Wonderful hotel, everyone was lovely. It was very quiet. The staff was so sweet, I had mentioned to the hotel that I was vegetarian and they printed and messaged me the vegetarian menu and kept it on hand for me! The room was AMAZING with bath tubs that overlook gardens. Everything was clean and nice.

Incredible place to stay. The private villas are superbly appointed and the pool is most welcome after a day of temples or touring. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they go out of their way to ensure your comfort and care. Horn was our tour guide - what a gem. Not only is he a superb tour guide but also a talented photographer who helps create long lasting memories. The food here is exceptional. We chose to stay in two of our four nights as we so loved eating tasty meals in the comfort and tranquil surroundings of our villa. If we could have done a cooking class here we would have! We cannot rate the staff highly enough. From the moment you walk in they go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need - spend a birthday here if you can! Seam gave up his day off to graciously take us to some local markets and share recommendations of where to visit and where to eat - thank you Seam We have travelled extensively and this rates among the most memorable and special places to stay. Don’t miss it!

Place was amazing. If you are looking for quiet, private, luxurious accommodation this is the place! We absolutely loved it. Beautiful inside and out. Attention to detail was special. Very pretty and accommodating. Staff was great and attended to our every need. The kitchen was amazing. Had both breakfast and dinner delivered to room. Very tasty and great quality. All inclusive mini bar was a nice touch. Private pool was clean and comfortable. Totally private and a great place to relax after tours on hot days. We absolutely loved it and they made us feel very special. Gym and spa was also very nice. Highly recommend.

Waka Villa is a truly remarkable place. Beautifully furnished and comfortable villas are arranged so that everything is in its place, nothing is unnecessary, everything is perfect. This place provides incredible comfort, convenience, intimacy, and privacy. But the greatest value and what makes it unique, as always, are the people. People who are simply amazing, helpful, committed, and make you feel truly special. Right from the start, as soon as you leave the airport in Siem Reap, you are greeted by a driver who, as soon as you settle comfortably in the seat of the luxurious bus, offers you a cold, moist towel to refresh yourself after the journey and a choice of beverages before setting off, demonstrating how much they care about guest comfort and attention to detail. I will definitely return to Cambodia, if only to stay at Waka Villa again.

We rented a villa with a pool in this intimate boutique hotel.The daytime temperatures in Siem Reap during early March were 95 degrees. So after Angkoe Wat temples our own pool was a luxury. The main pool is also gorgeous. The staff was AMAZING with their level of hospitality and kindness. We had our breakfast delivered to the room. The spa treatments were excellent. We loved having a large water filter for hot and cold water in the room.

What an amazing place! Our stay at Waka Villas exceeded all expectations, even though that bar was already set very high. I have never stayed somewhere where so much thought has been put into every aspect of your experience, from design, technology, comfort, cleanliness, practicality, aesthetics, and the list continues. There were also so many elegant touches - as agreed, we were met on time at the airport in a very comfortable air-conditioned car, and only later found out that the one hour journey was free of charge. You get some free laundry included in your stay also. The delicious food at the restaurant is incredibly good value, encouraging you to eat in. The hotel arranged local tours for us with trusted contacts at prices that were more than reasonable. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to help, but were never overly obtrusive. In fact it is evident that the villas are set up to allow those who wish so to maintain as much privacy as possible, and to this end many visitors chose room service to eat their meals in their villas. We later learned that the philanthropic owners have a local employment policy and help staff into higher education and university. We highly recommend Waka Villas to anyone wanting very high quality, with the additional benefit of significant privacy should they prefer that.

I cannot ever remember staying somewhere where I have nothing to think of that needs improving.

This place was breathtaking. I arrived here after leaving a different “5 star” hotel which I had prepaid nights for but left early as it was not great. When I arrived here it was like an oasis. The staff went above and beyond. Seam, fort office staff, spent over an hour assisting me with a banking issue which was amazing. All of the staff were simply perfect. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had as I just sent in my custom order of what I wanted on the app, I ordered things like grilled chicken and mushrooms along with more traditional items (for breakfast!) and 20 minutes later it was delivered to the room. They allow you to “order breakfast” until 5 pm. The Pool and the room was magnificent. I ate 6 meals at the resort and everything I ate was excellent from a great menu. I thought the best hotel in siem reap was Jaya river house but this place and its staff give it a run for the money but with much bigger rooms and a better pool. Great resort. Highly recommend.

I liked everything. The only thing I can possibly think of is I ordered the beef tenderloin and it was the only dish out of probably 15 I ordered that wasn’t top quality. I only say that to have something to put in this section. This place is 10/10. Don’t hesitate one second to stay here.

Stunning villa. Amazing size. Private swimming pool was so big. Nice having the lovely peaceful private garden space. Such genuine kind humble staff who are so so helpful. Helped book all out trips and tour guides. The director of the property was around a lot and always made an effort to talk to you which was a lovely touch. If you're tired of big hotels but need high quality care, then WAKA Villa is the perfect choice. The high standards guaranteed by the Japanese owner (most importantly, Japanese toilets, free laundry and room service!!!) and the unbeatable kindness of the locals are a killer combination. The design of the hotel makes everyone feel alone in the hotel when it was full. Seam the hospitality manager took care of everything within minutes, the service was second to none!

Everything is perfect here, the food, the staff, the villa. It was the best experience I ever had in my life. The staff took care of our needs, they were really helpful, mindful of our situation. In the villa there is a swimming pool. I loved the details and design of the place. They took care of everything. If I could I would rate 11 out of 10!

Don’t normally write reviews on booking but this one is really exceptional. The staffs were very attentive and goes above and beyond to ensure we have the best possible time. They helped us with the daily planning to visit Ankor WHS and booked us high quality drivers, which made our experience at Siem Reap a lot more pleasant. The villa was also extremely comfortable and peaceful. The actual room is better than the photos. We chose to have our breakfasts served in the villa so we can enjoy the morning sun in the room. The massage at the spa was also exceptional. We spend 6 nights in Siem Reap at two 9.5+ rating hotels and this one is better than the other one in all aspects.

From the moment they picked me up at the airport in a personal airport transfer van with a/c, wifi, cold drinks, and refreshing towels to the day I left, the staff at Waka Villa knew me by name and attended to anything I asked a question about. Free sim card, free laundry, quiet and private accommodations that were clean, spacious, and oh-so-relaxing, great food on site, SUCH great service, a nice distance into downtown Siemp Reap for a walk each day, and willingness to help me arrange travel for my own day trips out or any spots I wanted to see, the staff were interested and helpful in my stay while still giving me my space and privacy. I arranged for a Tuk Tuk for a day out at Angkor Wat and the driver was brilliant: great driving, cold drinks and refreshing towels, and at every stop he was eagled-eyed at spotting me coming out in the myriad of people at each location. It's the perfect reprieve after weeks of travelling on the cheap or if you're just looking to pamper yourself because you deserve it. The Waka Villa "family" are simply next level in their service to their customers. Seriously: stop scrolling and just book this place.

This was one of the best accommodations we ever booked. The staff are amazing, they try to ensure you are having a good time and have everything you need. The villa was spotless and beautifully designed. The breakfast delivered to our room was delicious and beautifully presented. We also tried their spa and it was great!

For the such a high standard of hotel the gym was not well equipped.

We honestly cannot say enough superlatives about this property. From the time I booked it to the time we were waved off by all of the staff at the door Waka Villas utterly deserves 5 * in every aspect. We completed a 16 day adventure in Vietnam and Cambodia with our last 2 nights being spent at Waka. We did 5* the whole trip as we were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary and we really did save the best for last. Every tiny detail has been so beautifully thought out. The layout of our stunning villa, the completely secluded and private pool and garden area, complimentary drinks, amazing breakfast, reasonable room service prices with gorgeous food- the list is too long to name about all of the great things at Waka. The icing on the cake has to be the service. It is impeccable. Every single member of staff are just lovely. Special shout out to Phalla and Rathana who helped me every step of the way with questions and organisation. We will never forget our stay at WAKA. Thank you all. You’d be mad not to book it.

Only booking it for 2 nights!!!!

The entire complex is a destination - an experience and to fully appreciate the site we recommend no less than three nights stay. Every day we stumbled across something remarkable on site. The staff are excellent, so helpful and friendly. The on site manager, personally greeted us, is so humbly, works on the first floor which allows him to interact with those that stay on site.

The level of service the Waka resort provided, was just exceptional: They were always pro-active, lovely, and really eased our stay in Siem Reap by inspiring with restaurant recommendations & reservations. They constantly took the extra mile! The leadership in this place is driven by hospitality, openness & employee (as well as consumer) satisfaction. The villas are very intimate and at the same time you do not feel trapped as there is a lot of glass & plants. The pool has the perfect size for taking a dip. We felt very comfortable & it was as clean as in your own house.

We personally prefer breakfast that is very clean (=few natural ingredients). First off all: In Waka resort, the breakfast is 100% fresh & for sure in a way prepared that would most of guests love (e.g. waffles decorated with fruit sauce, mixed bread basket incl croissants & rolls). For us, we would be more happy if we could customise the breakfast to a higher extend: e.g. what kind of rolls we would like, which kind of spread, etc Besides, we would love if you could extend the range of spreads. There was orange jam but you could add easily other (like raspberry) as well as honey. And also oat porridge (not salty) would be wonderful. For lunch, we would have also preferred more natural choices, e.g. fresh tomato sauce instead of cream sauce.

Waka villas made our stay in Siam Reap very special. The villas with the private pool are beautifully designed and spacious. The pool is good for two to swim and we used it a lot. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and it was really sad to say good-bye to them in the end. We also had the best massages ever and recommend very much the khmer massage. The food was delicious, the special feature that you can have breakfast until 5 pm, in the restaurant or in your villa, is super. In case you do the sunrise trip to the temple, you can have it when you come back. If you ask for spicy, it is really spicy (mango salad), otherwise, not. We did several trips to Angkor Wat and further away temple to the lake tonle sap. The staff organised that very well, thank you. We also recommend the acrobats circus, the traditional dance theater, and especially visiting the retired temple elefants in "Kulen Elephant Forest" which need the visitors fee for continuing being a safe haven for retired Touristelephants. We would love to come back to Waka villas one day and send our greeting to the staff with a big THANK YOU 🙏!

Very spacious layout of the Villa, perfect design. High quality furniture all made locally in Cambodia. Wonderful energy in the property and the silence allover (even the aircon was perfect and no noise). Phalla and her team take care of all one needs with so much heartfelt dedication and lovely smile, nothing is too much. Excellent massage. Great food served in the Villa. Free laundry. Japanese owner with Cambodia Management - you can feel the attention to every detail. Plan for 3 to 4 days, as one day you just want to stay… Seeing a few boutique 4 and 5 star hotels in Sieam Reap, Waka is the choice. To city only 10 minutes drive.

We loved the staff and our room! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left my husband and I were in heaven.

I would have liked it if the pool chairs had been wiped down. There was quite a bit of debris just from being outside. Maybe something to note for the future :)

What I liked most was the hotel team, well managed by Seam, which measured no efforts to ensure a very high level of customer satisfaction. The facilities were quite new, beautifully decorated and modern features. The room´s individual large pool and the lavish breakfast were two additional highlights. Would like to leave a special acknowledgement to Seam and his team due to great stay experience !

I cannot speak highly enough of Waka Villas. We just spent a wonderful 8 nights in one of the private villas with own swimming pool. Virtually brand new, convenient location, beautifully presented, enormous comfortable beds, scrupulously clean, attention to detail - everything has been thought of. Scrumptious breakfast (any time of the day) delivered by smiling staff to our room. The service from Kim, Seam and the staff was amazing and they just couldn’t do enough for us - whether getting us a tuk tuk to go into town, delivering extra tea bags to the room or organising an excursion. Best place ever!

Amazing, beautiful villas.

This place is beyond beautiful, it was everything we dreamt off and so much more. The villas are stunning, so thoughtfully laid out. Breakfast all day is so amazing. The restaurant is great, the spa is excellent and best of all, the staff are incredible. Special mention to Seam and Mr Sreng who made our trip so unbelievably special. Seam was amazing, from our greeting at the airport right to saying goodbye, he was so friendly and helpful. We felt like VIPs. Seam organised a 2 day tour for us to visit the temples. Mr Sreng drove us and was an incredible tour guide. We loved our time with Mr Sreng. We spent our honeymoon at Waka and wished we'd stayed for 2 more weeks, it was out of this world. We will be back ♥

This is absolutely the very best hotel in Cambodia and one of our favorite hotels in the whole world. Every person that works in this resort is just fenomenal, most welcoming in the world, it is the most wonderful Family that will make your stay pure magic. We came for 1 night and stayed 8, it was so good. The lush green landscaping makes you feel like you are in the most beautiful tropical jungle resort. The villas are absolutely fantastic in every detail, everything is new, super comfortable and flawless clean. The best housekeeping makes the most beautiful flower arrangements you can think of. The service is just the best of the best. The breakfast is all day long, the food is to die for plus delicious passion fruit juice, plus sweet fresh coconuts all day long, plus fragrant flower leis that will melt your heart, plus wonderful spa treatments, plus free laundry, free city trips, smooth organization of anything you may need and so on. I wish everyone such magical stays like we had here. Great management focused on guests satisfaction. I don’t usually say anything is excellent because there are always something that can be improved. But in the case of Waka Villas, for us it was truly excellent. It is the over all experience that accounts and the experience here was excellent.

This amazing resort opened only recently and it is awesome. Everybody is warm and friendly. Villas are very nice, pleasant and feel like home instantly. Food is great too! Concierge has done wonders! Fantastic service!

The location was unremarkable from the outside but once passing through the entry you are transported to a luxurious oasis. The villas are gorgeous and spacious and the pool for our unit was spotless and rejeuvenating. The staff was attentive and helpful. Our airline lost our luggage and the staff assisted in tracking it down and helping us find replacement clothing so that our vacation was not interrupted. The food on site was excellent and we thought our pad thai dinner there was one of the best meals we had in Asia. You will read this and think it sounds too good to be true but it isn't; it really was a fantastic place. If you are thinking about staying there, you should do so. It is worth it.

Most formidable resort, with scrupulous attention to detail, spacious and nicely decorated villas, clean and well maintained pools, luxury amenities, complimentary minibar refreshments, comfortable beds, linens and towels, clean water dispensers, free local sim cards, splendid massages, and great breakfast menu offered until... you'll be surprised... 5 p.m, with an option of free delivery straight to the villa. The list can be endless, but the bottom line is, that our experience in this hotel stands out from many other 5 star resorts around the world, which we were lucky to experience. One very notable aspect of service was the flexibility of communication ways with the hotel. Apart from classic internal phones present in every hotel, Waka Villa also offers communication via Whatsapp and Telegram with fast response timings and which proved to be very convenient. The feature that stood out the most to us is their hospitality. They make you feel special from the very first moment you arrived. Unforgettable stay. Bravo, Waka Villa Resort team!

This resort is very well thought! Free laundry every two days, daily room service, staff go above and beyond - they are like a family with the way they care for you. Free WIFI - you don't need travel adapters!! My room's sensor light was triggered due to the plants outside, they fixed it immediately! 2 electricians and job done in 15mins! We got a beautifully decorated room, with free fruit basket. They have a coffee machine and water filter system for filling up water bottles too. A very thoughtful design and layout and there is Netflix on the tv - I just have to sign in to use to watch my programs. Breakfast is 7am to 5pm and you can have it anywhere - restaurant, room, poolside etc Cooked food is of high standards too - we did lots of room service as it was too hot to go out some days in April! Free 2 hour bicycle rental and they can organise tuk tuk and transport!

Staff at the property are incredibly professional and hospitable, and made us feel at home. The property located close to town centre had the amenities and comforts of a hotel, complemented by privacy in fully equipped brand new luxury villas. Each villa is exceptionally clean and equipped with all features one needs, delicious breakfast, and cloudy bed.

This place is incredible and one of a kind in Siem Reap. The villa is massive and beautifully decorated. All the furniture, rugs and cups were made in Cambodia by local people. The bathroom is spacious with an open shower and a big bath tub. The bathrobes and towels are of the best quality. Mini bar is stocked daily with free beer and soft drinks. The pool is a great addition and kept spotless like the rest of the villa. But what makes this place truly special is the people - no request is too much for them from booking our Angkor trip a day before or washing our clothes for free last minute. They always smile and try to please their guests. Please try their restaurant. We loved their amok - both vegetarian and fish version. If you want to spend your time in Siem Reap in a luxurious place but without the constraints of a big hotel - it is the place. We will be back and we highly recommend to everyone.

The villa is absolutely gorgeous and as is the resort whole. There is a fresh water pool which is such a fantastic addition. The resort also has excellent food which I think is the best in siem reap and service that is unmatched. My friends also took the massages that they said were good too.

Everything — the villas are lovely, well designed, spacious, and brand new. The pool is big with fresh filtered water with no chemicals. And the service is superior, everyone there is very helpful and nice — it’s like a small family. Our attendant Mr. Samao, took the best care of us throughout our stay, and with a beautiful smile on. We only stayed there for two nights, and I wished we had more time.

We are just so impressed with the genuine service, design and the little touch points like bidet toilet bowl, wireless charging, water dispenser with ready hot and cold water and the eat all you can breakfast is actually available till 5pm! You can even order it to be served by the pool or in the villa. Everything is just too good to be true! We felt so much at home and this is thanks to the warm hospitality from the Waka family. We enjoyed the dinner, wine and massage (masseur skill is very good and takes good care of the guest) very much, love the super king size bed and a large private pool. I’m really honoured to be the first Singaporean group to stay here and it’s definitely a place I will come back again when in Siem Reap. Just love the amenities, vibes and facilities. Really appreciate the room upgrade and the awesome, humble and friendly service from Masao (MD), Seam (residence host) and the whole team who have helped to make our stay so memorable! Hope to see you guys again! Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Siem Reap!

Everything was perfect! The Waka family is the kindest ! All the staff is extremely friendly, attentive and responsive to your needs and desires. We appreciated every little detail delivered with care by the staff which makes the entire experience of tasteful luxury. As an interior designer, we thought the design was remarkable by its beauty, comfort and sustainability. Breakfast is really good with a large selection. Finally, we had a great massage at the hotel spa and enjoy as well the gym in front of the sunset! All in all, we loved everything!!!

Our stay at Waka villa was truly a wonderful experience. From the first moment we landed at the airport, we were greeted by a very friendly staff with a shuttle that took us to the Waka Villa. The journey from the airport to Villa itself does not take long. Once we arrived, the rest of the staff greeted us with a sincere smile on their faces, and even then it was clear to us that this was going to be a really wonderful stay. We have to mention right away that nowhere during our holiday did we feel like we were at home and like we were with dear friends. The villa itself, where we were accommodated, is a beautiful oasis surrounded by incredible and lush tropical greenery, so that at times you have the feeling that you are in paradise. The villa is beautifully and elegantly decorated with the biggest bed ever and the most comfortable pillows. What really blew us away was the incredible bathroom with a glass wall overlooking palm trees and flowers. What we really didn't expect was that a sim card was waiting for us in the villa, which really made our stay in Siam Reap easier. We really did not expect that gesture and were pleasantly surprised. The staff really did more than we expected to make sure we had everything we needed. They are full of useful tips and were there for anything we needed. They recommended the best restaurants in town and booked us dinner every night. We must especially mention that they organized the best tuk-tuk driver for us, Mina with whom we had the best time ever. Riding a tuk-tuk has never been more fun and Mina made sure at all times that we had cold towels and cold water and juices to refresh us wherever he took us, whether it was to see the Angkor or the city. We definitely recommend Mina for all trips. Also, the staff from Waka Villa organized a guide for us who was a great source of information about the history of Angkor.

Super luxury private villas with excellent pool and interior design. We had individual treatment straight from the airport pickup and felt like special quests! All staff super friendly, smiling and being natural. Everything super well organized by Kim including Angkor Wat trip, travels etc....Breakfast was top taste and evening dining with traditional Fish Amok was outstanding. Amazing big bed much more then european standard... so comfortable ! Not mentioning a washlet! We had also two massages which was the best experience. Overall hard to tell everything but this is hotel is a real gem. I wish I would have booked more then 2 nights. We will come back for sure 😊

We had to leave!

Waka Villa is incredible and the staff are amazing they made sure we had everything we needed at all times. We stayed for our honeymoon and the staff made it extra special for us. There isn’t a thing we would have changed. We felt so lucky to have Zam to assist us. He arranged everything for us, from dinner reservations to a sunrise trip to Angkor Wat. We cannot thank him enough for making our stay 100/10!!! The private villas feel really secluded and amongst nature. The villa is really luxurious, and the bathroom felt like a spa. As an architect I had an extra special appreciation fort the stunning interior. We had 2 massages in the spa when we were there, and it was the best massage I have ever had. Breakfast was so delicious and you can order it until 10pm! perfect for a lie in. There are both Thai and western options and you can chose to have it delivered to your room (which we did every day!) or by the main pool or in the restaurant. When we got up to see sunrise at Angkor wat, the hotel provided us with a breakfast picnic box to take which was really kind and much appreciated. It was great to have a gym too, the view overlooking the pool certainly beats my treadmill view at home. This really was a 10/10 trip of a lifetime. We vent recommend it enough!!!

We didn’t like leaving because it was so amazing!

We had an amazing stay at newly built Waka Villa. Once you walked in, we were welcomed with welcome drink. There is a unique shaped common swimming pool, which we were later explained that its chlorine free pool. The villa is very spacious with living room, a bed room – if you open all the sliding doors, your own private swimming pool is right in front! Our villa was surrounded by a high wall, our privacy was securely kept. The huge bathroom had a bathtub, a shower, 2-bathroom sinks and “Washlet”! (It’s a toilet with bidets attached, very popular toilet style in Japan). My favorite part of the bathroom is that instead of tile wall, they use glass wall (or probably sliding door??) and there is a small yard/garden where you could see some trees while taking a shower/bath. It’s like you are taking shower in the nature 😊 Of course there is a high wall, so we didn’t need to worry about our privacy. The night we had stayed at Waka villa, there was a world cup match. We happened to become friends with other guests and decided to watch the match together in our villa. Some were swimming and watching, some were having beer and watching in the living room. We felt like we are at our own home, this is how much we felt at home staying at Waka villa. Water dispenser, microwave, safe, coffee machine, usb wall socket are available in the room. The staff spoke well English. There are spa and gym facility but we didn’t have enough time to try, we would definitely stay here again!
