Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Alles da was man braucht. Etwas wenig Besteck, aber es reicht aus. Kaffemaschine, Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden. Wir hatten die Wohnung im EG und konnten die Fahrräder auch über Nacht in der Wohnung abstellen. Die Betten waren bequem, es gab einen Badvorleger und genügend Handtücher. Der Code für den Eingang hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Supermarkt nicht weit entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen. Da die Wohnung in einer kleinen Seitenstraße liegt war es sehr ruhig.
Ein Wäscheständer wäre für uns perfekt gewesen, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026The location is excellent - 3, minutes from shops, restaurants, 10 mins from the beach. The living room area is very homey, comfortable and the kitchen well equipped.
Two main things which weee misleading - the flat does not have an A/C, even though advertised. It has a vent in the bedroom only, for which the switch is the same one as the lighting in the bedroom, so not very handy. It was not extremely hot on the days we were there so it was ok but we had booked this flat specifically bcos we wanted a property with a proper A/C, which was not the case. - there is no onsite parking - the free parking is 20 mins away and the paid parking is 7-8 mins away.

Pas de fenêtre dans la chambre, difficile pour moi qui ne dors jamais dans le noir complet. Obligé de laisser les rideaux fermés pour éviter les yeux indiscrets des passants.

Reviewed May 4, 2026Foto's geven de werkelijkheid weer. Zeer rustige straat en vlak bij het centrum. Koffiepads senseo en melk ter beschikking : dank u ! Heel netjes. Wasmachine en droogkast aanwezig. Misschien toch ook een kleinere kookpot en slakom voorzien vermits app. maar voor 2 pers. is. Hosts deden hun uiterste best om internet terug te laten werken met persoonlijk bezoekje. Spijtig genoeg lukte het niet met het streamen op de smart tv, maar 's avonds was het probleem dan toch plots opgelost.
Voor wie er een probleem in ziet : er zijn geen glasgordijnen waardoor soms binnengekeken wordt. Hall en trap naar 2 hogere appartementen is erg gehorig. Ook het rondlopen op 1ste verdiep hoor je goed. Gelukkig had ik maar 1 nacht bovenburen en was dus geen probleem voor mij.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026mooie grote ruimte, netjes ingericht ook. Bed was ok, en ook voldoende kastruimte. Was ook erg geluidsarm en goede airco.
Kussens op bed waren een drama, waardoor erg slecht geslapen en nekpijn. Op bed kussens veel te dun, en extra kussens veel te dik zonder kussenovertrek. Helaas geen zeep of douchegel in badkamer

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025The communication with the owner: The owner apparently does not know any English. That made for difficult communication. He sent me a mail with the access code at 15:07, somehow I got it much later (happens sometimes). I tried to contact him by phone but no answer. Eventually I did get the code. The instructions for the use of the code were in Flemish, maybe they were clear but not to me. When I used the code the small box which should contain the key did not open. Instinctively, I pressed a pound button on a keypad near the box and the door opened. Later, I wanted to get out for a walk and was not sure I could get back in. My wife stayed inside and I went outside. I was unable to open the door. So we did not go for a walk. I was jnable to understand how to open the door and I am still baffled why it opened for the first time.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2025Sono stato al " Francis50", come ultima tappa di un tour in Belgio. Ero molto curioso di visitare Ostenda, città poco conosciuta in Italia. L' appartamento e' stato una piacevolissima sorpresa, in primis per le dimensioni, davvero grande d spazioso. Dotato di un ampia cucina- living, la camera da letto separata, bagno spazioso e dotatO di tutti i comfort. La pulizia impeccabile, arredamento ed elettrodomestici nuovi e moderni. Il prezzo, può risultare elevato secondo i canoni italiani, ma, essendo ad agosto ed in Belgio, e' comprensibile

Reviewed Aug 27, 2025appartement is super gelegen , op wandelafstand gratis parking , winkelstraat , zeedijk , restaurants en café's ... alles is voorzien , heel comfortabel appartement. goede communicatie met de eigenaar , hadden dit last-minute geboekt maar alles snel en duidelijk geregeld.
misschien het ontbreken van een badmat in de badkamer

Reviewed Aug 16, 2024The apartment is in a great location, a short walk from the station and the beach. There was a free music festival in the square next to us which was fantastic.
Parking was a little tricky as Ostend was very busy. Earlier notification on parking options would have been helpful as the recommended car park was full.
