, I don’t think it is. Yes, the space is generous, but there’s a lack of attention to the details that could truly make a place luxurious. I could mention so many examples. Two that I will mention: the first room I was given had an awful unsanitary smell. I had a heavy cold and could still smell it! The second is my experience with the bathroom facilities and amenities. The toilet had a flushing problem, it wouldn’t stop. The towels were weirdly not ironed; they looked used and crumpled though they appeared clean. Lastly, there was no hot water on my second morning. None at all.

Everything was exceptional; I really was grateful of their keep, they did very well all my stay.

It was like I’m in dreamland, my friends even said they’re bringing their partners there for a romantic getaway

The jacuzzi was not working, but they comforted us with a steam room and a sona. It was worth it…
