​Beautiful riad in a great location for a reasonable price! The room was clean and spacious, the interior of the riad is wonderfully preserved, and the staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. Because of our early morning trips, they even prepared takeaway breakfasts for us, which was a really nice touch. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

Desayunos muy completos, con elaboraciones caseras y típicas Marroquíes. Riad muy tranquilo, en la zona norte de la ciudadela, cerca de una de las entradas al zoco pero lo suficientemente alejado para dotar al establecimiento de mucha tranquilidad. La atención del personal fue excelente, La habitación que nos adjudicaron fue amplia y en la azotea, disfrutamos mucho de la terraza.

Heel leuke en mooie riad. Ik was er wel praktisch alleen aanwezig wat het wel maar een rare vibe gaf. Ook was ik over het algemeen niet zo een fan van Marrakech als stad dus dit heeft mss onbewust mijn rating beïnvloed. Maar het ontbijt is dik in orde en de kamers ook!! De ligging is in de oude Medina maar wel eerder in een regio waar sommige locals willen profiteren van je als toerist

Everyone was so kind and warm-hearted. The property sits right in the centre, yet feels remarkably serene. Every corner has been thoughtfully cared for, spotless down to the last detail, and breakfast was truly outstanding. Youssef and his colleague spoiled us throughout our stay, even rearranging breakfast to fit around our excursions and day trips. We couldn't recommend this place more highly, and much of that comes down to the wonderful team behind it.

I have no complaints whatsoever.

Riad Dar Teranga Hotel & Spa is on a great spot, a walking distance away from anything within the Medina. The owner Youssef is super friendly, ready to help and a nice guy. The breakfasts were awesome. I especially loved the yoghurt. I absolutely recommend the riad to anyone.

La posizione è leggermente decentrata, ma ti permette di vedere una parte della città vissuta solo dai residenti. In 15 minuti a piedi sei nella piazza principale. Va benissimo

Szép és igényes szállás, mint a képeken...Nagyon kedvesen fogadtak... Az ágy szuper kényelmes, minden nap takarítás, tiszta törölköző... El Jamal tér 15 perc séta, illetve az autós közlekedés /taxi, get your gide pick up pont stb/2-3 perc séta.

Minden szuper volt, de egy dolog hiányzott a szobából, az pedig a hűtő volt...

Highly recommended! The kindest hosts I’ve ever met. They welcomed us with cold water in the overwhelming Marrakech heat which was greatly appreciated. The riad was well organised and the breakfast was great. They also prepared a full breakfast to go for our early morning tour. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back!

We hadden een geweldige verblijf. Hele vriendelijke personeel en zeer schoon. Onze kamer werd zo mooi opgeruimd zelfs mijn spullen. Onze koffer werd tot taxi gebracht. Super lief. Een onvergetelijke verblijf. Top locatie.

Het is wel heel dichtbij de moskee dus ochtend word je wel wakker gemaakt.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Riad Dar Teranga. Dès notre arrivée, Youssef a parfaitement joué son rôle d’hôte : disponible, attentionné, de bon conseil et toujours prêt à faciliter notre séjour, sans jamais être envahissant. Son accueil et sa gentillesse contribuent réellement à la qualité de l’expérience. Le riad est magnifique, plein de charme et très bien entretenu. Il ne s’agit pas d’un établissement de luxe au sens hôtelier du terme et il n’y a pas de piscine, mais il offre une véritable atmosphère marocaine, avec une très jolie cour intérieure et une agréable terrasse où il fait bon se poser après une journée dans Marrakech. Notre chambre était propre et disposait de tous les équipements nécessaires : salle de bains et WC indépendants, rangements et coffre-fort. L’ensemble est simple, confortable et tout à fait conforme au niveau de prestation annoncé. L’emplacement est également intéressant. Le riad se trouve dans la médina, dans le quartier de Sidi Benslimane, à proximité des souks, du Jardin Secret, du palais Dar el Bacha, de la médersa Ben Youssef et du musée de Marrakech. La place Jemaa el-Fna reste accessible à pied en une quinzaine ou une vingtaine de minutes. On profite donc de la médina tout en étant légèrement à l’écart de l’agitation immédiate de la grande place. Nous avions réservé les transferts depuis et vers l’aéroport directement auprès du riad. C’est un vrai plus, notamment lors d’une première arrivée dans la médina, où il n’est pas toujours évident de trouver immédiatement son chemin avec les bagages. Le petit déjeuner est local, varié et très copieux. Il n’y a pas de service de restauration permanent sur place, mais il est possible de commander des repas et de les prendre au riad. Ceux que nous avons goûtés étaient très bons et, là encore, particulièrement copieux. Nous avons également découvert que le riad pouvait organiser des excursions.

Tudo foi muito bom, desde a chegada até a saída. O riad fica num local tranquilo, não é muito longe da praça central e de outros pontos turísticos. O staff foi incrível, extremamente atenciosos, saímos em um passeio muito cedo e fizeram questão de nos dar comida para levar.

Location was good. It was near the Medina and everything is walking distance. There’s convenience stores around the area. The staff are top-tier! Everyone was hospitable, helpful and really kind.

The main lobby was nice. The staff were amazingly helpful and went above and beyond , very good rate for airport shuttle and the location is amazing, only 17 mins walk to the main square of the markets. Washroom was big and the room was spacious with the AC working amazingly. Definitely recommend!

Riad Dar Teranga was a lovely place to stay. The riad was nice, tidy, and located in a great spot, close to the medina while still being in a quiet and peaceful area. Youssef was an excellent host, very kind, helpful, and always made sure we had everything we needed. He even arranged an early breakfast for us when we had an early tour pickup, which we really appreciated. Mariam was also very nice and always greeted us with a warm smile. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it

The location was perfect for our visit. The whole Riad was clean and the staff were there for anything we needed. I highly recommend this Riad

Riad tranquillo (a parte la vicinanza del muezzim), pulito e ben gestito dal simpatico Youssef. Ottime le colazioni e l'ambiente caratteristico del riad. Non trascurabile l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Grazie!

Yusuf was brilliant and helped us out with any questions we had. We also had a great breakfast every morning.

The transfer from the airport (arrived 1 hour late), I appreciate this is not directly the fault of the riad but still. The A/C didn't work. The toilet seat had velcro for some reason, as if there was meant to be a cover on it that wasn't there? Also note it's in the Medina near mosques, so we were awoken at 5:40 in the morning every day by the loudspeakers for the call to prayer, which lasted 20 whole minutes.

Fantastic breakfast, each day different. Fabulous service by all members of staff. Always polite, ready to help and very patient.

La vicinanza ai souk: con 5 minuti a piedi si arriva alla porta dei souk. La tranquillità del Riad: avendo poche stanze è stato molto tranquillo il soggiorno. La colazione: pur proponendo poche alternative per chi fa una colazione salata, è sempre stata buona e abbastanza ricca. Il Riad per l'ultimo giorno che avevamo l'aereo presto, ci ha preparato la colazione al sacco. La vasca da bagno molto comoda.

Non c'è effettivamente una Spa, poiché massaggi e hammam vengono fatti in un altro Riad ma che è abbastanza distante, quindi il prezzo forse è un po' più alto della media non offrendo comunque una piscina o una spa all'interno. Se sei in vacanza per dormire credo che non faccia per te questo Riad: la mattina presto alle 9 c'è un altoparlante accanto alla camera dove risuona la preghiera per circa 10 minuti e non è molto piacevole.

Es invaluable la experiencia de pasar al menos una noche en este Riad que es un joya arquitectónica. Uno se siente parte de una familia marroquí con la Hermosa, delicada y Gran atención de Youssef. Está aproximadamente a 15-20 minutos de la plaza principal, lo que hace que uno pase por los callejones, baños árabes y pasillos comerciales viviendo la experiencia inmersiva del Marrakesh mas vivo y tradicional. El desayuno exceptional y hecho en casa con deliciosos ingredientes.

Solo como observación, tener en cuenta que de donde llegan los taxis hay que caminar seis minutos hasta el raid. Los paisajes y viviendas que se ven en esos seis minutos, son llenas de vida tradicional.

Pasé 4 días con mi madre mayor en Marrakech y nos encantó tanto el alojamiento como la ciudad. El riad, situado en la zona centro‑norte de la medina, ofrece la combinación perfecta entre cercanía y tranquilidad: lo bastante cerca para llegar caminando a todos los monumentos, pero suficientemente alejado del bullicio para descansar. Desde el primer momento nos sentimos cuidadas y acogidas. Youssef estuvo siempre pendiente de nosotras, asegurándose con una amabilidad extraordinaria de que no nos faltara absolutamente nada, lo que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera todavía más especial.

The riad was clean and very atmospheric, with beautiful, typically Moroccan décor. It was quiet and peaceful, and the staff was very friendly! I highly recommend it.

The room was exactly as portrayed on the photo. Cosy, colourful, warm. Welcoming. Great bathroom, lovely shower. Superb breakfast. Actually didn't feel the need to eat again after breakfast.

Probably due to the time of year, but the breakfast area was a little chilly. Bring a warm jumper for January breakfasts.

Location was great, breakfast was great, rooms were a good size and the manager Youssef was super helpful. He gave great restaurant recs and site recs. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay.

Das Personal war sehr nett! Und das Frühstück echt lecker und jeden Tag ein bisschen anders. Wir wurden auch immer gut satt. Das Riad war generell sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Lage war auch voll okay. 5 Minuten Gehweg bis zum Geschehen und Kiosks für Wasser in der Nähe. Würd ich wieder machen :)

Die Zimmertür ging etwas schwer abzuschließen, da das Schloss wahrscheinlich schon etwas älter ist. Hat trotzdem geklappt, aber wäre vielleicht ein minimaler Kritikpunkt.

We loved the host, Youssef. Breakfast was awesome. Rooms were very comfortable and Riad’s court yard was beautiful. Great location if you want to be in the Medina. Taxi stops you a short walk from the property since they can’t drive to it. Don’t be afraid of the walk, it’s fine and the place is wonderful.

Great host, could not be more helpful in accommodating us, good location just outside the medina, nice and clean.

Found it really difficult to find, although we did telephone and host was helpful, you need to use google maps as apple maps had a lost for over an hour in the medina in the beginning, suggest perhaps putting apple maps on a link for visitors and check you have phone coverage for this country before you depart
