Room located in beautiful garden home, although bathroom is not inside room, clean, cozy and spacious, family runs the business, they all are hospitable and speaking good English!

Komang and his wonderful wife Wayan were exceptional hosts, the room was clean, comfortable. I got served breakfast and dinner out front of my room, the location was spot on as I wanted to check out all the waterfalls in the area. The ensuite was sizeable but a few steps away from the room, I'm guessing it was added later.

No fault to the hosts but there were some roosters who were vocal in the morning but it was outside Ubud, more rural area, it was ok, kind of added to the whole family feeling.

Travelling with my son, we wanted to experience an authentic village life and to be part of Balinese culture. The Arya family did so much to please us. We had lovely home cooked food every day and watched the family do their ceremonies. The property is kept at high standard, very clean and the veranda offers a nice view to the garden with beautiful Frangipani trees! If this is the experience you are looking for only choose Umah Arya! The town is also centrally located to reach different destinations with Grab or private driver.

Everything was perfect!

J'ai aimé la simplicité du lieu. La vie au cœur d'une famille balinaise dans l'amour et le respect. Très bien placé à proximité de magnifiques cascades. Une chambre à l'extérieur de la maison principale, un logement autonome. Une salle de bain privative. Un peu de simplicité fait du bien 🙏

Habitación muy cuqui , sabanas super limpias, olían muy bien, terraza fresquita, cálida bienvenida y ambiente relajado. La familia que lo regenta es agradable y hospitalaria. Rico y pausado desayuno para afrontar el día . Se puede ir a pie a varias cascadas, están muy cerca y son espectaculares. En general la gente de la zona parece muy amable y sonriente, es un lugar apacible para encontrar la serenidad.

Es war wirklich wunderbar! Sehr schönes Haus und Garten, super nette Gastgeber, tolles Frühstück, perfekte Lage. Wir wären sehr gerne länger geblieben. Alle sind so nett und man kann viel über das Leben in der Region lernen. Wir haben die Gegend mit einem Roller erkundet, was super möglich ist da der Verkehr dort sehr entspannt ist. Ansonsten kann man aber auch zu Fuß einige der wunderschönen Wasserfälle erreichen. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen hier zu übernachten.

Un séjour de relaxation Koman et sa famille sont très accueillant aux petits soins !! La chambre a une super literie et la salle de bain est très fonctionnelle avec de l eau chaude Elle fait des massages extraordinaires,elle est professeur de massage balinais et de réflexion japonaise ,le petit déjeuner est copieux et avec beaucoup de saveur , Nous avons dîner sur place ,avec petite bougie Nous avons goûté les plat locaux C était parfait !!!! Il y a un service de laverie et on peut louer un scooter Je recommande fortement cette famille est exceptionnelle !!!

Die Familie war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die beiden Besitzer haben uns nicht nur eine informative Mappe mit tollen Tipps für unsere Unternehmungen dagelassen, sondern auch persönlich viel erzählt. Das Frühstück war einfach lecker, mit frisch gepressten Säften und allem, was das Herz begehrt. Was uns jedoch am meisten beeindruckt hat, war die Herzlichkeit und die Offenheit der Familie. Wir durften den Alltag mit den drei Jungs miterleben. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die eine authentische Erfahrung suchen!

The host family was very gracious. I would absolutely recommend this place time and time again . The kids were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Attending the ceremony with the family was an experience i will not soon forget . Tha k you !!

Excellent séjour dans cette famille balinaise. Accueil exceptionnel. Je suis arrivé juste avant une cérémonie et j’ai eu la chance d’être convié à la cérémonie. C’était superbe. Emplacement idéalement situé pour faire les cascades à proximité. Je recommande !!

Todo! Nos cocinó los dos días y estaba riquísimo, el desayuno súper top! Nos hicimos un masaje cada uno y fue el mejor masaje de todo el viaje con mucha diferencia, el trato es inmejorable, volveremos !

Wonderful place, the family is lovely, rooms are charming, the big baths are divine. Very close to two amazing waterfalls (pro tip skip goa reng rang, it's very touristy, the two closer ones are incredible). Breakfast was fantastic

Une famille adorable qui vous reçoit comme des amis dans leur jolie maison au coeur d un quartier très typique. Nous avions une très belle chambre confortable et indépendante dans une petite maison traditionnelle donnant sur le joli jardin. Wayan prépare de délicieux repas et petits déjeuners et fait d excellents massages, tres professionnels. Elle nous a aussi initié à sa cuisine et au tressage des feuilles pour les offrandes. Komane est aussi très accueillant, parle très bien anglais et nous a beaucoup appris sur la culture balinaise en répondant à toutes nos questions. Une jolie cascade se trouve à quelques minutes à pied de la maison dans une magnifique forêt. Vous pourrez louer également facilement un scooter sur place pour explorer les environs. Ce fut vraiment une très belle rencontre avec cette merveilleuse famille et après seulement 2 jours nous étions tristes de les quitter...

Die Vermieter sind super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Habe mir leider auf Lombok den Magen verdorben. Als sie davon mitbekommen haben, haben sie sich sich sehr gut um mich gekümmert und geschaut, das es mir an nichts fehlt. Ich habe mich während meines Aufenthalts hier sehr wohl und behütet gefühlt.

Such a nice family!!! Everyone was so nice and helpful. It is a beautiful room on their property, with a gorgeous bathroom with a great shower. Beautiful area as well, so close to waterfalls and very peaceful. Will be back!!

Everything was great!

Great homestay family run homestay. Komang, Wayan and their lovely children made me feel welcome. Walking distance to a lot of the waterfalls. Very easy to get Grab taxis from.
