Toll renovierte Unterkunft mit umfangreicher Ausstattung. Überraschenderweise gab es bei unserem zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt zum Poolservice auch noch Housekeeping. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war immer super, sehr zuverlässig erreichbar. Die Lage ist perfekt, um von dort diverse Aktionen an der Algarve zu starten.

The host was very kind and helpful. Excellent. Everything in the accommodation was great. It's such a beautiful place. Also, people in the village were very kind and there is a local coffee place where you can eat quite cheap. Very nice Portuguese family is running it.

The only thing I wish there was is a bus stop for local buses. It was a bit far to walk to the train station, so I had to call Uber as I don't drive.

Super netter Gastgeber, jederzeit erreichbar, nimmt sich Zeit, um alles zu zeigen und zu erklären. Tolle Lage im Zentrum von Boliqueime. Typisches Stadthaus. Man findet alles vor, was man benötigt. Sehr große Terrasse, die zum Erholen einlädt.

Soggiorno fantastico! Casa bellissima, completa di tutto quanto potesse servirci, arredata in modo classico ed elegante. Spazio all'aperto splendido con piscina molto carina. Cucina completa di tutto quanto potesse servire per far da mangiare e con un'efficientissima lavastoviglie. Presente anche la lavatrice. Pulizia impeccabile e comodissimo anche il garage. Dulcis in fundo la gentilezza e simpatia del padrone di casa che, oltre ad averci seguito perfettamente fin dal momento della prenotazione, ci ha fatto trovare il frigorifero completo di cibi e bevande! Grazie di tutto Helder Jàcome, sei veramente unico, ci è dispiaciuto andare via.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was a beautiful, traditional home with so much authentic charm and character, exactly what we were hoping for. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was peaceful yet close to everything. Mr. Helder was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help and make sure we had a great experience. We truly felt at home here and would definitely come back.

Das Haus ist wirklich zweckmäßig. Wir waren zu 5. dort. Es gibt 2 Schlafzimmer mit jeweils 1,40x 2m Betten. Im kleinen Wohnzimmer gibt es Ausklapp- Sessel, die für Kinder ok sind zum Schlafen, für Erwachsene eher unkomfortabel. Das Badezimmer ist sehr groß und die Dusche ebenfalls. Es gibt Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler. Der Fernseher hat portugisisches und englisches Programm, aber wir haben ihn nicht gebraucht. Helder, der Vermieter ist wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Er hat uns bei Ankunft den Kühlschrank schon etwas befüllt. Nach der 1.Woche erfolgte am Samstag um 10.00 die Reinigung und Wäschewechsel. Es hat uns super gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

It's an exceptional place with lots of space inside ( 2 bedrooms, small living place , bathroom, kitchen...) and outside (big terrace, bathroom with washing machine ..) Most of all we enyojed the swimming pool which is only for this appartment. The car is parked in a garage in the facilities. Also the willage is quiet and relaxing. Even as the place is well described and the pictures show the accurate state ,being there is something you wouldn't expect - it's just fabulous ,or using the words the very kind owner liked to say - spectacular.

The host was waiting for us outside and kindly show us around the house. The house was clean with everything you need. Beds were comfortable and smell nice. There is a parking space in front of the house. We slept very well as it is a quiet area.

Its located close to Faro, Algarve, Albufeira,Tavira & cabana Island. We rented a car which helped us do lot more. Loule market & Christmas lighting was incredible. We took a train to Lisbon from Albufeira, which is 3 hours journey, very comfortable. Since it was same day return, parked the car at station which was free. Lidl & Aldi are in a walking distance (15 mins). Helder is a lovely man, he brought us food on the first day and guided us throughout, which wS very kind of him. Perfectly located to view sunrise from the kitchen door, you can spot the beach at a distance too. I rate 9 as wifi was laggy, mere browsing was a challenge.

An old Portuguese house with lots of character, with a cozy private yard with a pool and lounge chairs and an outdoor dining area with a barbecue. When not touring the area, we spent most of our time outside, by the pool or dining al fresco, which we enjoyed very much. Helder, the owner, expected us with Portuguese goodies and was very amiable and accommodating.

The beds could have been wider and more comfortable and one of them was very creaky. The owner was planning to get it fixed in the near future.

We were self catering so made our own breakfast but Helder our host made sure there were a few items in the fridge so we did not have to go out right away to buy food. This was our second visit so we knew what to expect. The salt water pool is excellent and quite private with a big patio for sun bathing.

The beds were a bit creaky and the mattresses were not that comfortable.

Been to villa before and the stay was just as good last time. Very clean and everything you need for a perfect holiday. When you arrive the owner provides all the basic essentials and some not so basic (beer & wine) so you don't have to rush to supermarket. Heder is always at the end of phone for any problems you may have. Last year stayed for 3 weeks this year 3 weeks have booked again for same next year completely recommend this holiday let .

Amazing host, Helder was fantastic. and superb property. Pool and outdoor area bigger than it looks in photos. Fridge with beer, wine and supplies on arrival was a great touch. Perfect base for seeing the Algarve.

Exceptional, generous welcome from the owner: he offers EVERYTHING at least for 2 meals + essential condiments, toiletries, dishes, laundry... 1000 THANKS AND 👏 TO HELDER! Preference for ground floor: outdoor space + large and + sunny ⚠️there are only 8 steps which separate the kitchen (+dishwasher) from the rest of the apartment = advantage because same level as the swimming pool + corner meal+barbecue+ deckchairs and parasols+ laundry room with additional shower and toilet and with washing machine: really practical! Very spacious accommodation (100M2) ultra clean with comfortable bedding, pillows, bath towels. Boliqueime is a village preserved from the mass tourism of the coast, +/-15 min. by car from the nearest beaches, right in the center of the Algarve to travel by car from Sagres 🌅 to Tavira✨without forgetting Loulé 👌ni Almancil💒... visiting many delicious restaurants with very rich human encounters! Book with your eyes closed, we recommend at 💯%

Our second stay in Solar Da Tirosa (May 2024) and as beautiful as last years visit (Oct 2023). The private raised terrace benefits from the morning sun and the pool (down a flight of narrow exposed stairs) gets full sun from midday til early eve. The bedrooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the decor is relaxing throughout A nice powerful shower with easily adjustable heat control and the washing machine really helps reduce luggage. The host is helpful and communicative and takes a pride in presenting the property at it's best. He also respects his visitors privacy and leaves you to enjoy his beautiful house without inspection.

Air conditioning would always be a benefit as using a fan can be noisy at night. The TV/Sitting room has two single armchairs and not enough comfort for couples to relax if wanting a night in. The different levels of flooring within the apartment could be clearly marked as my partner kept stubbing her toes.

Our host was amazing! He was lovely and most helpful person we have ever had pleasure to stay with. Had everything stocked up. We have no complaints at all. Everything was above wonderful thank you so much❤️

Lovely and spacious

Helder was a most gracious host and made us feel very welcome. His traditional Portuguese home has been in his family for nearly 100 years and it has been lovingly looked after. We arrived by train and Helder even offered to pick us up at the station, then took us to get groceries then to the butcher shop. He even drove us into Vilamoura so we could see the yachts there. He supplied us with a lot of groceries as well. He picked us so many tangerines from his orange tree too-they were the best we’d ever eaten! The house was very clean and had good views from the back windows. The bed was very comfortable and the house is located on a quiet lane. The kitchen was well supplied too.

For the first few days we didn’t have a rental car so it was a bit challenging getting around as there weren’t any buses that came right into the village. No problem at all once we had a vehicle.

It‘s a pittoresque renovated old farm house with many lovely details. The host was very friendly an provided us with regional food and whine. We had the first floor and the basement, the pool with its large patio was great, always clean and illuminted at night.

Really nearly nothing, but perhaps on should know that the two bedrooms are side by side, so when the kids should sleep the parents had to be quiet (or outside). The bed though nice and antique is quite small and noisy.

Loved absolutely everything. It was our first visit to Portugal. Helder, the host was amazing! He went over and above our expectations, collected us at the Airport and took us a tour of this lovely village, showing us nice places to eat, shop etc. He then took us down around Villamoura, and showed us the beautiful Marina. Once we made it back to to villa he took the time to show us around and how to use the appliances etc. He also went to the bother of providing a 'Welcome Pack' which consisted of ham, cheese, bread, beer, water, wine and little cakes which were delicious. The villa itself is quite big with a stunning patio and pool. It's very quiet, which was just what we were after. It's very authentic with beautiful old furniture and gorgeous paintings which were painted by Helders wife.

We liked the location, the pool was a Godsend during those hot days and the light meal that was provided upon arrival was an excellent touch.

We didn't like that there wasn't a handrail to get in and out of the pool. When we mentioned it to the owner, he assured us that there would be one installed ASAP

We had a wonderful time, and what a beautiful apartment! We stayed on the 1st floor, with a beautiful authentic entrance. The rooms were nicely furnished, great beds, and clean. A huge bathroom, and a kitchen with everything you need. We both tried the pools, since we were the only guests for a short period, and we enjoyed them a lot. Thank you so much Helder, for all your help and your kindness.

Excellent accommodation within easy distance of the coast. Toiletries and basic kitchen supplies were included.

Everything was excellent. We were in the upstairs apartment - the stairs to the swimming pool would not suit those with mobility issues.

We loved the authentic Portugese holiday villa in the quant village of Boliqueime. Helder is a wonderful and engaging host and provided local treats (bear, cheese, bread and more) upon our arrival. The villa (1st floor) is spacious with great views, and your own pool! I loved watching the wind blowing in the tree and the birds chirping from our bed, and hearing the church bell every half an hour. The linen, including swimming towels were fresh and spotless. The espresso coffee maker was a winner. The kitchen is well equipped. Parking is available in the street in front of the villa most of the time.

The villa is really suited to sleep 4 people comfortably. The 5th sleeping option, a single seater that doubles as a bed, is not that comfortable but can work for a child. Fortunately we were 4 people. The steep steps down to the swimming pool may not be everybody's cup of tea.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Helder Jácome's property. He made us feel very welcome and left us delicious bread, cheese, and wine. We were accommodated for a late check-in as our flight arrived around 9pm. The property has everything we needed for our week long stay. Everything was immaculately clean. The beds were extremely comfortable with a lovely view of the meadow. The heaters warmed up the rooms brilliantly for when it was a bit cold outside. The bathroom, washing and cooking facilities were all excellent with hot water available at all times. There was a lovely view of the sea from the kitchen and balcony/patio. The property has been decorated in a beautiful, authentic style. We had no issues parking on the street near the front door. The swimming pool was clean. Every destination in the Algarve was possible on a day trip, and every night, we looked forward to returning to the beautiful and comfortable property. There were lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance. We had an amazing stay here and would certainly stay again next time we visit the Algarve. Thank you so much, Helder Jácome! 😊

The weather was exceptionally cold for Portugal but the provision of heating was poor.

We liked the nicely renovated old charme of the house itself. The equipment suited our demands perfectly. The host was very welcoming and communicated well. As it was Sunday and New Year’s Eve with shops to be closed some delicious treats awaited us, including bread, butter, beer, wine and pastries. We did really appreciate this surprise. Boliqueime makes a great base to reach the central Algarve’s natural beauty’s including the backcountry. Also supermarkets and cafes are found within walking distance.

The following doesn’t affect our full recommendation for the house but needs to be mentioned. For us sustainable aspects should be more taken into account (no coffee out of a capsule machine, no need for a 4-layer TP, more than one trash bin for easyer recycling options). Also more green in the garden would improve the well being a lot (nevertheless the orange trees were tremendous). Lastly the introduction in the house was way too extensive. It was after midnight and we appreciated the late check in, but we mentioned a couple of times that we were tired and will be able to figure out trivial things like using the oven or the dish washer ourself. This wish was barely noted. The host is really passionate about the house but in my opinion communicated too much. That being said we thank again for the warm welcome and the feel like home stay.

Absolutely beautiful, traditional Portuguese home with an exceptional host, Helder could not do anything more for us throughout our lovely peaceful 2 week break. Everything was so perfect and top quality with this stunning home from home in a lovely village off the beaten track but still a short cab ride to everything from shopping, beaches, marina, restaurants etc Can't wait to return next year
