- il n'y a PAS de lave-linge dans le logement : celà a été la surprise en arrivant ! un document expliquant les règles de la maison indiquait qu'il fait payer. Nous avions choisi ce logement aussi pour pouvoir faire une lessive pour le reste du séjour. Cette tromperie est sanctionnée par une note de 8 au lieu de 10. -un aménagement de transat sur la terrasse donnant sur la mer serait un plus : nous avions récupérer les chaises de la terrasse de l'avant

Spacious and comfortable apartment villa situated on top of a hill. Wonderful ocean and nature views and within 45 minute drive of hiking and top beaches. Nice size kitchen with everything you need in the event you want to cook anything. The host Val was extremely helpful and responsive. You will need to rent a car or pay for taxis if you stay here, but that really is the case in St. Lucia unless you stay on a resort.

The apartment was lovely and the views were beautiful. It was very comfortable. The host was quick to respond and very helpful.

You need access to a car as the beaches, attractions and supermarkets are a 20-30 minute drive away.

Story Villa is just past the town of Canaries (heading north) around a couple sharp turns. Look for painted rocks on the left (green & orange) in front of the villa. There is also a Canaries sign by the villa for southbound travelers. The villa deck has a nice view, but, overall, the villa is a basic accommodation for traveling elsewhere. The AC worked well, the kitchen is adequate, & the bed is average comfy. The people in St Lucia are very friendly & helpful, which is a good thing for wayward travelers who are trying to navigate the roads & find destinations.

Story Villa is a challenge to find at first. Walking to Canaries is not convenient & there's little to see, anyway. The road to Soufriere is not particularly pleasant, but it does have a couple great vistas. It takes about 15 mins to get to Soufriere & at least 45 mins to points north. A floor fan would be a nice addition. The shower is so-so.
