nfortunately, our stay at this resort was very disappointing. The service was poor, the staff were not very responsive, and the overall experience did not match what was promised. The rooms and facilities also felt poorly maintained, which made the stay uncomfortable. For the price we paid, we expected much better hospitality, cleanliness, and service. I would not recommend this guest unless significant improvements are made

Too overpriced for the stay for the facilities provided at the stay. The bathroom was not clean and clearly it could be improved more. The food prices at the cafe were also on the higher end which was separate and not related to the stay. I'm editing my review rating from 5 to 7 as the cafe food prices was definitely not related to the stay and i agree to it . But cleanliness can be improved as the wardrobe at the cottage was also not good and even the washroom cleanliness can be improved

The staff was friendly and kind.

I guess the exterior of the guest house was pretty aesthetic and good looking. The rooms look better in pics. Also the cafe food was mid, nothing was especially good apart from chicken schnitzel. Overall hygiene of the food was fine, but taste was lacking by miles.

It was really pathetic. Bedsheets had burnt marks from cigarettes, the mattress itself was really uncomfortable, though they were spring mattresses, the springs are so old and need changing really uncomfortable, waking up with body pains everyday. The room walls are so thin that we could hear the other room's AC, their conversations also, cafe is playing music all the time so expect to hear thumping all the time in your bedroom. Bathroom had insects which is natural but it was stinking, water stream was overall very weak. The flush would leak on flushing. Overall the tray to keep your toiletries was dirty. Couldn't stop with the complaints.

After Booking...owner called and told don't come...your booking is a technical error....i asked him to cancel it if it is a technical issue which he didn't do and I had to change the plan for my stay and later i got message your booking got cancelled due to no show

Our stay at the Mowglis Cafe Hampi was simply wonderful. The property is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery and serene surroundings that make it the perfect escape from city life. It’s truly a gem of a place- the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, AC works perfectly, with 24/7 hot water and strong Wi-Fi. A special thanks to the owner, who was extremely helpful, humble, attentive, and always ready to help, making our experience even better. but the real highlight is the exceptional breakfast and dinner-a must try experience. They also provide rickshaw arrangements at a very reasonable price and exploring the sights in an auto makes the experience even more enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and pleasant. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Hampi. Thank you for making our trip so memorable! A truly relaxing and memorable experience - we can't wait to come back!

Mowglis Cafe Hampi is an absolute gem! The view is breathtaking, perfect for watching the sunset while soaking in the peaceful vibes of this historic town. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with cozy seating and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff and owner were friendly, attentive and respectful, which made the whole experience even more memorable. The food and drinks were top notch - fresh, flavorful, and served with a smile. Whether you’re looking to unwind, catch a beautiful sunset, or just enjoy some great food, this place has it all. Me and my friends joined other group trip and ended up meeting some really amazing people along the way. A must-visit when in Hampi!

What a location! Beautiful bamboo huts built over the rice and banana fields, surrounded by stunning boulders & scenery..Vibes we get as if we feel that we are in Kasol. Ambience is awsm. Service provided is great. Friendly and helpful staff make organising visiting temples etc really easy. We loved the food we had try varieties of menu but best part food we like was Paneer masala, pasta & pizza.Also the Coffee was at it best.So guys do stay at Mowglis cafe only. Great cafe with really good food and drinks. I would definitely recommend to anyone 😊

Beautiful location, majestic mountains,relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff. It is a great place to unwind, enjoy delicious food, and explore the charm of Hampi. A must visit place and highly recommended for a laid-back stay!

We initially planned to stay for 2 days but ended up staying 5 days. It’s a value for money. Location - safe & scenic location with boulders all around. Close to all key attractions in North Hampi. Rooms - large, spacious, neat & clean rooms. All basic stuff like towels, soaps, shampoo, kettle, complementary water bottles provided nicely. AC was working great throughout. Nice balcony to sit out. Wifi works great. Staff - Pavan and other staff was very courteous, always made sure to respond to every request & did their best to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The owner Pampi is very friendly and customer satisfaction is what he looks for. Transport - we took transport arranged by the Resort. Nagaraj is amazing. He knows each and everything in Hampi and takes you around to ensure you don't miss on anything. Food -We’ve tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner-everything was extremely delicious and hygienic.. So, no second thoughts. Mowgli’s cafe hampi & guest house is highly recommended.. when i visit Hampi again, I will stay here without a second thought.

Will do anything for the guests just to make them satisfied and happy. Great roof-cafe with really delicious food and the unique vibe of this place makes up for it.. Had an incredible stay at Mowglis Cafe Hampi and Guest House! A beautiful property in the middle of paddy and banana fields with a huge in-house extremely aesthetic roof-top cafe. The food was outstanding, with a wide range of delicious options, great service and a place that captures the vibe of Hampi. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive, making our experience truly memorable. The room was very spacious, with clean sheets, and the washroom was well-maintained with excellent hygiene. And the rooms we booked were double-bed rooms with air conditioning, which worked perfectly. However, if you book a non-AC room, they provide a movable air cooler along with a ceiling fan, which is much appreciated. The breathtaking views from the room were the icing on the cake. We were mesmerized by the stunning scenery. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hampi! Excellent service, scrumptious food, and breathtaking views make for a perfect gateway.

The room was very spacious and clean. Resort was also maintained well. Very friendly and helpful staff. They helped with guide booking. Good wifi in the property. The location is in north Hampi which is about 15-20 mins from the popular locations in North Hampi. This resort is surrounded by boulders and lush green paddy fields. The environment is serene and ideal for relaxing. Fresh towels, soaps, shampoo, a kettle, glasses, and toiletries were provided, fulfilling all the basic needs. Cafe set up is superb. One can spend quality leisure time in the cafe in the evening. Food options exceeded expectations. We could not believe what a superb value for money the food was, given the quantity, quality & the authenticity of the cuisine. The floor seating in the restaurant is very comfortable & we really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. There is ample parking & our driver was well taken care of. Also liked how easy the property made our stay they have arranged scooter for the sight seeing, customise the food at some extent, made our anniversary extra special with special request they are offering arranging cakes and decorations big thanks for making our extra special... Strongly recommend this place for any one visiting the areas around Hampi.

Its a good resort with wonderful staff. Pavan there helps alot with the info and for making the necessary travel arrangements.

The food here is not sorted. They've a restaurant within the restaurant but its ownership is of different person's. Hence there's no room service which is a big lag.

Amazing property at a great location. The cafe serves good quality food and plays nice chill music, so you can eat, chill and relax. Dorms, rooms are clean and very well maintained. Tungabadra canal is at walkable distance which is a nice spot for evening walks.

There is nothing not to like...

It was a last minute plan on my end to travel to Hampi, and Mowgli's Cafe was bookend 8 hours before I started for Hampi from Hyderabad during Dushera festival. Initially, I was skeptical how the property would turn out, but a quick call/chat with Pavan (owner) and a few whatsapp photos confirmed that the property was IDENTICAL to what was claimed on booking. Furthermore, the host (Pavan) handled us very courteously and in general the entire length of the stay was warm, welcome and reassuring. The property is SAFE and located strategically close to the Hospet Highway and Anegundi, this stretch is gives an amazing driving experience and the cottage's location behind the boulder mountains overlooking the paddy fields is breathtaking. The restaurant staff has GREAT culinary skills and are doing a great job with their recipes. We tried different food each day, the PIZZA options are great alongside the breakfast. Also, the evening ambience is complete with amazing non-veg food options especially the BULLET Chicken. I would RECOMMEND this as a great place for friends and family.

The WiFi for the last row of cottages needs to be relocated for better signal strength and coverage. It would be great for WFH tourists who would like to work while holidaying such as me.

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable room with good fan, the staff were super helpful too. The best part is the restaurant/cafe, the food is honestly amazing and the staff were great :) exceeded my expectations!

The air conditioning was available only for rooms given to foreigners. Our rooms were basic and there's plenty of scope for improvement in housekeeping, bathroom kits, storage facilities, few hangers, tea/coffee kettle.

The location next to the rice farming landscape & hills. & The food was awesome.

It's too hot in summers.

The views are great and the huts quite original (there are many like these in the local neigbhourhood though). With a cab all the Hampi attractions can be reached easily. The food in the hotel next to Mowgli's Cafe was good.

No a/c (and we were there when it was really hot); the music/dance in the hotel next door was very loud, so sleep came late. And on a side track: if an accommodation is called Mowgli's Cafe, it should offer food, etc.

Variety in food, but dosa idli can also be added.

No AC as of now, so it is difficult in summer, but good in winter weather.
