Er was niet overal zonwering, waardoor het erg warm was op de slaapkamers tijdens de hittegolf.

The house was very convenient to our event in Chimay. Beautiful views of the pastures behind the home. The house is very roomy and comfortable. Great value. There were a couple beers in the fridge upon arrival.

The hosts don’t provide bath towels, so we had to find a store to buy them and then leave them behind. Not very convenient for international travelers. Not a complaint, but an observation. Window screens are not typical in this part of Europe and the proximity of the home to the pastures leads to a lot of flies in the house.

Magnifique maison, très confortable, décorée avec goût. La terrasse et le jardin sont très agréables.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au gîte La Trappe Rêves. Le gîte est beau, spacieux, très calme, parfaitement propre et très bien équipé. On s’y sent tout de suite à l’aise. Sandrine (notre hôte) s’est également montré très disponible et bienveillante : nous avions oublié nos serviettes de toilette et elle a rapidement trouvé une solution pour nous aider, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Tout était vraiment parfait du début à la fin. Un grand merci pour ce séjour ! Et mention spéciale pour la petite Chimay bien fraîche qui nous attendait dans le frigo à notre arrivée, une attention très appréciée.

C'était top de chez top. Logement très très appréciable pour notre week-end. Nous retenons l'adresse si nous retournons dans le secteur. Merci pour votre gentillesse ! Tout était présent pour passer un agréable séjour.

Gerenoveerde woning met veel ruimte en alle comfort inclusief Chimay glazen. Op enkele minuutjes met de wagen van de abdij van Scourmont en op minder dan 15 minuutjes van centrum Van Chimay. Mogelijkheid tot wandelingen (plannetjes beschikbaar in de Gite) en fietsen. WiFi werkte perfect. Bedankt voor de Chimay delighther !

Filet de porc besteld maar absoluut niet mals.

we hadden persoonlijk erg veel last van de vele wespen die aanwezig waren, maar daar kan de host niets aan doen.

Heerlijk verblijf in België in een ruim en comfortabel huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. De keuken en het leefgedeelte zijn groot en ideaal voor een gezellig samenzijn. Er zijn drie slaapkamers met comfortabele bedden (twee tweepersoonsbedden en twee losse bedden), plus een extra bed op de overloop. Fijn dat er een wasmachine en droger aanwezig waren, en dat er op het laatste moment nog tuinstoelen geregeld konden worden. De ligging is iets minder privé doordat de buren dichtbij zitten met enkel een schutting ertussen, maar verder was het een heerlijk onderkomen waar we volop van hebben genoten.

Such a kind and lovely host; she made sure the cottage was ready 4hrs before check in as we requested to check in early. Loved the cottage; everything about it was perfect for our family of 5. We quite enjoyed the view looking out from the sliding glass door of the kitchen to the green fields outside where we can see cows grazing in the distance. The rooms were big, very spacious and the beds were so comfy. The kitchen has loads of cooking and eating utensils so there were no problems in cooking a meal in the cottage. Also has a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer which was so convenient for us as we were travelling with 3 kids. There is also a clothes airer in the cottage which I preferred to use. All in all, the cottage was clean and had everything to cater for our family's stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage.

Context: We were of group of 6 coming from the Netherlands for a relaxing weekend. Great location. Very quiet and in nature. Host is very friendly and answers quickly via chat. The property is fully equipped (was not expecting that there will be charcoal, cooking oil, some spices, coffee, etc.) and very modern with all the amenities you may need. There is a dishwasher which makes cleaning easier. Everything was extraordinary. Shower water debit is very good, beds are very comfortable. Everything was super clean. Self check-in allows the freedom to reach the property at the desired hour.

New house, very spacious and value for money. The owner is so kind and friendly. The back yard view is awesome.

Modern chalet, very spacious, clean and bright, with floor heating, sufficient pots and pans for cooking, comfortable beds, friendly host who replies quickly (though she addresses only 1 out of each 3 questions), quiet surroundings, close to hiking paths.

Weak wifi connection on ground floor, no connection on first floor, no microwave, no hairdryer, low light on dinner table. Host speaks only French. No doors in kitchen, so smells go in the whole house (though bedrooms have doors). Bedrooms and bathroom remained cold (though separate electric heater was provided).
