Si se pudiera poner un 11 lo pondría, la estancia ha sido increíble, buenísima comunicación, perfecta estancia, le pedimos ayuda con el taxi y nos hizo la reserva, hemos acabado encantados, lo recomendamos muchísimo. Un apartamento con encanto y una atención increíblemente buena. La responsable un encanto de persona.

Ζεστή υποδοχή της οικοδέσποινας. Καθαρό και περιποιημένο δωμάτιο. Έχει μηχανή για καφέ φίλτρου και εσπρέσσο. Έχει καφέδες για όλα τα γούστα. Στο ψυγείο υπήρχαν εμφιαλωμένα νερά και φρούτα από τον κήπο της. Για το σκοπό που χρησιμοποίησα το δωμάτιο για αναχώρηση προς αεροδρόμιο έμεινα πολύ ικανοποιημένη. Σας το συστήνω.

Très agréable, l’hôte est venue me chercher à l’arrêt du Métro et m’a accompagné le matin à l’aéroport. Service fortement recommandé. Logement spacieux, conforme aux photos avec tout le confort pour le petit dej et si vous souhaitez cuisiner.

Notre hôte est venue nous chercher à la station de métro et c'était super .

Nous avons eu un très bel accueil de la part de la propriétaire qui nous a accueilli malgré l’heure tardive. L’emplacement était situé à 15 minutes de l’aéroport en voiture. L’appartement était impeccable et ne manquait rien.

The flat is in basement

The location is great for early flights. Because it is close to the airport remember that you will be hearing airplanes but it is not terrible. The rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable. There is a refrigerator and water provided. A coffee pot and tea kettle with coffee and tea provided.

I will say that it is a bit warm in the room. The air conditioner is at the kitchen and the bedroom is at the other end and at a 90 degree angel from the air so it takes a while to cool off the room.

Helen was so great. She picked my girlfriend and I up from the rental car drop off because the taxis were on strike. She drove us to her place where we stayed in an excellent room and brought us to the airport at 03:00 am to ensure we didn't miss our flight. Great person, great place to stay!

The host was very nice! She didn't speak much English, but Gemini aided communication, so no worries. She picked us up personally from the airport for 10 €, which we left on the table before leaving. The place was very clean and had the AC unit for heating as well as a dedicated radiator run by electricity, so plenty warm. The shower was perfect. Everything was clean and orderly.

Helen is the most amazing and helpful person. She helped us with anything we needed. Was on her way to town and gave us a ride with her to dinner. She left breakfast items form us in the fridge. Cheese butter jams spreadable chocolate and Honey as well as apples and oranges. This is the best spot to be really close to the airport. I landed in the afternoon and had a connection the following morning. It was really convenient. The best thing there was the personal connection. Thank you Helen for being you!

There was nothing there I did not like

This is a large house with 2-3 different apartments… I think the owner lives in one of them because she was there waiting for us when we arrived. We parked our rental car inside her driveway with a gate so it felt very secure, but honestly, the area felt secure anyway, so we probably would have been just fine parking outside of her property as well. Our apartment was on the ground floor in the back with a private entrance. It was clean and very comfy. We really enjoyed our stay there for the night. We drive 5 min away to find several restaurants for dinner, along with a petrol station to fill the rental car prior to our 8 min drive into the airport. The kitchen was stocked with 4+ kinds of coffee, cream, sugar, tea, cookies, toast, cheese, butter and jelly… and water and fruit in fridge. We had a very nice little breakfast before heading to the airport. Will definitely return anytime we fly in/out of Athens.

It was simply perfect. Helen was kind, welcoming, and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. She picked us up from the airport for a very reasonable price, and also drove us back. She even went above and beyond to help us when we forgot something at the place. The place itself was clean, cozy, and you can really feel the care and effort that went into it. Highly recommended!

Nothing

The accommodation is perfect for spending a long layover between two flights. If you don’t mind a 2 km walk, you can take the metro or the suburban railway (‘Proastiakos’) from Athens Airport to the next stop, ‘Koropi’, and then walk from there to the place. Just keep in mind that you’ll have to walk along a wide main road without a sidewalk. It’s safer to walk on the left side of the road, where cars coming from behind don’t pass too close. The following morning I had to reach the airport before the first public transport connection, but I experienced considerable difficulty arranging a taxi. Fortunately, the owner of the accommodation was able to organise one for me, allowing me to continue my journey smoothly. ♥ Many thanks again! ♥

It’s a basement studio, which feels a bit gloomy, but for just a few hours’ stay it was perfectly fine.

The size of the flat is good. The bed is big and comfy. Nice touch of having fruit, biscuits and a selection of tea and coffee available. Very accommodating host in terms of checking in time.

Helen was extremely helpful, polite and professional at all times, going above and beyond to be helpful.

Nothing really - the close proximity to the airport is very convenient but there was nothing around. However she was extremely helpful to assist eg placing order for pizza delivery.

The weather

The location close to the airport was the best part. It’s a secure place with a great host. She includes everything you would need for a one night stay between flights. They offer a service to pick you up at the airport and drop you back off.

I did not dislike anything. It was exactly what I was expecting.

Location is great for access to airport. We had a 6 am flight so that is why we booked it. Was a 6min drive to airport. About 5 mins away from a nice little area with plenty of food. Lydia was great.. very communicative and attentive!

The pillows were a little lacking. Directly under flight path for landing planes so a little loud but to be expected when looking for a place near airport.

Fit for purpose. Spacious clean and well equipped. Excellent host very willing to assist in any way. Very happy.

C'est l'appartement idéal pour une nuit avant de reprendre l'avion. Le studio est très joli, refait avec goût et très fonctionnel. Il est en entre-sol d'une maison avec une petite terrasse privée pour une totale intimité. La maison est située juste à côté de l'aéroport donc évidemment, on entend les avions, mais le double vitrage est suffisant pour que cela ne soit pas gênant. Elle est dans un quartier assez peu construit, à priori loin de tout, donc sans voiture et un 15 août, nous nous sommes demandés ce que nous allions bien pouvoir faire pour le dîner, mais c'était sans compter sur les attentions de Lydia qui avait mis dans le frigo des œufs, des tranches de pain de mie, du beurre, des figues fraîches et des oranges. Il y avait aussi un paquet de spaghettis dans un placard, donc nous avions tout ce qu'il fallait sans avoir à bouger! Lydia avait aussi allumé la climatisation avant notre arrivée et la pièce était à température idéale! Nous avons passé une excellente nuit!

La maison est au milieu de nulle part donc sans voiture, ce n'est pas évident mais cela ne nous a pas gêné pour une nuit.

Everything about Helen's Cozy Studio was outstanding, beginning with Helen's greeting us at Athens airport upon our arrival. We only spent one night there, as we flew on to Singapore the following day; yet both Helen and Lydia left an indelible impression on us with their superb hospitality. It was beautifully quiet too. For anyone needing a place to stay in transit (or longer - it would be worth it) near Athens airport, this is perfect.

Spacious and clean property. Excellent accomodating hosts. Provided breakfast in the fridge. Good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. Option to get transfer to and from airport. The hosts will even go the extra mile, they helped us print something that we needed. Fantastic, will definitely stay again.

It would be impossible to overstate what a joy it was to stay here. Helen picked me up at the airport (for only €9), was very friendly during the ride, and then welcomed me by picking fruit off of a tree in the front yard! I don't know what the fruit was, but it was so delicious I ate about a dozen of them! The room was stocked with many treats and surprises. At my insistence, I even got to meet her charming family so that I could thank them for their hard work in person. This is the only place I'll ever stay near the Athens airport. Thank you, Helen! ♥️

I wish I could have stayed longer!

We loved the location near the airport, the fact that when our flight was delayed by two hours, Helen still met us at 3 AM to kindly open the door and show us to our beautiful room. Comfy bed, well appointed, lovely breakfast items available with coffee and fresh fruit. Bathroom facilities were excellent. The garden outback was my very favorite.

Helen was a great host. The fridge was filled with good food for breakfast. The apartment is perfectly equipped with everything we needed and much more. It's incredible the attention to detail she has. We will definitely recommend and we will stay here again when coming back to Athens. The apartment is very close to the airport. We used Uber from Koropi station and then also Uber to the airport. It was perfect.

Very nice, large studio apartment with excellent amenities. A great alternative to staying at very expensive airport hotel.

Well, it is listed as being “close” to the airport, in reality it requires a €15-€20 taxi ride to get to and from the Athens airport. The property owner did give us a ride into town for dinner, which was very nice of her. And the local town has some excellent restaurants.
