Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Alles was aanwezig om te kunnen koken. Suggestie : een handleiding voor het gebruik van de inductieplaten zou handig zijn. Verder prima douches en heel rustig gelegen bijna aan het einde van een doodlopende straat, vlakbij de wandelwegen naar de Rocher du Hérou en de Ourthe.
Op gebied van comfort kan ik toch maar een matige score geven en dat heeft te maken met het gebrek aan een airco-systeem. Ik logeerde in de hytte van 21 tot 23 juni 26, dus midden in de hittegolf. Het gebouw is volledig in hout opgetrokken en de temperatuur binnen was nauwelijks uit te houden. Besluit : een prima overnachting, maar ga er niet tijdens een hittegolf !

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026Top-verblijf voor wandelaars op doortocht. Ideaal gelegen, op de Eislek route. Comfortabele bedden. Verzorgd interieur en prachtig uitzicht. Prima keukenuitrusting, met ook koffie / thee. Heerlijk uitrusten na wandeldag en fris vertrekken voor de volgende.
1 douche en 1 toilet, wat voor ons prima was, maar misschien krap als er 9 gasten zijn.

Reviewed Apr 29, 2026Perfecte locatie om van te vertrekken voor verschillende wandeltochten. Het was er zeer hygiënisch en rustig. Ook alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig om zelf te kunnen koken. De gastheer heeft ook prima info gegeven! Prijs kwaliteit is dit onevenaarbaar!

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026Verblijf is gloednieuw, erg netjes en bijzonder compleet met alles wat je maar kon voorstellen. Je kan er zelfs nog een paar versnaperingen kopen voor 's avonds kopen en afrekenen in een potje. Voor de trekkers zijn er slaapzakken en een extra dekentje.
Er is serieus niets aan deze accomodatie wat je tegen kan vallen.

C'est un détail, mais comme tout était parfait je proposerai juste d'ajouter quelques crochets dans les chambres pour suspendre les vêtements

Misschien is één toilet en één douche bij volledige bezetting van 9 personen wat weinig.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2025Très chouette hébergement, partagé avec un groupe de randonneuses très sympa. Le principe est convivial, dans l'esprit des refuges de montagne. Le logement est propre, spacieux, joli, bien équipé. Super de mettre quelques vivres à disposition (pâtes, sauces, bières...) contre un versement de sous à l'hôte, celà permet au randonneur de ne pas devoir aller au village chercher des victuailles une fois arrivé au gîte.
Remarques dans un esprit d'amélioration mais c'est déjà super : Les matelas (durs) et coussins (trop peu denses) pourraient être de meilleure qualité. Une deuxième table dehors et un parasol ne seraient pas de trop. Quelques livres/magazines/jeux seraient supers pour compléter ce gîte déjà génial.

Reviewed May 13, 2025We were extremely tired when we arrived in the village. The Hytte shelter is really close to the end point of the trail--this was a huge relief. The common space is... spacious. Nice design and all you need in the kitchen for an overnight stay, including coffee and tea. Beds are really comfortable. Plenty of sockets in the shelter.

Reviewed Sep 27, 2024The cabin is very large and looks very new (the smell of the pinewood is amazing). It was very clean and the beds are good. I was the only guest there so had all the room to myself. The view from the large windows was also very nice. Only very small thing is that there is no WiFi, but the 4G in the area is good enough. Besides that, I mostly read so didn't need WiFi really.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2024A hiking hut/accommodation close to nearby walking trails. Self-sufficient dormitory (with no bunk beds). Very friendly text message communication with the owner. Large window panels that allow total nature immersion, while still in a small village, with excellent amenities. All good to any hikers or sport adventurers who just need a place to stay.
