Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Een heerlijk hotel midden in het centrum van Antwerpen. Word uiterst vriendelijk ontvangen aan de receptie. Kregen een upgrade naar een luxe kamer. Geweldig bed. En een super ontbijt. Was voor ons de tweede maal dat we in dit hotel verbleven. Zal zeker niet de laatste keer zijn.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Spacious room, with super comfy bed. Plenty of choice for breakfast with fresh fruit, juices, yogurts, granola, seeded breads, eggs and much more. Staff very helpful. The location is perfect, you're really in the thick of it all, yet on a quiet street. It is a quick walk from the market square, cathedral, Het Steen castle and the riverside. Everything is in walking distance.
I wasn't keen on the see-through bathroom glass but thankfully I was on my own so it didn't matter! I wouldn't choose to stay if I was travelling with a partner or friend as there would be no privacy.

Был забавный момент с завтраком - шведский стол был отличным и довольно разнообразным, хотя завтракали только мы в двоем с сыном и еще один гость. Вероятно, из-за экстремальной жары, отель. был не заполнен в эти дни. В такой ситуации было бы оптимально подавать завтраки а-ля карт. Но нам всё понравилось )
О том что взымается дополнительная плата, хотя и небольшая, за проживание с собакой, нам сообщили только при выселении. Хотя это можно было сделать сразу при бронировании или при заселении. Это - маленький некритичный момент, который никак не омрачил наше пребывание в отеле.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Zeer, maar dan ook zeer uitgebreid en luxe ontbijt. Dit hadden wij niet verwacht. Gedurende de hele dag kan je lekker blijven pakken. De gastvrijheid was echt uitmuntend.
NIETS! Het gaat er vaak om hoe ze dingen oplossen. De airco werkte niet toen wij de eerste nacht daar verbleven. Hier kon de eigenaar niets aan doen. Ze hebben in de nacht nog allemaal airco's gehaald, zodat wij een eigen mobiele airco hadden op onze kamer voor de tweede nacht. Dit heeft de eigenaar echt geweldig opgelost!

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Good location and very very nice staff. The hotel is very well decorated and it is a very good restoration of the historic building. The breakfast was also nice, lots of variety and also non-diary options. Very cozy to have coffee tea and cookies always available in the social area.
Just wish that there would have been a botle of complementary water in the bedroom. The room had a bathtub. Very difficult to bath you can not even stand up. Perhaps not adequate for the price night. But true we have to be reminded its an old historic build brought back to life, and the design and decoration is very nice indeed and room very clean and tidy.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Het personeel is zeer klantvriendelijk en begaan met hun gasten. Het ontbijt was O.K. De ligging van het hotel is uitstekend, ligt in een zeer hippe buurt.
Wij hebben dit gemeld bij het uitchecken. Het duurde zeer lang tot we warm water hadden in de douche. Het probleem is gekend. Wij hadden één van de kamers waar het lang duurde tot het warm water ons bereikte, volgens de receptionist. Het is blijkbaar eigen aan een authentiek gebouw.

Das Badezimmer, vor allem die Dusche sieht sehr alt und renovierungsbedürftig aus , angeblich ist diese Ausstattung aber gewollt und Absicht, was ich nicht verstehen kann. Föhn hatte einen Wackelkontakt. Der Schrank könnte mal ausgewechselt werden, ist zwar schön aber unkomfortabel. Das Badezimmerfenster ließ sich nicht öffnen.

A long wait for hot water to come through on the third floor, though our friends on the second had no problem. Bedroom fairly basic, not a lot of room, and bedside lighting could have been better.

Reviewed May 21, 2026The welcome from Cedric at the reception was fanstastic. We had already interacted before via messaging, he was very responsive anf gave good advice. All went perfectly. We came 2 hours before checkin but the room was ready and They upgraded us to a suite looking at the cathedral. The king bed was very comfortable, and the morning breakfast very good. There were not so many people in the hotel but the staff was very polite and attentive. Obviously, the location is hard to beat, right in the center and close to the main things to see.
It might be only in the Suite, but It is weird to see the WC right in the room without partition ;) you have to know that if you, say, are going on a trip with your new partner ;) we did not find that annoying in our case though. Otherwise there is nothing to say. I would not consider any other hotel if going back to Antwerpen.

die durch Bauarbeiten per KFZ schwierige Anfahrt (Navigation war nicht hilfreich) hätte auf der Hotel-Website dargestellt werden können und den PKW-Fahrern erläutert werden können. Wir parkten dann im öffentlichen Groete Plaats Parkhaus, was kein Problem darstellte.

Reviewed May 3, 2026Sehr gute Lage, alles in Walking-Distance in der Altstadt erreichbar. Sehr nette Leute und sehr persönlicher Service, der einem die Wünsche aus dem Gesicht liest. Ein Hotel mit Charme.
Leider ist rund um das Hotel noch eine Baustelle (ohne Lärmimissionen), aber auch diese werden bald Geschichte sein, stört nicht wirklich.

De indeling van het hotel en de kamers is bijzonder. Kamers aan de straatzijde hebben te maken met geluidsoverlast. Het hotel heeft daarom oordoppen op hte nachtkastje gelegd.
