Reviewed Apr 26, 2025Love the quiet, peaceful area. View at front door good. Could hear birds. The minimum traffic noise. Security is good. I felt safe and could relax. Stayed at Cottage no.2 - Spacious and private. In general, I will definitely recommend Riverbend cottages.
There is no lace curtain at the bedroom window. More light in the lounge. May be a very bright ceiling light. ? It's difficult to suggest more light in the day. I understand the problem..... no space for windows.

Reviewed Jan 16, 2025Lovely spot tucked away in quiet residential area. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Nice addition of toiletries. Check in and out was seamless. Amazing contact with owner before even arriving and we got an upgrade to bigger room
Parking is a bit tight but only because we had a big 4x4 and trailer. Not the cottage owners fault.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2025The room was comfortable. The host prepared everything, including the sleeper couch, which was ready when we arrived. The host communicated throughout the process.
The aircon was not working. The secured parking for the unit is at the back, so you have to walk outside the property to get to the room.

Reviewed Oct 1, 2024Located in the centre of the little town, very convenient. The unit was as good as new. The bathroom and shower were a joy, and the unit was stylishly decorated. More than what we would have been happy with.
There was nothing we didn't like, but we would even have come back for a longer stay if the unit had its own little garden. This particular unit I think doesn't have its own braai area, although it probably has access to a braai.

Reviewed May 20, 2024We liked the decor and the cleanliness and the beautiful room.
We weren’t crazy about the small single beds that we had to push together. My husband’s feet dangled over. We also didn’t feel particularly welcome in general had to find our own way in. Not having a breakfast included made it a little pricey and was disappointing.

I think the sleeper couch could be of a better quality. Everything else is really nice. That is the only let down. I would also recommend putting a blind above the front door. There is a window and the outside lights shine in which is not great when you are sleeping. Hope this feedback helps
