Reviewed Jun 1, 2026The house is very warmy with beautiful view. The host is very attentive and kind. The garden is amazing. The First floor is very nice designed and also the bath in the second floor. The kids loved the games the host left for them.
Two of the bedrooms has old furnitures and old smell. The kids didn't want to sleep there. But the third one was big enough for all of them.

Reviewed Sep 29, 2025Everything was perfect! Location, the entire house, the amenities! You name anything and they had it! Fully functional kitchen, 3 bedrooms, lounge, patio! It is only 8-9mins drive from Stryn center.
Just a recommendation : To have house slippers/house shoes available for use.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025Prachtige uitzicht, veel rust en hele vriendelijke hosts. Het huis is net als op de foto's. Het huis is ruim en kindvriendelijk; een kinderstoel en speelgoed zijn aanwezig. Het is 10 minuten rijden van Stryn winkelcentrum. Je bent dus dichtbij het winkelcentrum, maar toch in een rustige omgeving. Ook is het centraal gelegen om diverse kanten op te rijden (bv. Olden, Geiranger, Kjenndalsbreen, Lovatnet, Briksdalbreen, Nordfjordeid, etc binnen 1 a 2 uur rijden). De wegen nabij de woning zijn goed. Wij hebben ook wat langere dagtrips gedaan. Je kunt naast de woning op eigen terrein parkeren. Het huis is een mix van modern met klassiek. Zo heb je toch het comfort van een goede keuken/badkamer en slaap je bv in een wat klassieke/oude kamer. De hosts waren makkelijk bereikbaar voor tips en hulp. Ik kreeg altijd snel en vriendelijk reactie. Inchecken en uitchecken was makkelijk. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf.
Het zijn geen hele grote punten, maar als ik echt een paar dingen moet benoemen: er waren tijdens ons verblijf veel vliegen in de woning, sommige pannen of bv de waterkoker heb ik toch even schoongemaakt voor gebruik, en er zijn geen gordijnen op de benedenverdieping. Deze dingen speelden echter niet de hoofdrol tijdens ons verblijf. Wij hebben een zeer goed verblijf gehad en vonden het jammer toen het weer tijd was om naar huis te gaan.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2025Het huis ligt op een super mooie locatie net buiten het centrum van Stryn aan het meer. Met mooi weer echt een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen! Het huis was ruim en was een combi van nieuw en oud door elkaar. Mooie badkamer(s) en prima bedden om op te slapen. De eigenaren hebben al veel vernieuwd in en om het huis. Het contact via Booking.com verliep heel fijn ! Wij zijn in ieder geval erg tevreden over ons verblijf!
De indeling van de keukenkastjes was wel wat rommelig, maar dat had ook weer zijn charme!

Reviewed Jul 31, 2025We loved the peaceful location with stunning mountain and lake views. The house was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. It truly felt like a relaxing getaway in nature. 🌿
There were not many trash bins distributed in the rooms, but this is not really a negative point, as we noticed the same situation in different places we stayed at.

لا شي فقط ستائر الدور الارضي الشمس لا يوجد وجودها يخفف من قوه اشعه الشمس جه الكنب وفي الليل وقت الاضاءه لا يوجد خصوصيه مكشوف من الخارج اتمني وضع ستائر.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2024Lovely old house full of character with very nice modern bathrooms and kitchen. Warm and quiet. Amazing setting by lake and mountains with views in every direction. Lots of things to do nearby in very scenic area. Appreciated the clothes airer.
Steep staircase. Lighting in kitchen and loungeroom very dull.
