Très bon accueil malgré notre arrivée tardive de notre hôte ainsi que ses conseils pour un restaurant.Et surtout,Doren parle bien français !! Et est guidé sur Cork . De quoi prendre un petit café est prévu mieux vaut prévoir son petit déjeuner . Chambre bien situé pour reprendre le ferry car pas très loin . Merci !!

Dommage que nous n'ayons pas pu vous dire au revoir ce matin Doren ...

A água quente dura pouco, o autoclismo faz imenso barulho durante imenso tempo. De manhã fizeram imenso barulho logo às 7h30 da manhã.

Sehr gemütliches, ruhiges und sauberes Zimmer/ Badezimmer. Die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich. Außerdem wird ein sehr gut funktionierendes W-LAN zur Verfügung gestellt.

Nice and quiet as this is a country location. Room was comfortable and well appointed.

It is isolated, so be prepared with food or supplies, or be prepared to drive 10mins into town.

PILLOWS WERE TOO HIGH FOR COMFORT.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall ihren Preis wert! Genau der richtige Stop für eine Reise nach Cork. In der Nacht hat man wirklich seine Ruhe! :-) Wenn man Irlands Landschaften liebt, genau richtig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Die Badezimmertüre knarrt sehr laut, und die Spülung macht ab und zu lustige Geräusche direkt nach dem Spülen, aber das ist nicht so schlimm. :-) Außerdem hat das WLAN leider nicht so gut funktioniert :-(

Convenient and peaceful

The house is in a beautiful location, and the view from the room is very nice. There were some bonus items prepared, which we appreciated. The accommodation was cheap compared to others, which is an advantage.

A moody young man welcomed us, who seemed angry that we disturbed him, even though we arrived early. His partner was nice. The house was very run-down, and the owners lived in a mess, which was impossible to overlook since the path to the room went through their living space. The bed was very uncomfortable and of poor quality. When one of us turned, the other would fly up in the air. The bathroom was a drama, but the landlords were aware of this because a notice warned us in advance. When someone turns on the cold water tap, the water starts to sputter and often splashes in your face, making it difficult to wash.

The room was so very comfortable and Doreen and was such a pleasant and gracious host who couldn't do enough for us, was very helpful and was so happy with our stay.

Couldn't find any downside to our stay.

The owner is very kind, she gave me clear directions to reach the place and put signs om the walls to direct me to the room

despite the clear directions, it would be good if they put a sign on the entrance from the road. You trust the GPS but until you walk to the door and see the keybox you cannot be 100% sure to be in the right place. I could not shower since there were no instruction on how to power up the shower, this was disturbing. And the sheets were not comfortable (rather old).
