We loved everything 💜

Die Lage ist sehr gut um viele Attraktionen im Umfeld zu erreichen. Ein Pub mit super netter Bedienung und ein kleiner Einkaufsladen sind auf der anderen Strassenseite. Auch Burger und andere Sachen bekommt man gegenüber in einem kleinen Imbiss. Die Unterkunft selbst ist etwas besonderes. Hat man nicht alle Tage und passt zu einem Urlaub in Irland.

Die Ausstattung der Küche bietet Raum für Optimierungen. Besteck und Geschirr war nicht ausreichend vorhanden, selbst für zwei Personen nicht.

Lovely cottage clean close to beach and the small courtyard great kids could run in and out but just make sure big gate is closed we definitely be back again 😀

The cottage has a great location, very close to the National Heritage Centre or to the beach.

We would like more utensils as we cooked in the cottage, also more toilet paper. Overall the communication with the owner was exceptionally good and he was always happy to help.

An attractive, well renovated and thoughtfully provisioned cottage providing very comfortable and relaxing accommodation. The shop over the road is open late and provides better than basic provisions. Great communication from host.

Mostly very quiet but aware of a larger passing vehicles.

We love the cottage feel & the location is excellent, clean, comfortable, ease of access, straight forward check in & out would highly recommend & will stay again 😁

What's not to like

Excellent location, perfect accommodation for a group or family.

We didn't fine a kitchen towel there.

The cottage was a little quirky which was part of it's charm. Lovely seating area outside.

No fault of the owners, however the bedrooms were a bit of a squeeze. A bedside table would have been useful. Instructions on how to work things such as the heating would have been handy.

A pub and a grocery store with a deli are nearby.

The room was not cleaned when we arrived at the property. Later, on request, they cleaned the property.

We were 4 friends going to the Saltee Islands and it was perfect to stay at the Forge the night before.

Good oven and living area to enjoy one another’s company and play games. ( A selection available).

Everything!! Very good location. Very well equipped. Enclosed yard for dog. Little shop and pub close by. Easy parking. No steps/stairs.

Property was fantastic and in a great location. Dinner at Mary Barry’s was really good but would recommend booking in advance. The shop across the road had everything you needed and does the most amazing ice creams.

It’s very comfortable and the pub across the road was very nice also. The house was perfect for our family.

Fab period property, even met the owner who gave us a little bit of the history. Spotlessly clean,comfortable with all the comforts of home. Shop across the road for all the essentials , amazing ice cream and really friendly staff. Pub across the road too, so no taxi required. All in all 10/10. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

The Forge was very comfortable with all the facilities needed, the location was great and it was a big hit with both adults and child we en alike.

A truly dreamy, cozy, and beautiful apartment! It was absolutely perfect for all of our activities and made our stay so enjoyable. Everything was spotless, well-organized, and wonderfully warm, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We would love to come back again anytime!

The heating in the bedrooms was too high

Location is great- local shop and pub right across the road. Complementary bus to and from Mary Barry’s restaurant was amazing. The house was lovely- warm, comfortable beds, clean, lovely bathroom and Padraic’s communication was excellent. Would highly recommend.

The uniqueness of the space was beautiful. Tastefully decorated with everything you’d need. Padraic was very helpful and responsive to queries.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Extremely comfortable property; peaceful village location (bedroom overlooks a road but you wouldn’t know it as it is so quiet); very well-appointed spaces; well-equipped kitchen; owner was extremely helpful and responsive. We had a fantastic stay.

Washing machine and dryer are shared with the other rental property (an issue if the occupants of the other property use the facilities excessively).

Beautiful cottage had everything a holiday Home should have would highly recommend, we had 3 children with us they had a ball playing in the beautiful courtyard as the adults enjoyed a glass of wine. In driving distance to everything will definitely return.

Couldn’t open the windows in the bedrooms, so it was a bit stuffy and hot

Location fantastic, shop and pub over the road, coast 20 mins away, wexford 20 mins. Courtyard area absolutely gorgeous , felt like we were in France! Beds comfortable and kitchen good. Living area very nicely arranged. We loved it.

Few more kitchen utensils and dishes be good but no big deal

The location was very good as a base for visiting various places on my first visit to ireland. and being close to rosslare meant not too early to get up to catch the morning ferry home. it was nice that the cottage retained some of the old forge features after being converted.

there wasn't anything not to like , everything i needed for a comfortable stay was there.

The property was absolutely brilliant 👏, great little town too and very friendly people. I would highly recommend. Would I return.....in a heart beat.

The cottage is lovely and comfortable. Has a real charm to it .. the host padraic was very helpful ...we will definitely be booking this place again in near future...👌 the cottage is only a 10 min drive from all amenities..we have 2 young kids so worked perfect for us.

Property was excellent. Extremely clean and all essentials provided. Very good location and central to all the attractions in Wexford.

Being a female there was only one mirror in the hallway so there was fight for it in the morning between all the women. I would recommend putting mirrors in the bedrooms to avoid this Issue 😃.

Great location with shop across the road for essentials and Kilmore Quay a short drive out the road. Washing machine and dryer was a lifesaver with all the laundry we accumulated with 2 small kids. Cottage was spacious and well equipped with most things we needed and was clean and comfortable.

It would have been great to have folder with info and tips as we found there were very few places to eat out mon -wed, where to put the bins out etc.

We had a wonderful week at The Forge. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable, and Padraic checked in with us several times during our stay. The "community" is very small but with a handy small grocery across the street.

The rooms are a great size and very comfortable. The living room and kitchen are well equipped and offer a very relaxed space. The whole accommodation was clean and also offers a good outdoor area. There is a pub opposite that has food and a great pint as well, which is also both child and dog friendly. A shop next to the pub has pretty much all needs covered. A great stay and very near the Rosslare ferry.
