Sanjana and Julien Cosy bungalow in Tamarin bay

Lovely accommodation in fantastic spot on a private laneway with direct beach access just 50 metres away. It’s quiet and low key, and friendly pets run free. The hosts are welcoming helpful and cottage is well equipped for cooking if required. Tamarin bay is beautiful.

The hosts are lovely and location is great! I loved the pets stopping by for visits :)) It is so easy to get to the beach and the location feels very secure.

My only complaint is the bed. It was very uncomfortable. Need a new updated matress and bigger. Too small for adult couple and its reached the end of it's lifetime.

The Bungalow is just a few meters away from a beautiful Beach and offers everything you need for a perfect beach day (e.g. kayaks, body boards).The Hosts are the most loving and kind people we met during during our Journey. We were welcomed with fresh eggs from their chicken and avocado from the garden. They have two dogs and a rabbit running around which our son enjoyed very much. Thank you for the amazing stay and the hospitality! We hope we get the chance to come back one day!

I loved that the place was very laid back with friendly dogs, a rabbit and chicken roaming about. The hosts were very friendly, easy going and very responsive. I mainly booked the house because of its location, the paddle board and kayaks and I am happy to report that all the "water toys" were a lot of fun in the waves!!!

The house itself was adequate but it had a few quirky issues like tripping power etc but there were workarounds.

Eine super freundliche Gastfamilie, die direkt nebenan wohnt! Am ersten Abend haben Sanjana und Julien für uns mitgekocht, womit wir sehr überrascht wurden! Es war super lecker. Genau so wie die frischen Avocados aus ihrem Garten! So leckere Avocados haben wir noch nie gegessen! Auch sehr süß sind die 2 Hunde, die Katze und das Kaninchen, die einen immer freundlich begrüßen! Der 1-Minütige Fußweg zum Strand ist natürlich das absolute Highlight! Dort haben wir 3 wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge IM Meer genießen dürfen! Bis auf ein zwei Kakerlaken in der Unterkunft und die vielen kleinen Ameisen, war alles top! Und da können die Vermieter ja nun mal nichts für, das ist auf der Insel leider einfach so -.-

Leider ist das Kajak, was wir uns einfach nehmen durften, um damit in die Bucht rauszufahren, irgendwie kaputt und es wäre fast mit uns gesunken, da Wasser reingelaufen ist. Daher bitte einmal checken, bevor ihr da mit raus fahrt 😆

Das war Wohnen im Paradies. Wir hatten ab und zu die Hunde und das Kaninchen des Vermieters zu Besuch. Frische Eier und Bananen aus dem Garten des Vermieters gab es zur Begrüßung. Die Flughunde ließen uns immer wieder Mangos in den Garten fallen. Bis zum Strand waren es 100 m. Ein wahrer Traum.

Das wir nur 4 Tage gebucht haben. Wir wären gern für immer geblieben.

- Wassersport Geräte liegen einfach im Garten und kann man jederzeit verwenden - süßer, natürlicher Bungalow ohne Schnick Schnack - super Gastgeber, wohnen direkt nebenan

- da es recht rustikal ist, kommen hin und wieder kleine Tierchen zu Besuch (Kakerlaken). Das gehört natürlich einfach dazu, sollte man sich drauf einstellen

Sehr schönes kleines Haus in traumhafter Lage. Nur wenige Schritte zum Strand der kaum besucht war.Sehr ruhige kleine Wohnsiedlung, man lebt mit den Einheimischen. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Kayak, mehrere Surfbretter, Standup Paddle Board, alles zur freien Verfügung. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan und sind jederzeit sehr bemüht. Die Haustiere kommen immer zu Besuch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine Unterkunft wie man sie wirklich selten findet. Super Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Das Etagenbett im zweiten Zimmer ist etwas kurz für größere Menschen. Aber machbar. Die Dusche verursacht häufiger Überschwemmungen.

Sehr schöne, einfache Unterkunft in toller Lage. Sympathische, familiäre Atmosphäre mit sehr netten Gastgebern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Surfbretter, Kanu, SUP standen zur Verfügung. Das war toll!!

Very nice place, we really liked the beach just a minute away, just few people, the waves,very clean.

We just love everything and will definetly come back!!! The hosts are amazing!

Imagine waking up early in the morning, grabbing a coffee, be greeted by two lovely dogs coming to say hi, the sound of birds and the distant noise of the waves. You walk for 3 minutes and you arrive on a beautiful beach, most of the time almost empty,. You can use the kayak, the surf board, bodyboard available at the house, whenever you want to go and see the dolphins even if they often come to the shore. Sanjana and Julien are adorable, so are their 2 kids. We got some fresh eggs coming from their adventurous chicken, they were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. There is a barbecue that we used by the beach…We had an incredible stay and we cannot wait to come again ! Tamarin bay is so much better than Flic en Flac and you have great food options nearby when you spend your day at the beach. The house is located in a secured and quiet place, it’s a fantastic option to discover Mauritius by offering a peaceful space to rest.
