Reviewed Sep 13, 2026We spent a wonderful weekend here together, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the right place. The location is fantastic — right in the historic harbor of Urk, with a beautiful view of the water and boats from the living room. The apartment itself is something special. It is located in a beautiful old historic building, which a skilled designer has completely and very tastefully restored. Everything inside feels brand new, while the original building's character has been wonderfully preserved. The modern kitchen is exceptionally well equipped — you really have everything you could need. The bathroom feels like a five-star hotel, with a toilet, bathtub, and wonderful rain shower. The automatic heating and ventilation system works perfectly, and the air conditioning in the main bedroom was a real bonus. And the beds deserve a special mention! They were so comfortable that we slept like children and woke up so late that we almost missed check-out! The living room is equally inviting, with very comfortable sofas and chairs and, best of all, that fantastic large view over the harbor. It is the kind of place where you can simply sit, relax, and watch the world go by.
We missed only two small things: a large-screen TV would have been a nice addition, and we couldn't find any salt and pepper in the kitchen. Apart from these very minor points, everything was excellent. Beautifully restored, extremely comfortable, exceptionally well equipped, and in a truly wonderful location. We would happily come back — and that is probably the best compliment we can give.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026When I went into the apartment passing the corridor and then seeing this huge, spacious, luxurious and beautiful living room with kitchen I was just amazed! It is just like in the pictures, maybe even more beautiful and the little snacks were so kind. I felt really welcomed. It was very clean and spotless, the furniture is so tasteful, the air conditioning in the bedroom worked well, kitchen perfectly equipped. I booked this apartment only for myself and I felt like a queen there ;) Parking there is also very easy and the huge parking lot is very close to the apartment. I have seen many beautiful apartments und suits in hotel rooms during my journeys but honestly, this is one of the best! If I could give more than 10 stars, I definitely would!

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026Fantastische locatie in de haven. Appartement is echt supermooi. Kan zo in een woonblad. Echt alles is aanwezig. Gratis koffie/thee, flesje wijn, wat lekkers. Echt geweldig.
Kan maar 1 ding bedenken, mocht je langer verblijven, dan ga je misschien de tv missen. Wij waren er maar één nacht dus niet gemist.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026De ligging is geweldig midden in de haven van Urk. Het appartement is prachtig luxe en compleet ingericht en ruim van opzet.
De 2e slaapkamer valt erg tegen. De bedden zijn te klein voor volwassen mensen. Er zit geen raam in en dat maakt het niet erg aangenaam. Dit appartement is niet geschikt voor 4 volwassen mensen.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026The apartment was huge and beautifully decorated. Centrally located and very convenient parking for our car nearby. Our hostess was very easy to communicate with and we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. The large windows gave us a gorgeous view of the harbour and it was wonderful to be able to spread out during our trip (even for just one night).
Not a problem for us, but there is a stairwell (not too difficult) up to the apartment door and also there was no television. Again, we didn't care, but others might expect one to be there.

Eigenlijk is er echt niks negatiefs op de accommodatie aan te merken, maar een balkonnetje met zitje zou de ervaring nog beter gemaakt hebben. Vooral omdat er zoveel reuring is. Op een balkonnetje is dat net even gezelliger.

Reviewed Nov 27, 2025Het royale appartement is meer dan fantastisch met alle luxe en comfort die je je maar kunt wensen. Aan werkelijk alles is gedacht. Ook heel veel kleine attenties, zoals koffie, een flesje wijn en zoutjes. We voelden ons heel welkom en zouden het liefst nog wat langer zijn gebleven. Ook de ligging is perfect; centraal gelegen in het oude dorp en alles op loopafstand. De prachtige keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien, maar om onszelf nog extra te verwennen hebben wij heerlijk ontbeten in De Oude Bakkerij. Een aanrader, zowel Bij de Haven op Urk, als de Oude Bakkerij. Wij komen hier graag weer terug!

Reviewed Nov 24, 2025Alles. Als je binnenstapt is het overweldigend. Een subliem en groot(s) appartement. Luxe, voortreffelijk ingericht. Sfeervol. Alles aanwezig. Er is niet iets wat 'gewoontjes' is. Ik heb geen TV ontdekt en zelfs dat is een voortreffelijke keuze..
Niets. Op een dergelijk onderkomen kun je domweg geen enkel negatief woord zeggen. Menig bezoeker die hier verblijft heeft het thuis zo volledig, groot en compleet ingericht.

Très sympa d'avoir mis à disposition une petite bouteille de vin blanc, de l'eau, café, chocolats et biscuits. On se sent bien. Lit grand et super confort. Je recommande à 100%!

Het enigste wat wij misten was een tv. Wij waren er met onze kleindochter. Die lag om 19u op bed. Dus dan kun je niet meer weg. Maar voor de liefhebbers waren er spelletjes genoeg.

Reviewed Sep 28, 2025De plek, het contact met de hostess ( heel vriendelijk) en het appartement zelf waren allemaal top. Erg mooi gestyled en goede bedden. Alles erg schoon en een warm welkom gevoel bij binnenkomst. Koffie en thee faciliteiten aanwezig. Badjassen en sloffen. Kortom het ontbreekt hier aan niks en is fantastisch! Hebben genoten van dit prachtige appartement!.
Niks alles was perfect. Er is geen tv maar die hebben wij niet gemist.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2025Het luxueuze appartement was zeer schoon en comfortabel, van alle gemakken voorzien en staat op mooie locatie aan de haven. Ondanks dat het in een levendige omgeving staat, ervaar je binnen nauwelijks geluidsoverlast met de open schuifpui. Vlakbij is een grote parkeerplaats waar je gratis je auto kunt parkeren.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2025Een zee aan ruimte, een muur van glas naar het oosten gericht, een volledig ingerichte hedendaagse stijlvolle keuken en badkamer, overal dimmers, een toog en een tafel voor 6, een wasruimte, een diepvriezer, alles nieuw en proper op een toplocatie in een historisch dorp. Correcte communicatie met de eigenaar en met alle inwoners van Urk.
Er was geen TV om de stilte te breken. Niet echt gemist want er was WIFI. De 2° kamer heeft geen raam. De automatische verlichting in de gang werkte omgekeerd. De 2° ingangsdeur sloot niet goed, Er ontbreken een paar werktuigen moest u van plan zijn om intensief te koken.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2025Es war wirklich eine sehr schön eingerichtete Wohnung. Super sauber und modern. Alles war vorhanden vom Spültabs bis hin zu Waschmaschinenpads. Auch die nähere und fernere (Amsterdam) Umgebung ist super zu erreichen durch schnelle Autobahnanbindung.
Eigentlich gar nichts. Es gab nur keine Eierbecher ( oder ich habe sie übersehen). Ansonsten alles top.

The apartment is opposite the harbour close to shops, and free parking is available around the corner. The old centre and lighthouse is all within walking distance.
We could not find anything. We liked everything.

Wish the bed had a better mattress. Wish booking.com hadn't sold it to me as a 2-bed property. My son and I had to share.
