Reviewed Jul 3, 2026The location was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean.
The mattress was completely sagging in the middle. It offered zero back support, and we woke up with body aches. A good night's sleep is essential, so the hotel really needs to replace this mattress for future guests.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2025The host is very responsive. Environment is quiet and clean. Good location. Eventhough the check time was at 4pm,host allowed us to check in 30mins earlier.
I booked this place as i wished to use the washing machine during my stay. However, washing machine is already faulty (door was broken) -informed the host and was advised to switch on the switch and try again. No batt for clock and remote control Pillow is not comfortable Hope to check in earlier (first time check in is set at 4pm)

Reviewed Jan 23, 2025I had an amazing stay at Alamas in Johor Bahru, located in the beautiful Puteri Harbour area. The apartment offers breathtaking scenic views of the sea, which were a highlight of my experience. The pool area is perfect for relaxing, and the room itself was clean, comfortable, and ideal for a night’s stay. The location is convenient, and the peaceful atmosphere made it a great getaway spot. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Johor Bahru!

The 2 high chair is not firm, 2 of the lamp on top of the table is not functioning. No light at the sofa area. Frying pan are worn out, only 1 mug (which has a defect at the bottom.)

Reviewed Jun 19, 2024The location is good, the property was clean, bedding, towels etc were all clean and fresh
The bed/mattress was poor and uncomfortable as was the sofa. Collecting the key was a real challenge the combination lock on the mailbox is tiny and the numbers almost impossible to read. I noticed that other Owners had clearly had the same issue and.replaced the combination with larger dials or even padlocks. All of this would be cheap, quick and easy to improve, and would make the place so much better
